Negative experience: Had a clipper cut recently. Cost is now $20 for about 10 minutes in the chair. Have been getting my hair cut here for 10 years. Now will be looking elsewhere. I bet you are losing out on people coming in for cuts especially older men.

Positive experience: Used to be so good. Not so much lately and price increase from $14 to $20 for a simple buzz cut that turned out poorly. Time to go elsewhere after 30years

Fantastic experience: This is the best barbers shop in town. They open at 7.30am and if you choose your day right you are in and out without too long a wait. Today I had the luxury of allowing someone who had come in after me the opportunity to go first as I was still shedding my jacket. They have enough barbers on staff that there is never a long wait, except during school holidays. I highly recommend these guys.

Positive experience: I usually receive good service. However, some of the barbers/stylists don’t give a decent haircut or beard trim, and I often need to tidy up their work when I get home. The older lady can be a bit grumpy and struggles to see what she’s cutting.

Fantastic experience: Have taken my son (10) here a few times. I find the barbers are friendly and generally good with kids. They get through the waiting customers at a quick pace and the seating for waiting is quite comfortable. Price is standard for a boys hair cut these days. Parking can be a pain at certain times of the day on Victoria ave, but plenty out front when it’s not peak traffic. Modern inside and clean too.

Negative experience: Great cut and all but the hair dresses asked me about my holiday. I told her I was going to see my grandparents (haven’t seen them in afew years) and she basically proceeded to tell me that they would’ve gone of there rocka and they would be in ill health. Not impressed

Fantastic experience: Best place in town for a hair cut. Plenty of chairs so you don't have to long a wait. Very popular place so even if it looks busy you know it won't take long for your turn. I only get a number 2 so I'm not in the chair for long. You don't get charged an arm and a leg either. Upgrade of shop a few years back 200% better than what it use to be. Only issue is that it is in a busy part of town and parking can be a problem.

The barber was super patient and understanding and worked really well with the situation he was given. The barber also told us if in a day or two there was a need for a tidy up, to pop back in. We were super happy with the service, effort and understanding.

Personally, a little disappointed, my barber didn't chit chat much... tried starting conversations many times which was a no go. Negative experience: The haircuts can be good or bad depending on the person giving the haircut. I had a rear occurrence with one of the employees where she was very rude. Another occurrence was when i was told the haircut would cost $13 and after the haircut he said it took to long and charged me $18. Some of the employees also dont understand me when i describe what i want done to my hair which really does annoy me when the pretend to understand.

Fantastic experience: I took my ASD son for a hair cut yesterday & the lady was absolutely fabulous with him, checked to make sure clippers wernt too loud or too sharp for him & was over all so considerate of his sensories, used the hair dryer to blow the hair off him as well. The only place we go for hair cuts in Palmerston North.

Positive experience: Nobody greeting you as you walk in, and a slightly strange vibe, though the people I spoke to were pleasant, if not a little busy. Hair looked alright when I was in there but some parts were cut far too short for me to style how I'd told the person I style my hair. Also more expensive than my regular place. Went there on a recommendation, so perhaps I just got unlucky that time.. I probably won't be returning.

Haircuts are not shampooed like in a traditional hairdessing shop which means you are in and out quickly. No appointments are necessary. Just grab a seat (if you can find one) and wait for service. 5 chairs means you won't be waiting long.
