Negative experience: I don’t know how this place gets the reviews it gets but every time I go there I ask for a low taper little of the top and keep the bulk in the back; but most of the barbers there just start cutting how much they want instead of how much I say. So it comes out uneven all the time. And I got a hairline and the made it slanted

Fantastic experience: When I first moved to PHX, I visited 3 other barbers before finding Vlad’s. Im certain a majority of us have had a struggle finding a new barber/shop that at minimum meets our requests. Here, they get you IN and OUT within 20-45min without compromising quality. I’ve been coming for the past 3 years and now that I’ve moved out of state, whenever I make plans to visit PHX again, I save the fresh fade for when I land rather than getting cut up prior to boarding my flight. Easy to locate and the atmosphere is welcoming and well lit. Booking is simple! Highly recommend reserving with Vlad or Big Mike. Accepts walk-ins and Men’s Haircuts are about $33-35 before tip. Preferred methods of payments are Zelle, CashApp, and Venmo

Negative experience: I walk in for my usual 3month haircut and my stylist inst there (must’ve been her day off) so I took my chances w THALIA and just messed me up luckily I gave an alternative haircut to salvage was on my head for hair and proceeded the give me a line up without asking but maybe that wasn’t her fault, am just used to Lorena not messing around overall cool place but I would ask if Lorena’s working for the day oh NOTE* no compensation for the lineup accident either

Negative experience: Doesn't matter if you show them a picture, video or describe the haircut you want in detail. They will always do the exact opposite of what you ask for. If you like your hair a little long don't even bother.

Negative experience: First time going. I arrived owner just stared didn't say a word to me. Luckily one of the barbers called me to the back. He cut my sons hair. Oh but they are quick to great male customers. It feels disrespectful to be ignored. Not once was i greated. Even my 11 year daughter noticed. Even tho the barber did an amazing job in cutting my sons hair. I won't be going back. I'll continue searching for a good barbershop

Fantastic experience: I’ve come to Vlad’s a couple times now because the barbers are great here. Always a good experience. I get cut by Raul and as a more masc presenting woman, he makes me feel very welcomed, comfortable, and heard. He understands what I ask for and makes sure I’m liking the cut every step of the way. He’s not super talkative which I don’t mind at all. He’s fast and efficient and my cuts take 30-40 min so it feels like I’m in and out in no time. I always leave feeling fresh and confident. Vlad has also always been there the times I’ve gone which is cool to see the owner present and working alongside his barbers. I definitely recommend this shop, you won’t regret it.
