STYLISH BARBER

Fantastic experience: Had my long hair cut short to a fade for the first time in three years and I couldn't be happier. Big thanks to Faris (sorry not sure of the spelling) for being so open to my requests and made sure the look I want fits my facial features. Plus, price is very good!

Negative experience: Worst haircut my son has ever had, asked for a specific pattern, but it looks nothing like the picture we showed. The staff were rude, felt like they didn’t even want to be at there job. Horrible vibe. Even my son 6 years old is disappointed with the result. He thought he was getting something that looked like the picture, but instead it looks like a Temu version of what he asked for. So glad I didn’t have my other son who was with us sit in the chair would have ended up with two horrible cuts. If I could give zero stars, I would. Big regret coming here

Negative experience: Bad customer service, wasn’t welcoming didn’t listen to what the client wanted, had to ask for the multiple fix ups during the appointment. Won’t be going back and definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Negative experience: Genuinely the worst hair cut I've ever had. Got something totally the opposite of what I asked for, and even then it was a bad haircut for what it was. Had to shave my head when I got home. Choose somewhere else.

Negative experience: They pushed my hairline way back to Africa

Negative experience: The new guy they have hired is appalling. He had no customer service skills, was very rude, and pushed my head around roughly multiple times through the haircut. He also is not aware of how to cut hair properly. The employee (maybe owner) with the black beard knows how to cut hair well, however this was a huge let down.

Fantastic experience: Murad cut my hair. I can honestly say it's the best hair cut of my life. His skills with his equipment is next level! I highly recommend!

Negative experience: Absolute worst place for a haircut. Couldn't even follow my simple instructions of how I want my hair to be cut even when I showed pictures of how I want it to be done. The guy kept on talking to his friend throughout my haircut and didn't even bothered to listen what I was saying and cut my hair way shorter than what I asked for Horrible.

Negative experience: Not recommend, here’s why. Clearly there are a strong language and cultural barrier with those barbers. They couldn’t understand a simple ask of a fade cut. I got to trim my hair with a barber 28yr from Iraq, didn’t understand much English, opined on the cut I chose wouldn’t work for me. I’m not paying to get your opinion on what cut works and not. He left a bruise on my neck after a few days a clear line that he cut.( see picture).

Fantastic experience: Amazing! This place is my go to! Since I discovered them beginning of 2021 I use the same barber and have never been disappointed. Wait time varies but that’s standard I guess. Great work guys! Please move to Auckland when I do

Negative experience: So i went in there with my 6yrs old for a haircut, told them not to use blades or anything around the chin and ears. I've been through that with myself and my kid at a place at lower hutt. I told him very clearly do not use anything around those areas. In the middle of the cut, he started using it and i was shocked. I had to stand next to him for the rest of his cut. when i told hi,m after the cut that that despite of me telling you not to use them he is just 6yrs old kid, you still did mate. The other guy came jumping in saying next time you should say, i told him i did. It is very sad to that there is a huge language gap and barrier there or there is something which makes them do it. I'm so sad, the other place next to them closed early and i had to go there but I WILL NEVER go there and I Strongly NOT recommend STYLISH BARBER in lower hutt. I can clearly see from a couple of other reviews where people have come for a haircut but also have their eyebrows razed. Not sure if this will make people come back to their shop more often or its just the instinct there of razing un-necessary areas as well....

Negative experience: Went to get a cut asked for it too be same length all over did not happen and in the process I got one of my eyebrows cut off

Negative experience: One barber, full shop of customers. Two children in shop. The barber decides to put on full graphic, MMA fighting. Blood, KOs, the works. I left with my 7 year old son and went next door to Boss haircuts. Totally inappropriate TV for a child and most customers.

Negative experience: Imagine asking for a fade and getting your hair absolutely butchered to the point of no repair. That was the case just 30 minutes ago when I sat down in a chair for 10 minutes just to walk out with the crustiest hair cut that had me thinking Stevie Wonder himself switched occupations. Please save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else, maybe even cut your own hair because that would be a much better option.

Negative experience: This time they were very rushed. Just wanted to close up. Did not cut my hair evenly all over. Had to request them to do it. Won't go back there.

Negative experience: It was a nightmare for me to get haircut from you guys, the guy who is cutting my hairs have no atticates how to talk to customer and if you did something wrong accept it instead of saying rudely that you can cut whole hairs of head which was seriously a wrong comment that guy did instead of acting oversmart just listen what customer say and do as they want not satisfies with service at all
