Positive experience: It took a while to get into the seat, but once I was there Paul was great. He was friendly and personable, he did a good job of suggesting ideas and not pushing when I told him what I wanted. Great experience, he really cares about his craft.

Fantastic experience: So I usually go to great clips because it’s quick and easy but let me tell you this place is worth the money. I happened by it randomly driving around and decided to give it a shot. Emerson was my technician and he was very friendly, found out what I was looking for and made me feel sexy again. Trust, the wife was very pleased and told me I must stop going to great clips as I have found my stylist. I didn’t get a chance to ask when Emerson is on but I’ll be calling ahead of time to make sure he’s there.

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently become a regular with Emerson Ridge at Hawk & Fade. Dude knows how to cut hair. Fades, especially. Great prices for the quality of haircut, too. I’m 5’6, but I leave there feeling 6’5

Negative experience: First, I will say that I hope that this is just a one-off experience based on the reviews. This is not my typical barber so I was looking for somewhere last minute. While the barber was nice, apologetic, and made it right by reimbursing me for him being behind. It was not a busy morning and my Initial walk-in-the-door experience was met by a staff member with an attitude straight off the bat (not my barber). Additionally, aside from the barber being extremely nice, my haircut was not the best for the amount of effort and attention that went into it. Also, a haircut to me is supposed to be a peaceful experience… this was not. I tipped well but personally, I will not be back and I hope others will have a better experience.

Moving to a new city, it’s always hard to find a permanent barber you can trust, but Paul made that transition super easy. The cut was clean, the experience was professional, and the vibe was great. He’ll definitely be my go-to barber from now on. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I had an awful experience at this place. I let them know that I had a big event coming up and also showed an inspo pic. The guy had no idea what he was doing: He was pushing down on my head really hard with his trimmer to get a close fade. While doing that, he was holding a comb in his hand that was poking into my ear. The end result was quite disappointing. I ended up having to go to a different place to get my hair fixed
