Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to get my haircut professionally done in a while, but I wanted something different so I decided to go into the Floyd’s and it was great! Fantastic experience: Always a good experience here if you are a girly even! Nikki is really good at understanding and acting on my abstract multi picture ideas with my self butchered attempted hair. Anastasha was just down to help me toward my next hair style goal and give me more time relaxing in the shampoo as a stressed mom. All good! Always an appointment is best though! They have also been kind to keep attempting my kids haircuts to check if their brave enough yet. Get the tea tree shampoo and conditioner if you want a refreshing experience. Hot towell with shampoo.

Fantastic experience: Ariel did an amazing job cutting my 8yr old son’s chin-length hair today. She gave him an undercut with a fade, and the result was exactly what he was hoping for. Her service was excellent—patient, skilled, and attentive. The facility itself is clean, has an amazing vibe, and very welcoming. We are absolutely come back and highly recommend Ariel to anyone looking for a great haircut!

Fantastic experience: Been going to Floyd’s for years, never got around to writing a review though. All their barbers are skilled and take passion in what they do… I’ve seen first hand through Sean who used to always cut my hair, it always came out just the way I liked it. I’ve most recently been going to Bryan. He’s done an exceptional job. I asked for a mid fade 2’, and to leave an inch and a half on the top… and he was able to go off of simple instructions, and my hair was cut in about 20 minutes. The price for the Floyd’s cut was $38, I tipped $7 so $45 total… great deal considering I usually only get a haircut every 3-4 months. Their staff and the atmosphere is always pleasant! I’d definitely recommend going to Floyd’s if you’re overdue for a haircut.

Fantastic experience: I love the shops atmosphere and how friendly the front desk people are when checking in. However, I also want to give a full shoutout to: AVA! When I moved here I was nervous about finding a new stylist. Ava not only was so welcoming from the very beginning, but she understands the assignment. Any reference photos I’ve shown her she takes it and makes it 1000 times better and adds her own touch. There has never been a time since going to her where she has not done an excellent job. I went in wanting to originally grow out my hair, but then decided to chop it off and ever since I have had amazing compliments about this being my best haircut/style. I enjoy my appointment days and look forward to seeing her because she is very friendly, too. She is genuinely an amazing human. :)

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my 5yo son to see Lauren for the past few month and I couldn’t be happier!!! She’s patient and so sweet with him. He used to be very nervous when it came to haircuts but that all changed because of her, he looks forward to every appointment. Negative experience: Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten in my life, definitely never going back there, there’s not way they got a young woman with not experience or clue what she was doing to take in customers, horrifying, had to go to a different barbershop to try and fix that mess

Negative experience: This is my first time at Floyd’s and probably my last. I went in for a beard trim. I asked for a goatee beard fade; I even showed the young lady a picture of exactly what I wanted. Not only did my trim come out incorrectly but she cut my ear with the clippers. She also jolted me backwards by not telling me she was leaning me backwards in the chair.

Fantastic experience: Me and my daughter have had some rough times over the passed year or so. For our hair type. We had found Sami forever ago. We found out she is back!!!! Oh my goodness me and my daughter left so happy!!! And not just happy for us but our hair happy!!! Hair was washed! Beautifully cut! Still what we wanted but a clean up.. we will always be with Sami thank you so much for bringing smiles back to our faces and having healthy hair!!!

Fantastic experience: Grace gave me a really great cut. I came in with a look in mind and I think she executed it perfectly. She was patient, worked in stages so we didn’t accidentally go too short, and repeatedly checked in on my comfort and satisfaction throughout the process. Great care and a great experience. Negative experience: Terrible customer service. I have never been wholly ignored by staff at a barbershop before. I showed up to my appointment and waited for 10 minutes past my appointment. In that time I watched both barbers finish with their customers and then dissappear into the back. The host ignored me as I sat there and finally, I just decided I'd take my business elsewhere.

Positive experience: I go to this location regularly which is why I have it 4 stars mostly, I just really wish they kept a log or a notes system of previous haircuts for their clients like great clips does, I learned tonight from the guy who cut my hair theirs no log of my haircuts at all and it’d make it a lot easier of an experience between the customer and client when describing what I want, I don’t know all the tech terms and what a 2 vs a 3 vs a half is, so it makes it hard to tell the the hair stylist what I want and describe it it’d lead to less confusion and weirdness between hair dresser and client,

She ask you how you want it and then finally I just tell her I can do whatever I hadn’t seen her since August 2024. Fantastic experience: Kai is an absolute badass with her cuts. She's the first person in years who could understand what I'd want in my haircut and kills it every time. Negative experience: I had an appointment scheduled for 9am. The person that was supposed to open the store did not arrive on time and the ladies said they would be there by 9:30am. I was told since my appointment was at 9am that it would be cancelled and that I could try to come back around 5pm and see if I could get in. I had to organize with my boss to get some time off to get my haircut and the ladies were incredibly rude about the whole situation in general. I have been a customer for over 8 months and this is the worst experience by far. I get it is not their fault but the lack of professionalism does not reflect well on the brand at all.

