Fantastic experience: Awesome staff and great pricing.

Negative experience: Have had great haircuts in the past from the young guy but last time i had the middle aged short guy who decided to judge me hard when i told him the previous haircut i had done, He turned to the lady with coloured hair and i saw her roll her eyes. I was a regular customer until this experience, plenty of other barbers around.

Fantastic experience: I got my young fella the best hair cut. Great service and prices. And he got hit on by a Sheila straight after his haircut

Negative experience: Appalling service from female. Regularly come here for our little mans haircut and have always had impeccable service from the men. This woman was extremely sarcastic when asked about getting my son a fade haircut. Replied if you are fussy then this isnt the place for you. Was rude to my son when he hopped on the chair. He was very upset and uncomfortable. Ended up removing him from chair and walked out. Disgusting.

Fantastic experience: With the car in for a service, decided to head into Pero's for a hair and beard trim. Great banter, personable barber, did a solid job doing the exact cut I asked for. (I had been sporting the "mountain man" look for months). Happy with the result, will be back next month

Negative experience: utter rubbish , barber wasnt paying attention , did the fastest haircut i ever had and spent the whole time talking pretty loud to another seated customer , he totally ignored me , heres a tip for all you barbers , either talk to the guys hair you are cutting or shut up , its a pretty easy choice , my wife had to fix the haircut when i get home

Fantastic experience: My grandson had his first haircut here . The lady hairdresser was absolutely fantastic, talked to him told him what was happening made him feel special and grown up Listened to how I wanted his hair , did a really good cut making sure I was happy with it. This was 3 years ago and my grandson goes to her still regularly and totally looks forward to seeing his lady hairdresser every time !! Totally worth every penny !! Recommend any young man needing his first cut or any cut if you want quality . Also a big bonus was she was happy as for me to take photos and video as we do❤️

Negative experience: Not a place to go to. Never give you what you want only give what they feel is best for you there haircuts are to quick for my liking which makes me feel like it’s a half pie job that was done quick. Never going back again

Negative experience: Shocking quality for such a basic (No.4 all over) cut. Sideburns didn’t get trimmed and around the ears not shaped. Tufts of hair remained… I asked the young man to spend a bit more time to tidy up what had been done, which was attempted… but still not the quality I had expected from Pero’s.

I wasted my money on 3 horrible haircuts and poor service for my boys and don't want you to suffer the same mistake.... AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!

Negative experience: I asked for an undercut. Bro rolled his eyes and gave me the jankiest bowl cut I've ever seen. I could have done a better and more even job myself with the kitchen scissors. Ended up shaving my head, it was that bad!

Negative experience: Awful service from all staff working in store today. They were grumpy and rude, terrible with kids who were nervous to be having their haircut. Didn’t even attempt to hide their bad attitudes.

Negative experience: Shocking reception this morning just before 9am. I walked into Pero's and no one was visible in the shop. I said "hello" and a guy appeared from behind the corner. Thinking the shop may not have been open I asked if the shop was open. The guy pointed at the door and said "What do you think"? I was a bit taken back but thought he was joking so I tried to explain that I thought I may have been early and perhaps caught him trying to prepare to open up. He then said you can see the door is open and the flag is outside. Thats when I realized he was being serious. I picked up my coat and said forget this. He then said you ask stupid questions. I have been to Pero's on numerous occasions for myself and with my son and had pleasant experiences. Pity one chap acting badly has caused me to take the time out of my day to post this but if I was the owner and other potential customers, I would want to know.

Negative experience: Went for a buzz cut, the lady did my hair didn’t even care about the details just trim all the hair and tell me it’s done, I didn’t even sit down for 5 minutes, I asked her could you please tidy up the side abit, she said oh I don’t do that. I went home wash my hair and see my hair is so unevenly trimmed. Worst haircut experience ever. Highly not recommend this barber shop, not even worthy for $22.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. Short guy (owner or manager) was grumpy, didn’t listen and cut my hair miles too short on top after I specifically said (and showed him) just a tiny but off the top. Lazy, used the razor instead of scissors for the top trim which lead to a much shorter cut cause he just didnt give a F. Ive been here several times just due to convenience and every time he doesnt listen and cuts way too short. Thought id give it one last try, safe to say that was definitely the last try.

Negative experience: Dont even bother going in. I should have read the reviews first before even stepping foot in there. How are they even still operating? Zero greetings. Zero smiles. Zero customer service. Should of walked out but lucky my son was desperate for a haircut because he has school tomorrow. Otherwise we would have went elsewhere. The lady with the purple hair needs to learn how to smile when customers walk through the door, or maybe get a new job where no one has to see her face. She just stared us when we walked in...And continued sweeping the floor...rude... Didnt even say anything...wasnt welcoming at all. Wont be going back!!

Negative experience: My 2 boys went in for a haircut at Pareos barber at the base, and both haircuts are not what they asked for, they wanted a zero to one box fade, the lady said she didn't know how to box fade so the guy said they will only do a number 2 fade! What they got isn't even a fade! The lady was very rude to my son's telling them to hurry up. These boys are 13, they didn't get what they asked they still charged $25 they walked out with botched haircuts! highly would not recommend this place at all! If we didn't live so far away and was there at the time I would go back and get my boys hard earned money back!

Negative experience: I’m sorry but the two old men that cut hair, if you can’t keep up with time and adapt to new styles you need a new career. Be straight up if you can’t do the style the customer request then don’t do it!! Don’t try wing it and do something totally different and expect people to just accept it!! Negative experience: Absolutely appalling service, terrible cut. Asked for a fade and did not get a fade, asked for a comb over and the parting was crooked, unevenly cut around the sides also. The comb over was unevenly shortened leaving my sons hair noticeably crooked and leaving him ashamed now he wears a hood to cover it up. Would NOT recommend this "barber".

Negative experience: Been a few times and usually the staff are good but today we came across a very rude and arrogant staff member who was very rough when combing my sons hair and didn’t listen to what we asked for. For that reason we won’t be back.

Negative experience: Racist Barbers and unprofessional service. I have been there twice and second time I have been treated so badly that I just left without getting a haircut. Both time the barbers were different and both of them were so nice to white customers and as soon as my turn comes they became rude and making me feel I don't belong there. The barber finished with the first guy (he was a white guy), they were talking nicely to each other. Once finished, the barber didn't even bothered to clean the chair before calling me and his face expression was so clear that he just don't wanna cut my hair. I just wanted to get the side trimmed and not the top and the barber told me he won't tell me the price of haircut until he finishes it and I thought that's unfair, so I left and I could hear him swearing at me while telling the other employee about what happened. Maybe they should put a sign on FOR WHITE PEOPLE ONLY.

Negative experience: The barber was rude, rough with my hair. Seemed like he had never dealt with African hair. Worst fade ever, not even on the sides, not central as well. When I asked him to box it he pretty much did a Nike tick coz thats how straight it was. I had to go to my regular barber so she could FIX it. Felt very ripped off when I paid. Fair to say I'm not going back again.
