Fantastic experience: If you are looking for an excellent old school authentic barber shop experience look no further. I got the opportunity to visit Rob for a haircut last Friday, and from the moment I sat down in the barber's chair, I felt like one of boys. What made Rob stand out is he took a few minutes to take in my hairs notoriously difficult hair growth pattern rather jump straight in cutting, without prompting from me. It's been a long time since I trusted a barber cutting my hair. His other awesome google reviews didn't steer me wrong. Rob fully communicated what he was doing as he cut and clippered me to looking fresh and clean. Cheers Rob! Fantastic experience: My man there is a true, down to earth sorta fella - friendly, making sure everyone is comfortable. Had many laughs whilst he cut my boys hair. So, personality is all there and so are his hair-cutting and taming skills. The boy got a nice, clean, mostly-scissor cut "golfers haircut" (I think it's a brand new style we just came up with haha). Comfortable location, friendly host and well priced, good quality work - no fault to be seen or heard. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Rob is someone i admire. I love myself more everytime I walk out the door. Yarns, someone to vent to about your job, proper life advise, invitation to events and a place I can be myself. Great skills on haircuts and never had a haircut as neat.

Negative experience: Sign on the door said back in 10mins call or txt, waited a few minutes then called, waited a few more minutes then txt, 20minutes later we left, 45minutes later still nothing.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely awesome. My boys don't like having their hair cut usually, but this place is great. Both boys had a great time talking while they got their hair cut, came out with very cool cuts and were stoked with the whole experience. This will be our new regular. They now ask when we are going back to get our hair cut.

Negative experience: Went here and the guy had a trainee cut my hair without even asking my permission. Result was not something I would expect from a professional barber. Never going back there again. I'd rather just do it myself

Fantastic experience: Lovely, friendly, and happy people. First time to come here for my 8 year old son's haircut. He has a long hair and hasn't been cut for 6 months. Negative experience: Went here a while back, the guy did a really bad job. Went back to get it fixed, then he charged me for fixing it. Would not recommend at all. Very poor quality service and cuts.

If you want a fade actually a real fade this is the place you wanna go. I live in Newtown and i drive all the way to wainuiomata for my haircut. 100% satisfaction.
