Fantastic experience: I booked a last-minute appointment for my 6-year-old son with Mateo, and it was our first visit. Mateo was incredibly professional and clearly very skilled at what he does. He was so warm and welcoming that my autistic son felt comfortable with him right away, which meant a lot to me. The shop was clean, and the other barbers were friendly as well. I would definitely recommend Mateo to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I’m the type of guy that doesn’t like change. I moved here in August and was looking for a barber. I went some place else and the cut was not what I wanted or expected. Someone recommended I go see Trevor at Artz or Fadez and I was little uneasy at first but he dove right in and made my fade super fresh. I can honestly say that it is top of the line. This dude takes his time and makes sure the lines are crisp and that I’m happy with my cut. I couldn’t recommend Trevor enough.

Fantastic experience: My 9 year old has been getting his haircut here by Jasmine for 2 years but everyone that works at the shop is always so welcoming when we come in now and my little guy gets complemented about how great his hair looks all the time. Everywhere else we went left him with a Floyd from Dumb and Dumber looking cut. Oh and as a millennial mom I can tell you the music he listens to in my car is far worse than what I hear at The shop! Negative experience: Stone does a great job on my hair and is very personable. However, they play rap music and I clearly heard the F word, N word and S word. There was a child in here (North Academy location). This is very inexcusable for a reputable, professional hair salon to be playing this kind of music. I want to keep coming here because of Stone's professionalism but I don't know if I will come back if the music doesn't change to something much more appropriate. Please change it!
