Negative experience: Sadly this will not be the barber I take my kids too anymore, I get kids are difficult and stuff but the chance wasn’t even given, I’ve come her and bought my kids for years now, all my boys various ages loved getting there haircuts here. I’ve been given the name Bilal as the person who I was dealing with an his customer service and clear experience level is not good enough at all. Unfortunate. He ignored us and then refused the cut because my little boy had alittle cry when he first sat down. No chance given not impressed.

Negative experience: They can do proper clean fades at the chartwell store HOWEVER if they offer you texture powder do NOT accept it as the barbers put way way way too much to the point where your hair could get damaged aswell it’s genuinely ridiculous and there was litterslly a white coating on the top of my hair , that was how much the barber put into my hair. Additionally all the barbers will use a blow dryer on your hair even if you didn’t ask them to, till the point where your scalp starts getting extremely hot which would further add to hair damage. If the barbers would relax on the quanity of texture powder they put into your hair and actually ask if you want your hair to get dried and stuff my rating would be a lot higher.

Negative experience: Just want to add my feedback here. If anyone wants to have a razor cut or machine trim cuts, must visit them. BUT if anyone wants a medium length hair cut, PLEASE STAY AWAY. They have ruined my son’s haircut completely . Barber guys, if you Don’t understand the hair cut, Please say NO to the customer instead of ruining someone’s style.

Negative experience: PART1: At 10:42am my 6 year old sons hair was cut in a style he didn't ask for he asked for a fade, never got it also the framing cut around son's face was crooked, thankfully the owner cut it. But he did ask if it was done here,I said yes and pointed at the tall guy who did it. I then showed him payment I made yesterday he said he believed me. He continued to cut sons hair then we were offered a free product because I didn't write a bad review. My son started saying"my head is stinging I had a look and he has two slice marks from the blade and then they started speaking in their language we pretty much get told here's your cash I said what about the free product the guy says arrogantly"he opted for the refund " I thought oh not even want to care for cutting my son's face,those blades are not cleaned after every client so it could become infected what happens there?. We walked out and never to return again. So let down because we actually enjoy when the Indian guy is there on Tuesdays and just let down from basically standing up for ourselves when we should have. Refund is cool but you cut my son's face THERE IS NOW A PART 2 WHERE THE OWNER RESPONDED OH SO NICELY AND ASKED ME TO MESSAGE ON INSTAGRAM SO HE COULD SORR SOMETHING OUT LOL BECAUSE THE BRIBE OF FREE HAIR PRODUCT DIDNT WORK HE PANICKED WHEN HED REALISED HED CUT INTO MY SONS HEAD IN 3 SPOTS. In the last screenshot of messages he said my son wasn't even in pain calling then he deleted the message Would definitely never recommend this barber at all! PART2: So the owner Omar Asks me to message him on Instagram saying he will sort something out to look good on google reviews yet to be asked how he can help I said how he could help my son and I in ways of compensation for cutting into my son's head in 3 places which was fuel cost to replace my fuel I had to use to go back to correct his workers terrible job. And because they couldn't even say sorry for hurting my son even though he was saying to him (guy in the product shop)he was in pain and didn't give the free gel he said we could have atleast had an apology but because you want to be a prick in private message and not be transparent and threaten to blast me on your fb page to see who's right. Very upset mum and son! My son really loved your shop until his experience yesterday rude, immature and I'm sure health and safety would love to hear about this. Enjoy your Christmas

The barbershop is always clean and tidy, and has a nice modern feel to it. The hair cuts are always great and my boys leave feeling a million bucks

Negative experience: Barber was in too much rush to cut the hair. Low quality sharp edge clippers scratched my neck badly. Burning sensation on neck stayed for a week after hair cut.

Negative experience: Hi, I just rated my experience in had at the shop please don’t take it personally. Firstly, I asked the barber for a low fade but he went too far with it i think he wasn’t understanding English. He was cutting my hair and looking somewhere else i think that might be problem and pretty fast. And i had a bead trim as well, the trimmer he used was very bad quality and bitting my skin. I asked him to change it but all of them were same i guess. I was left with bruised and rashes on the neck. I don’t really agree with you that i go around and give people bad ratings. I just rated the experience i had and i think I have every right to do so. At the end, nothing personal buddy. Cheers

Negative experience: I took my son to get his hair done. The barber rushed so much, left scratches all around his neck and forehead. I asked them to fix the "box" as it was crooked and the barber seemed annoyed and said initially that it was not crooked. We returned to fix it within minutes as my son was not happy and the other barber agreed it was crooked and tried to fix it. Overall the cut was uneven and Very dissapointing.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. Our regular barber was unavailable so we had no choice but to seek another barber for my kids. Decided to try this place & disappointed immediately. You walk in nobody greets you & they just stare. Here's a tip, if you want your business to attract regular clients, customer service is key! Greet people, make them feel welcome & don't just stare. We decided to leave and take our money elsewhere.

Negative experience: Went to this barber for a simple short back and sides. Young guy doing my hair had no idea what he was doing. Had to be guided by me and ended up cutting it too short and uneven. To make matters worse he was video calling a relative who tried to strike up conversation with me DURING the hair cut. Completely inappropriate.

Negative experience: Friendly enough service and fast at cutting hair. My complaint is to do with my beard. I specifically asked for minimal length and a tidy up/trim (just the wiry bits trimmed). The barber proceeds to take most of my length and weight out of my beard, burns me with the hair dryer and doesn’t use a lubricant when using a razor blade to do the edges. Why is it so hard to get a barber to trim your beard with care?!

Negative experience: My partner had an uncomfortable and unsatisfactory experience at this shop, and he would not recommend. Barber shaved facial hair even when he declined the offer and then was still charged even though my partner clearly said no to this being done. Barber badly cut mole on neck resulting in a bit of bleeding, and my partner was unaware until he noticed he had stained his shirt. Barber was rushed and covered my partners whole face with his hand - was an uncomfortable experience for him. Was not asked before putting mousse in hair, which still has not come out after washing with shampoo.

Negative experience: I Visited today with my partner, there were three men in the salon 2 cutting hair and 1 behind the counter. We Weren’t greeted whatsoever, we attempted to inquire for help and the man just pointed at the price board with no words or elaboration which was disappointing as my partner hasn’t been to a barber in years and we were feeling quite unsure of the process etc and were given next to no help. My partner was then treated poorly whilst talking through what he would like to be done to his hair, the man was shaking his head at my partner and wasn’t listening to his requests properly. Therefore my partner asked to leave, and we walked out of the shop. This was a really unpleasant visit
