Fantastic experience: I didn't book, just chanced a walk-in. Definitely wise booking though. Very friendly and welcoming experience with a quality cut to gp with it. The only place I've been to in years that actually cleans their trimmers after every cut!! No stupid rash! Definitely worth traveling to if you're not local.

Negative experience: Been here twice now both times with a reference of what I’m looking for. First time I came in for a modern mullet with messy length in the back and a textured fringe. I was given wafer thin bulk in the back and all my length was cut, and my fringe was turned into a quiff, it honestly felt as if they had intentionally given me a terrible hair cut. Second time my reference was even a older video of myself, guy took not even a ten second look at the video then pretty much gave me a skin fade all around my head and short fringe when my reference had about two or three centimetres of messy length in the back and a textured fringe. I wouldn’t recommend coming here it’s obvious they’re just trying to turn over customers as fast as possible, there’s no love for the craft, they don’t discuss what you want or your preference of how you wear or style your hair, then they expect the high premium of $45 as a starting price for a haircut.

Negative experience: The apprentice currently assisting was rude, unprofessional, combative and did a poor job. The manager attempted to help resolve twice with little to no improvement and the apprentice continuing to be rude. Will not be returning again.

Negative experience: Time tables shows closing at 5pm, turned up with my son at 4pm, one customer getting a cut and no one waiting, was told we're closing soon can't take more customers. It is ok for people to leave work early for any reason, a note on the door to inform customers would be good instead of basically asking them to leave the shop.

Fantastic experience: Incredibly great business! Sebastian gets to know your hair well! So well, after time he'll know what you want. The cuts look smart, and does a stunning job on your hair. Not only that but he does a great job getting to know you personally! Which you don't see with most barbers theses days, Sebastian is great to talk to aswell. Especially about his faith which is great! I only hope to wish to find such a great barber when I go to America! I highly reccomend Sebastian for those looking for fine and good work aswell as a welcoming environment. I wish his business well! I hope to vist again in a few years time!

Fantastic experience: Sebastian's is the go to for all and anything beards in New Plymouth, they did the most amazing job with my beard, I am just so cuffed with the result, they understand what it means to have a beard and the love a man has for his beard, I left feeling on top of the world, and I looked share. A must for anyone who has a beard or needs a manover. You will leave feeling like a new man.

One of the best haircut I have got in a long time and funny thing is I don't have to explain him in complex numbers how I want my hair cut, he just have a extraordinarily barber skill who can understand the demand of the customer. And one of the best customer service experience as well. I would highly recommend if you can drive for 5min extra, every bit of your time will worth it. Don't take my words just give it a try. Will go back every time I need a haircut.
