Negative experience: I'm 30 year old,worst hair cut experience in my 30 years ,1.the guy is in a hurry for some stuffs ,so he didn't listen me,he didn't clean the hair comb ,trimmer I found someone hairs ,he didn't bother about that after the hair cut he didn't clean the hairs ,after in ask him for trim my bears he was tell some meaning reson . So I just walk away from there.im not spreading hate ,please guys don't take a risk

Fantastic experience: Really good haircuts at Zil Barbers in Johnsonville. I’ve been getting my haircuts there for about 7 years now, and they are always in line to meet my requests. All staff are highly skilled. Whenever I walk in, I’m confident I’ll get a great haircut regardless of who’s cutting my hair. Super affordable as well, especially compared to some of the other high prices with barbers in Wellington at the moment. I highly recommend.

Negative experience: I stopped coming to Zil Barbers. They either don't listen or don't care about their level of service. They had one female barber who was excellent, she has gone. If I ask for a buzz cut you need to pass over in several directions to get all hair. They don't bother. The only reason they don't get one star is because they have not cut me and drawn blood.

Negative experience: Requested for a low fade but he trimmed completely to the level and claimed that to be it. The lethargy and the carefree attitude didn’t help much either. I wouldn’t visit this barber as I wasn’t happy with the outcome.

Negative experience: Terrible haircut. I can do better myself. It’s all uneven and it’s not really what I asked for. There used to be a couple of other workers that used to be there that were fantastic, but this place is no longer any good.

The guys was not at all interested in listening to what haircut i want, and was in some kind of hurry or something and just did not pay attention to what haircut i wanted. Even during the cutting, no matter what i said he just wanted to do a haircut what he knows . left me with a untidy, uneven and pathetic haircut. wont go there again, and wont recommend others to go here.

Negative experience: Worst haircut i’ve ever had. No straight lines. A messed up a fade. Everything went wrong. He did not take care of my hair or even try to copy the video of the hair style I wanted. Would like a refund or a recut of my hair.

Negative experience: went in today and specifically told the barber i wanted a little trim and showed him twice how much i i wanted off one before the cut and one before he went to trim the top and he proceeded to not listen and cut half my hair pretty disappointing as i cant even style it how i want to now got charged 35 dollars was in and out in 10 min

Negative experience: Stay away!!! They messed up my sons hair completely!! I am going to have to take him to another barber to salvage what we can! We asked for a fade and they gave him an uneven buzcut and left everything long at the top!! They are not qualified to be cutting hair!!!

I asked for trim and fades, they did only one side the other was uneven did even faded the back of the head. Never going back there

Negative experience: Walked in, made eye contact with the barber who was on his phone on a call. Proceeded to wait, guy didn't even come off the phone the whole time or say a word to me. Place was empty other than him. Wonder why ....

Negative experience: My experience there was beyond disappointing. The barber barely spent two minutes on my hair, and the result was a mess that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Not only was the haircut rushed, but it was also completely uneven and lacked any semblance of style. It felt like the barber couldn't wait to get me out of the chair. I left feeling frustrated and embarrassed by the lack of attention to detail. Save yourself the time and money, and steer clear of Zil Barbers. It's not worth the risk of walking out with a CLAPPED haircut. I mean like was the guys even trying? like bro i would rather have had a 3 year old done it than whoever was on shift that day bru. Negative experience: literally the worst haircut i have probably gotten. one side of my head is completely uneven and he did the job in about 5 minutes, such poor and lazy work. getting charged $30 for something that took a couple minutes is outrageous and i'm never going there again. he didnt even finish the back of my head and I had to get another barber in jville that I know well to fix it up for me. apparently some guys have only been working there for 3 weeks! so unprofessional its embarrassing

Negative experience: Asked for an undercut and fade on the side. The guy rushed through the cut, taking the whole side of as well as a patch on the top. Had to go to another shop to fix it, and now I walk around with a cap.

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointing Experience Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I recently took my son to Johnsonville Salon for a haircut, and I must say, it was an incredibly disappointing experience. I had shown the hairdresser a picture of the style we wanted before the haircut, but unfortunately, the end result was nothing like it. My son was in tears when he saw his hair, and it was evident that the initial cut was a complete disaster. Another hairdresser attempted to fix it, but it only made matters worse. The final outcome was far from what we had expected and hoped for. We were left deeply dissatisfied with both the haircut and the overall experience. It's unfortunate when a simple trip to the salon turns into such a distressing ordeal. I strongly advise caution when considering this salon for your hair care needs, as our experience was far from satisfactory.

Negative experience: WORST BARBERS IN WELLINGTON - DO NOT GO HERE!!! Firstly the barbers are mute, they don't say a word to you nor do they even listen to you when you ask for a certain cut. They have no idea how to fade at all and if you ask for a little or a lot off the top it's all the same to them and they cut your entire head in 2mins or less because they have no idea what they are doing. No wet hair scissor cut or anything, they simply get the scissors on dry hair and start chopping without brushing your hair or wetting it and parting it. After the cut there is clearly a mess of long and short hairs on top of the head and an uneven fade but they don't notice it and even when paying and leaving they still don't say a word to you. Actually the most useless barber business ever.

Negative experience: Terrible cut. Terrible service. Clearly rushed through the cut (despite no one else waiting) and didn’t speak a word. Although he was happy answer his phone and talk to someone else mid cut. When I tried to mentioned what I wanted during the cut (some extra off the top), the barber shrugged it off and didn’t listen. Will not return and would not recommend.

I hadn't had a haircut for about a year and a half, and I had finally decided I'd let it go since it was just becoming a pain at that point, and I wasn't the biggest fan of the way it looked. I showed the person a picture of what I roughly wanted, and he ended up giving me something the was not anything like what I had asked for and was basically just a bowlcut at that point. My hair probably won't be looking good again for atleast a few months. Save your money and go somewhere that won't ruin your hair.

Negative experience: One barber takes his time, the other's in a rush despite no one waiting. I got the rush guy. Under three minutes for a cut and lots of random long hairs were missed, so now I need to trim them myself.

Negative experience: Worst Hair Cut Ever. i asked for a simple skin fade finger length texture cut with scragly parts only cut off the beard, left with a full shaven beard, god awful skin fade and no remorse from the barber, NEVER GO HERE EVER.

Negative experience: I went there on monday and experienced terrible haircutting experience which i never had before, the guy on the right handside was very rough and didnot care that might hurt his harshness to the customer, he left couple of marks on my forehead and some at my back of the head. Overall bad experience, please calm yourself and be gentle.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this barber to anyone. No care at all was taken while it was being cut and the lack of skill was apparent. Instead of walking out with a nice clean cut, It was a very rushed job with my partner noticing a small bold spot on the back of my head

Positive experience: It's the cheap place for good reason. I've had three haircuts here, and each one has been uneven. Others don't notice though. It's an express outfit and the barbers are rapid. They don't comb up when using a number three, so each haircut I've had, around the number 3 area you find long hairs which avoided the haircut altogether. Other barbers comb up and clip to find all the hairs, but thats a $40 barber in the city thing isn't it. So I just expect to trim them myself when I go. So for me it's a backup. $25.

Fantastic experience: This is what I look for in a barber, yeah they arent the best but for the price they are insanely quick and do quite a good job for the price. Yeah I could go to another place and pay $60+ dollar and sit there for almost an hour and get a 10/10 detailed haircut but these guys do pretty much almost the same job in 10 minutes. In and out quick and easy. a couple times they will mess up my beard when doing my fade where my hair begins by shaving a side like 2cm lower on one side than the other but it grows back quick so thats not that much of a concern.
