Fantastic experience: Jason is not only an exceptional human, he’s an outstanding barber as well! I’m a little bummed that I couldn’t park my jeep wrangler in the Tesla charging spot though.

Fantastic experience: If you’re tired of leaving a haircut looking like a confused shrub, do yourself a favor and walk into Lincoln St. Barbers. First off, this place isn’t pretending to be a barbershop—it actually is one. The difference becomes obvious about thirty seconds after you sit in the chair. The barbers here know their craft, slangin straight razors, scissors, and clippers with the calm confidence of people who have done this a few thousand times before breakfast. No mystery fades, no “I tried something new” moments—just clean, precise cuts and proper shaves. The vibe is exactly what a neighborhood barbershop should be: relaxed, a little rowdy, and full of good conversation. You can sit down, crack open a cold beverage, and shoot the breeze while the barbers do their thing. It feels less like running an errand and more like stopping by a clubhouse where everyone’s welcome. I’ll be back—mostly because my hair keeps growing, but also because Jason runs a damn good barbershop. Local hack…if parking is ever tight, just act like your gas car is electric and fill in the gaps at the Tesla station!

Fantastic experience: Just recently started going to Lincoln Street barbers. Barret does a great job and makes sure everything is to your liking before you walk out the door. Service is never rushed and you can tell he takes pride in his work. Brought my 11 year old son in with me and he had consistently asked when we will be going back. I highly recommend for anyone looking for great service and atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a loyal customer at this barbershop for five years, and it’s hands down the best one I’ve ever experienced, and the top spot in Colorado Springs. Savannah is my go-to barber, delivering the cleanest high fades every time, enhanced by her masterful use of an advanced razor technique to precisely sculpt and shape the hair on the scalp—a rare skill that’s hard to find elsewhere. The whole team is welcoming, kind, and maintains incredibly high standards. The old-school vibe is unbeatable, with everyone rocking tattoos and Vans. Booking online through their website is super easy too. I truly appreciate this place!

Positive experience: Going to have to downgrade my review after noticing some serious deficiencies in my overall haircut as its grown out. I try to stay loyal to barbers and shops - so understand this isn't coming from a place of malice but honest feedback. Also I decided to give my cut sometime to grow out before making a call. Last time I went in I gave Barrett pretty clear instructions that I wanted the top of my hair to have a point cut to lay in layers. I've had my hair point cut multiple time so I know what a good point cut and competent point cutting technique looks like. I never had a barber say they were incapable of point cutting hair with scissors - so I assumed it was a fundamental technique known by most upscale men's barbers. Half-way through the haircut and after trimming down my top to a much shorter length Barrett lets me know he isn't skilled with using scissors, but he believes he can approximate the technique using his clippers. At the time the result was a blocky, poorly blended, chopped up mess of hair with cowlicks sticking up all about the back of the crown. I wish Barrett had been straightforward about his inability to point cut with scissors and didn't try to match the technique with his clippers. Again, didn't want to jump to conclusions so I gave my hair time to grow out. It only got worse with time. To the owner: you've got a great shop with great barbers but Barrett clearly needs some scissors training. I wouldn't take time to bring this issue to your attention if I didn't think Lincoln Street was such a top notch barber shop and the issue was correctable. To the customers: this barbershop is the place to go if you want a clippers only cut - they know fades and buzzcuts. I'd be selective about who you hire as a barber here if your looking for a combination clippers fade / scissors trim - do your research, ask questions, make sure you get honest, straightforward answers.

Fantastic experience: The best barbershop in the springs by far, I usually see Miguel but honestly any of their barbers can cut. My son got Barrett today and he also did an outstanding job. I highly recommend for anyone who is needed a good cut with great conversation and treatment.

Fantastic experience: I found Lincoln Street shortly after we moved here from Austin, and I can’t over-emphasize how great this place is with its relaxed but professional vibe. I’ve never stuck with a place/barber this consistently, but everything from scheduling to the in-chair experience is so easy. Jason is also just a good human (and excellent barber) and has been super helpful in making recommendations as my family gets settled in COS. Negative experience: Jason has been cutting my hair for 20 years and I have been a loyal client of his since before he started his business Lincoln Street Barbers. I made an appointment at the beginning of March 2020 for May 30th at 10:30am. When I called on May 29th to confirm my appointment, they told me the time had been moved to 7:30pm. When I explained that I couldn’t come at that time due to my work schedule, Jason told me he would no longer cut my hair and to find a new stylist. I have been waiting for this appointment for a long time, I did not receive a call or email about the time change. Then to have Jason, the owner not only cancel my appointment the day before but also refuse to honor my appointment at all at the very last minute is truly poor service. I have recommended him and his salon for years but I certainly won’t anymore. Now I have to search for another stylist as well as try to find an appointment when this one was reserved for months. I should have been notified when I booked the appointment. Lincoln Street Barbers is downright rude and inconsiderate. To your response: it was absolutely your intention! Your response 5 years later is spoken like a true narcissist!

