Fantastic experience: Famous is an kind and accommodating Barber. I got my son last minute for Christmas. I called all the barbers I knew and all were booked. We thought my son’s hair was cooked for Christmas Eve dinner . Famous rolled out from the back. Set out the red carpet; and took my kid and gave him a fresh cut he loved. My son’s words were. “ Finally someone who cuts my hair how I wanted.” 10/10 thank you Famous!

Negative experience: When I went I was thinking I was gonna pay 50 for my hair turns out I paid 55 my barber was Romeo bro was cool but I didn’t get the haircut I wanted and on top of that bro said I’m gonna give you a special did my beard and ended up messing up my beard won’t ever recommend anyone to come here I had a good talk with the barbers but just didn’t like the work not ever returning thanks for you’re time

Negative experience: They charge you 5 bucks to make an appointment yet your barber isn't even close to on time? I've never in my life heard of charging to make an appointment. If the client doesn't show up, ok maybe the charge. But if you come in on time already willing to pay 40 bucks then what the heck is the other 5 for? They should drop the charge at that point. Not going back to this place when there's tons of other shops in the area.

Negative experience: “I had a disappointing experience at this barbershop.I’ve been bringing my kids for 8 years straight the barber STEVEN that cut my sons hair did a horrible job I had to ask him twice to fix it but he just messed it up even more !!!!!!left with my son crying that is how bad the hair cut was and my son said Steven was being really mean to him that he told him when I put your head there you stay .The barber seemed uninterested in listening to what I wanted, and the haircut ended up being uneven and sloppy Overall, it wasn’t the experience I expected, and I won’t be returning. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service I always pay upfront and tip well they didn’t resolve my issue when i called upset lost a customer the new people they got just aren’t good

Positive experience: I went in expecting a good haircut since my siblings highly recommended it and the high shop rating. Asked for a relatively simple and in style haircut expecting a okay to good haircut. The barber then proceeded to cut off half my length on top without proper consulting me after I told him that I wanted a little bit off the top. Overall good customer service and atmosphere and cut was good besides it being a little too short in the front :(

Negative experience: Scheduled a 4:30 appointment and it was rescheduled without my knowledge to 12pm. If I was available at that time I would've scheduled it. I found out about the rescheduled appointment this morning via email. Because it was 10 past 8 when I tried to cancel the system would not allow it because it has to be done 4 hours prior to the appointment even though I never made this appointment! Call them up and nobody knows anything and can't help with a refund. Crap service tbh.

Negative experience: Yea uh I pay 50 bucks to look like megamind. I think I'm done with Mexican barbershops. I think I should just go to a black owned barber shop. I didn't notice this since I got in the car. Got light to my head. Yeah I saw it imperfections I was like man you know what I was better off looking the way I look before. No haircut at all.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for a few years now and never had any issues. Everyone is good at what they do. I recommend going early on the weekdays or midday-early evening on the weekends to avoid those rushes where your waiting up to an hour and half.

Fantastic experience: My son is very particular about his hair(teen) and does not trust alot of people and refuses to go to any franchise place so he reads reviews on all kinds of places and found this place so we travel from Laveen to Famous Cutz Barbershop to get his hair cutz. They have never let him down. I'm sorry I can't remember the guys name but he is the second chair when you walk and he is the one my son goes to. He really like the way he cuts his hair. He let's him know what he is wanting and he never disappoints. It is worth the travel n price(which isn't bad at all). Make sure you an appointment because they get pretty busy. They DO take walk ins but just gotta be patient.

Positive experience: We walked in without an appointment and were seated right away. My son has been here three times. They've done a great job every time. They do take their time. This last time I felt they were a little more pricey. The seating area is small, they have working TV's. It is rather warm while you wait.

Fantastic experience: Been searching for a while now for a barber, and let me tell you this place is legit. Got my hair cut from 4 different barbers here and all of em did an outstanding job, Most recently was from Nate, guy hooked it up.

Negative experience: I asked for a burst fade with a line up in the middle of my eyebrows and to round it out on the back guy gave me the fade and then pulled up a photo with a guy with a completely different haircut and more bulk and asked if I wanted my line up like that mind you i don’t have enough hair for the line up he showed me he also cut the sides of the back and cut nothing in the middle and and tried leaving me with a rat tail that I didn’t ask for also gave me c cups that I also didn’t ask for

Made me feel like a man! I really do like it here and only been here twice, do recommend this place it is very nice as well as the barbers.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for years and have had a great experience every time I went. However, I recently got a haircut from one of the new barbers and they left the fade a bit messy. I went back to get the fade fixed the same day and was charged an extra $30 on top of the $30 I was charged from the first barber that left the fade messy. Not a great experience to have to pay outta pocket to have another barber fix something the first barber left messy. ***edit*** One of the barbers reached out and fixed the issue, definitely a barber shop that cares for its customers!

I'm very picky about who touches my hair because everyone like to mess it up, cut the top of my hair unevenly, or rush the cut. Fantastic experience: First time I came here, I was somewhat satisfied with my cut not because it wasn’t cut well but because the barber was taking so long to finish up and on top of that he cut off some of my eyebrow. Figured I give it another chance this time I took my boys with me to get them cuts. One of my boys is autistic and doesn’t really trust ppl touching him let alone cutting his hair. But the barber he went to(wish I knew his name) did really well and super patient with him. Thank for that (barber at the 4th chair to the left) all of our cuts came out clean and very well done. Negative experience: Had a 1pm appointment, arrived 5min before my appointment time 57 min later we walked out. They advertise appointments don’t disappoint well I’m very disappointed waited for Joe @joe_fadez for almost an hour. Joe kept laughing and showing his client his phone and goofing around that shows me that the barbershop has no respect for peoples time. Very disappointed that Echo wasn’t there today if he was I wouldn’t be writing this type of review.

Not only do I book with Moe but all my sons do as well. I have six boys ages 1 year old to 18 years old no matter the age Moe can accommodate with skill and expert service. Fantastic experience: I walked in yesterday to get a haircut, and Tre put me in his chair right away. He was very welcoming starting conversation as if him and I have been boys for awhile. You can tell he’s passionate about cutting hair. I’m very skeptical if my haircut takes 30 minutes… something has to be wrong. The cut was an hour long, made sure to get every unwanted piece of hair. Even took a couple before and after pics for the gram, so you know he put out his best work to rep the shop. Looking forward to the next cut

Fantastic experience: Highly Recommend!! I took my son here for a fade, lineup and facial cleanup. Famous got him hooked up right and the price was great considering the amazing work he did. I usually get a hair cut from from another shop but I was banned there recently due to a simple misunderstanding. This most recent time I came in I had the pleasure of getting faded by the barber from New York. Really great shop. Will be back.