Negative experience: Arrived 10 minutes late to an appointment due to extremely limited parking and was rejected. Was offered an appointment at another location across town. I understand that I was late, but the parking was out of my control and I've waited far longer than 10 minutes for stylists to be ready for me at this very location so it's unfortunate that the courtesy couldn't be reciprocated.

Fantastic experience: OH MY GOODNESS BEST PLACE EVER! I went to Supercut’s and had a horrible haircut. The next day I went to Floyd’s near the theaters and it was perfect! Lisa was my stylist and she fixed my hair so fast. She made it look more organized and natural and just saved my hair life! Will for sure be coming back here!

Negative experience: I was really disappointed with my experience here. I came in needing a haircut for an important occasion, but unfortunately, none of the barbers were able to work with my hair type (black man hair). To make matters worse, I was told the wait would be two hours, even though four barbers appeared to be available and not actively working. I truly hope that one day this shop becomes more inclusive and brings in barbers who are skilled in cutting all hair types, including textured hair. I’m sure they do great work for others, but unfortunately, this wasn’t the place for me. So sad.

Negative experience: Came and got a hair cut, Saturday. Probably the worst haircut I think I’ve ever had. The back of my head was missed and I have a bald spot for the lady attempting a hard line . I reached out to ask if it could be fixed but they sent surveys instead of making it right. Don’t waste your time here find a reputable barber.

Negative experience: We had booked an appointment with Pixie, because she has cut my son’s hair the past two times and does a beautiful job. We have been working on fixing a bad haircut from a previous barbershop and we were almost at our desired look. However, to our surprise, a different barber met our son at the desk and we just went with it. I believe her name was Jamie. He showed her a reference photo and I just told her that he wanted it trimmed up a bit in the back and off his ears. She chopped it entirely way too short all the way around and it looks absolutely ridiculous! She tried to cover up the damage with product but there was no way to cover it up. Yes hair grows back, but we are so upset. I won’t attach a photo because it is a child.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Nikky, at the Cinema Point location in Colorado Springs, to anyone no matter what your length of hair or gender. She listened to what I wanted, made some amazing recommendations, and I had the best haircut of my life. I’m 47, so that’s saying something. Fantastic experience: I made an appointment the day before asking for someone who to ask who could cut my hair in a certain style. They hooked me up with Mary, and damn... She did an amazing job on my head. She's is not a beautician, she is a magician! Loved it.

Negative experience: I'd been a client at Floyd's for a long time, but I rarely get my hair cut because I was **afraid of having my hair ruined, cut too short, or uneven.** I am blind, therefore I must remove my glasses before they can work on my hair. In the past, I've had professional hair stylists trim and style my hair, and I've always enjoyed it. Barbers have asked me to put on my glasses and give my opinion on the style and length of my hair being trimmed. My favorite barber is Barb D and she knew exactly what she was doing. I just wish I had more time for her to give me the haircut I needed. Until yesterday... (09/07/2024), I trusted someone new to cut my hair because it had been two years since I had it cut and I didn't have any other days open to get it done. It was a mid-length pixie cut, and my hair was long enough on the top and sides to trim it slightly based on the photograph I showed them. I don't know who did my hair, but I believe her name was either Lauren or Ashley that did my hair. Anyway, I showed her a photo and trusted her with my hair. I got to know her and asked if she had ever done short hair before, and she said yes, many times. I expressed my worries **from above**, when I showed her the photograph of the style of hair cut I wanted, and I couldn't see what she was doing when she began cutting. She never asked about my opinion on the length or the style; instead, she cut it far too short and hair looked nothing like the style I wanted. I'm quite unsatisfied with the service I received, and I wish I had spoken my true feelings regarding my recent haircut. I shouldn't be complaining too much because my hair grows and it's not the end of the world if they cut it incorrectly, but my experience there wasn't particularly pleasant. I also noted that there were less employees than usual owing to a four-day snowstorm. Anyway, this is my review.

Fantastic experience: My stylist was very friendly and conversational. She helped me feel confident with my haircut and what I wanted to do. Additionally, she made sure I was comfortable with the length I wanted cut and showed it to me before doing it. Negative experience: Spent an hour sitting waiting, we were early that’s on me. Waiting 30 minutes past my appointment. As people walk in and sit down at chairs for cuts. My son had an appointment 5 minutes after me he was done and waiting with me for like an additional 20 minutes after his cut. Absolutely absurd, I don’t have that kind of time to waste.

