Fantastic experience: Best barber shop I've been to so far. I needed a number 1 buzz cut. The barber that cut my hair was really good and even got a hot towel at the end. Definitely go back to this one. Even recommended some beard products as I'm growing out the beard

I was wandering around & looking for 1 year now, finding a new and good hair cutter in HAMILTON, who makes cissors-cut and understands a cut with "complete balanced shape", and matching to the age of the customer.... I found him: Carlie... who altered my head instantly, quick & easy = as I wished and finished with my fully satisfaction/happiness, I will be back, in future, and let only him touching my head/hairs... Fantastic experience: I didn’t catch my barbers name, but he was so good, (white dude, top performer in the franchise). So fast but also best hair cut I’ve had.

Negative experience: I showed a photo and TikTok reference for a scissor cut and agreed to the higher price. The haircut took about 15 minutes and when I asked for it shorter all around, I was told it would cost double to redo because he had cut it to the picture. The barber also mentioned my hair thinning several times being the issue and tried to sell me products. I was charged the normal rate but won’t return.

Fantastic experience: The team at this store always do a great job on my teenage son's hair - always taking the time to get a perfect result no matter how busy the waiting room. Tonight we had a hiccup with the booking but Jacob found the time and made a lovely job at the end of a busy day. Kudos to all the lads there!

Negative experience: Very disappointed with my sons haircut, not sure if we had an apprentice, but the young guy on Friday was shown a picture my son provided of what he wanted, and to be fair this chap did something that didn’t look anything like it, also hit his fringe with a buzz razer which I have never seen before - the cut was an absolute shocker that we had to go elsewhere on Saturday to get it fixed to somewhat looked presenterable, certainly not worth the $50 and then $40 to fix it the next day - avoid is my advise.

Fantastic experience: I had a great barber, nice guy to talk to, and gave a solid haircut, listen to what I explained and wanted, and delivered exactly that. Great vibe in the shop, which goes along way. Will definitely be back.

Negative experience: I came in and had the female barber. I Asked for a Iow taper fade with a 1 on the sides, and to thin out and take half an inch off the top. She proceeded to take more out of my hair and also butchered my fringe when I specifically asked if she could texture it so it wasn’t so straight. At the end of the haircut I didn’t complain because I don’t like confrontation. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been more satisfied after a haircut than when i left here. I got exactly what I wanted, but even better. Amazing work by the barber and really good service. I can’t recommend going here enough.

Negative experience: I asked the female hairdresser to do my haircut the same she did it last time like she cut it good last time and she didnt reconize me so i trusted her an she like cut all my hair off messed it up hating my haircut atm an i dont think ill go back there again soz for the rant can tell im in a bad mood i love me hair a little bit too much i think but uggh messed me man.

Fantastic experience: Son wasn't keen to go here but after getting his hair done he said he will never go anywhere else again. Fast cut, listened to what was wanted and early opening to allow before school cut was great.

Fantastic experience: Got a nice hair cut from the Grace Street shop today. Mobile app is really helpful getting the appointment before arrival. Update: This has been my usual place for a haircut. The queue in the app really helps to avoid unexpected delays.

Fantastic experience: We were driving down from Auckland. Booked through the app. It was great. Only a 8 min wait. Son prefers this lace as they get his done right.

Fantastic experience: Kale did a wicked job completely changing up my nephew's hair who really wasn't sure what he wanted. Went from a kid who didn't want to get his hair cut to saying he can't wait to come back is so cool! He says Thank you Kale!

Negative experience: After waiting for an hour, I finally got my haircut, only to deal with a staff member who refused to admit their mistakes. When I pointed out a visible line in the fade, they argued there was no issue and even had the audacity to ask, ‘Are you a barber?’ Absolutely unprofessional. This is a business with staff who try to shut you down when you give feedback about your haircut, just because they’re nearing the end of their shift.

Fantastic experience: Hey guys, I'm so glad I listened to my daughter and found a barber who knew how to work with long, wavy hair and who could achieve this look. I love my new hairstyle and I'll certainly be back in the future to do touch ups! Thank you for the awesome customer service and for making me feel welcomed! ☺️

Negative experience: Just super slow. Two barbers with two people ahead of me and waited well over an hour. The cuts in front of me were super basic as well. Shop is clean though, heaps of cafes around. Fades I seen done weren’t bad just average. Was recommended by ChatGPT

Positive experience: As a first time customer I felt like this place IS the best place in Hamilton to get your fresh haircut. The app as well makes it very handy to book yourself in while your doing errands with a notification of at least 30 mins to make sure your at your appointment on time. Parking can be a wee tricky as it is a busy road however the staff and the atmosphere makes this place for me the BEST in Hamilton for a haircut by far also gives that little cherry on top at the end with a hot towel to finish. Afterpay is available here too. I’m thoroughly happy with the work that was done on me so thank you very much @BarberShopCo Hamilton East for a solid job. Can definitely say I will be back for sure .

Fantastic experience: Great service where the barbers handle their customers with a lot of care. I appreciate their new queueing system as it keeps track of everyone who's waiting. I've been to a few barbers in Hamilton but this shop is where I've had the best experience every time. Would always recommend this shop, and they do really good fades!

Fantastic experience: Jacob cut my hair, and the guy knows his stuff. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail assured me I was in good hands. I showed him a picture of the cut I wanted, to which he offered several variations on the style, explained what those would look like, and gave his recommendation on which variation he thought would suit my hair type best. He talked me through each step of the process (something that not all barbers bother to do), so I was always informed of what he was doing and why. The result was exactly what I asked for — maybe better. Superb experience overall. An easy 5 stars.
