Negative experience: Review – 1/5 I had an appointment booked for 11:00am on March 13. I arrived on time and, after walking in, was asked if I had a booking. I confirmed my 11:00am appointment and was told to take a seat, which I did. There were four chairs and three barbers, but only one person was getting a haircut, with myself and another customer waiting. Shortly after I sat down, a barber came out and called the other waiting customer, even though I had the booked appointment. At the same time, the third barber walked out saying he needed to move his car (around 11:05am). I continued to wait and was told someone would attend to me, but by 11:20am I was still waiting with no clear communication or effort to honour my booking, so I decided to leave. Unfortunately, the customer service was extremely poor. The experience felt more like a boys’ club than a professional barbershop that respects customers’ time and bookings. Very disappointing experience — I would not recommend this barbershop.

Fantastic experience: This is my first time in New Zealand. It's my first time to get a haircut in barber. The hairdresser I booked was B Cutz. At first, I was a little nervous and didn't know if the cut effect would meet my expectations. After B Cutz took the initiative to understand my haircut needs with me, 15 minutes later, B Cutz took the mirror. Show me the cut effect, which is 98% consistent with the effect picture I provided, which is very shocking. Before, I lived in Shanghai, China. The hairdresser cut my short hair with the same effect. It took 40 minutes at the earliest, and generally it took 60 minutes, while B Cutz only took 15 minutes to achieve the same effect. Next, I went to B Cutz for a haircut in New Zealand. If my friends around me have If necessary, I will also recommend a haircut in your store, a particularly surprising haircut experience. Negative experience: The owner is rude. Was told to turn the phone down was too loud and he couldn't hear his music. Trying to keep my young son entertained. Made an appointment and was told only the junior barber cuts children's hair. Would not recommend this place for young kids haircuts. Junior barber Chris is awesome but always busy.

Positive experience: My elderly friend and I walked past and she looked at the sign and said "Ladies haircuts oh I might as well go in and get a haircut!" and I quickly corrected her with the word 'Lads' . It did look like it was short for ladies. Thought I'd share incase other potential customers interpreted it the same and walked on by . Maybe add a male figure-head symbol beside the word 'lad' to make it obvious.