Fantastic experience: I booked an appointment with a specific stylist originally to get a full service on my long hair because I was going to a wedding the same day, but got a call day of saying that the stylist wouldn't be available anymore and we'd have to reschedule my appointment. Dani was great and still ultimately got me in at my original time with a different stylist, Cassandra, and she did a great job on my hair! It had been almost a year since my last cut and I was worried about coming to a new stylist, but she made me feel comfortable and welcome and gave me exactly what I was looking for with my hair. Left feeling confident and cute. Definitely will be coming back to get my hair cut with Cassandra!

Fantastic experience: Barb is wonderful! I went in today feeling indecisive but knew I wanted a refresh. She knocked it outta the park. The front of my hair gets quite heavy/full and drives me crazy and lately the solution has been to just cut it shorter but she worked her magic and added some texture and gave it style. Very satisfied.

Negative experience: the worst place...after driving more than 30 minutes, I arrive at my appointment and although the stylist is there, she simply decides not to see me and the only option they give me is that I have to wait an hour and a half more for someone to see me. But you can help me or come back another day. They never called to cancel the appointment or say that the person would not be able to assist me. the worst customer service.

Positive experience: My appointment was at 4:30.. at 4:45pm some who I didn’t book my son with stepped in because the stylist I booked with was chatting with her previous client. When I asked if he would be done at 5:10 for our movie time the receptionist was rude stating my appointment was at 4:40pm… when in fact I showed her my email it was at 4:30pm. Took two stars off for rude receptionist and poor time management.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible customer service, was late for 9 minutes while finding a parking spot. The reception canceled my appointment as I was talking to her. Don't like pulling the race card, but I am confident the barbers were a little intimated by my Afro hair. If you are black, this isn't your spot.

Negative experience: You will see “Walk-Ins” posted on their storefront. Don’t believe it unless you want to wait upwards of three hours for a haircut. I came in on a Monday at noon and was quoted 3:00pm at the earliest, then 6:00pm when they heard what I wanted. If you absolutely have to go here, you’ll have to schedule an appointment and plan your entire day around it… or you could just go literally anywhere else that cuts hair.

Negative experience: Gotten my hair cut here 3 times and I haven’t liked my hair cut any of the 3 times. I usually have medium length hair and every time I’ve gone to this shop I end up having some of the shortest haircuts I have ever had despite what I ask for. I even offered to pay extra to please get the haircut I wanted and I think the last one was probably the worst. I understand they are probably not on par w higher end shops but regardless paying $50 for a haircut I’m never satisfied with makes the pain of begging for it to grow back even more hurtful. I’m sure this shop does great short hair but for anyone w medium or longer hair I would not recommend

Fantastic experience: La ‘Val C was absolutely amazing. With understanding of my fear of cutting my hair after a horrible previous experience a year ago. Negative experience: It is unfortunate that I need to give such a welcoming place a poor review. I have never been here so when I called and asked for an appointment so I could get my beard worked on, they said that I have to apparently specify that I want my beard worked on. As a new uninformed client, the person over the phone should have clarified that and everything would have been great. However the whole session ended up being a colossal waste of time. The FIRST thing I said to the stylist was that I want my beard worked on. That was the second chance to inform me and clarify that I needed a beard specific appointment. Instead I have to wait until after my haircut before I'm told that not only is it separate, that they do not have time for me now and need to move to the next client. So now the WHOLE REASON I came to give this place business in the first place is unavailable to me and if I was asked what the purpose of my appointment was over the phone, then this could all have been avoided. Definitely not impressed. Definitely not coming back.

Negative experience: **I WAS 6 MINUTES LATE TO MY APPOINTMENT AND THEY WOULDN'T SEE ME BECAUSE THEIR POLICY IS ONLY 5 MINUTES LATE** I understand that to run a business you have to have policies ect. But I kid you not, my appointment was at 10:20am and I got there at 10:26am and the girl at the front said they couldn't take me...when all of the other hairstylists were working on other people...so I would have had to sit around anyways...Granted I could have left 5 minutes earlier but I honestly didn't think all the road construction would slow me down that much. But to have a policy that doesn't give a minute grace is ridiculous. Especially with the amount of road construction we have in this city.

Fantastic experience: My hair stylist, La-Val welcomed the idea I presented her no questions asked. And when it was all done it was exactly what I wanted coming in. She was friendly, easy to talk to and overall a joy to be around even when the store was busy and full of people. I definitely would recommend them with any hair cut or hair style you’re going for.