Fantastic experience: Great place. Been there 4 or 5 times now for a beard trim. Staff is outstanding and listens to what you want done. Highly recommend going there but make an appointment first. Not a lot of walk-Ins available because most of the barbers are booked all day. I’ve had Miguel and Andrea both do my beard and the service and attention to detail was second to none.

Negative experience: This place came highly recommended when talking with others. I was looking for a barber to do my first ever beard trim, along with a hair cut. I have been weary and highly selective of a place and had a number of people assure me that they would do what I wanted. The haircut came out fine, I am very happy with it. But to say I am devastated over my beard is not an understatement. First the pros. This was not a rushed service, Barret took his time. Especially on my hair and was very detailed orientated. Going into the beard trim I had all the confidence in the world as this was the best cut I have had in a long time. I have accepted I am thinning and receding on top, but have to have to maintain a certain cut for work, and he worked with that very well. He asked questions and was attentive and I thought we were on the same terms when it came to the beard as he affirmed I really didnt want length off and was looking for shape. But I walked out with it much shorter than I wanted and shaped close to what I had asked, but the shortness ruined it. My partner tells me it doesnt look that bad, I personally disagree, and while it looks "clean" this is very far from what I wanted. I have been working on my beard for months and all I can do is wait for it to grow back. I cant say I would recommend him for a beard trim, unless you want something short and lined up, but I certianly would for a hair cut. Im not the most photogenic, but here is the closest I could get as a before and after with the before pics from this weekend, the hair cut really does look nice when styled, I was more focusing on the beard.

The barbers are all very skilled, but the best part of this place is the vibes. The barbers are all really cool people who will have great conversations with you, there's always great music in the background, and they offer complimentary drinks for their customers while they wait. I personally recommend Jason and Brandie, but I've heard great things about the other barbers as well. Overall just a fantastic experience every time.

I am not a nervous person very often, but I will say my first haircut in a year was a little nerve-racking, but also very exciting for me. Positive experience: Honestly Lincoln st barbershop gives some of the best cuts I've ever had in all my travels, I have a harder head of hair to cut and it's very unforgiving, that being said they did an amazing job fixing the mop that grew upon my head to bringing me back to my Army days, that being said the prices are the sole reason I cannot visit as often as I would like too.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic barbershop, a step above! Update- Still the best barbershop I've ever gone to over five years later. This place makes you feel like family, a member of the civilized misfits. I even have one of their stickers on my car and a t-shirt. I can't say enough good things about this place and her crew. Just remember you need to come by or call to get set up with an appointment. Don't walk in expecting a cut. They are fully booked quite often to the point that Jason (owner) even put a sign up to try to alleviate that exact problem.

Fantastic experience: Normally hate getting my hair cut, needed to look good for a wedding - got an appointment with Justin and it was the best haircut of my life! I only had a vague idea of what I wanted and he was super friendly and able to help me out with the exact cut that complemented my face shape, plus the hot towel + hair wash was a nice touch. Will definitely be going back again.

Negative experience: I made a point to call Justin to see if he could do a traditional hair cut. Just trim things up with a little off the top. I repeated it when I got there. He cut it way too short and it stands out all around. Looked good at first until it dried. A real rip off at $60. I should have followed my hunch he only gives a buzz haircut.

Fantastic experience: Best men's barber in town. Prices are not outrageous at all and they serve beer, coffee while you wait. Regarding the quality of service, I just pick a time that works for me with any provider. Normally, I like to find a stylist that I frequently use so they get used to my hair and how I like it cut, Brandie is my favorite! Not here. Ever since I started coming here, I have never had an issue with the quality or care in the service. Everyone there is beyond talented and extremely good and understanding what you want. Fantastic experience: My experience was great. The shop is cozy and all the chairs were filled so it felt like a pretty busy. I had been looking for a new barber with a central location and Lincoln Street fits the bill. I was greeted when I entered in a friendly way and waited only moments for Andrea to swoop me up and we got down to business. It was nice to come in for my appointment time and not have to wait. Andrea did a great job understanding what my style and expectations were by asking good questions. They get booked up pretty quick so make sure you book online. I imagine walk-ins could happen but I wouldn’t count on it. Maybe worth stopping by if you’re in the neighborhood to check but I would say booking online is your best bet. Like I said it was a full house and by the quality of the work I could see happening it’s probably always that way. I found my new barber shop and will be booking with Andrea again. Thanks for running such a good shop.

I’m not from the area but I was getting married at the Rockies and was in need of a touch up before the big day. The staff was friendly and were able to fit me in the same day, might’ve been lucky since this place is so popular. I had the pleasure of getting my haircut from Jennifer and man… she got me looking the best I had in years. Fantastic experience: I've been going to Lincoln Street Barbers for about 5 years now. I went to Angelica for about 2 years and after she left, I've been with Andrea the rest of the time. Both Barbers are great and give excellent service. The atmosphere is great and it's neat to have a haircut where I used to go to school. Anyone looking for a great barber, ask for Andrea Corbett.
