Fantastic experience: The barber was extremely friendly, skilled, and efficient. The shop was clean and comfortable, and he kept checking my hair throughout the cut to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted. He paid close attention to the details and carefully refined the style until I was completely satisfied. I’m very happy with the result and would highly recommend this place. Negative experience: I came all the way from Johnsonville to get a haircut and found out the guy I booked is not available today. I think they could atleast inform me through text about it. The guy who gave me the haircut tried his best but it wasn’t great. I wanted lines on my beard and found out this guy cant do lines so it was pretty disappointing.

Negative experience: I am very dissatisfied. I specifically asked the barber to not cut my hair too short and first thing he did was literally chop off more than half the length of my fringe. I’m definitely switching barbers. If you want a barber that actually listens to your instructions do not go here.

Fantastic experience: Was seen on a walk in basis, and I wish I could give a bad review, but I can’t. This has been the second time ive had the same barber and he’s 1 of the best I’ve come across in the last few years. When you have had the same style for last decade, you get to see how differently it can be done, and how organized the barber is. Even when there was another customer waiting, I wasn’t rushed, I received the same care and attention to detail as if I was the only customer there, but the cut didn’t drag out. Hopefully the barber I saw today will be around for a while yet.

Negative experience: This man’s services weren’t as what I had hoped. I do believe that the trim I recieved was way overpriced. Also some of the younger barbers he has don’t know what they are doing. I have tried all of the barbers in the area and found house of handsome to give me the better haircut but that is just my Opinion.

Have been a few times and been served by a few different staff and they’re all lovely and do a nice job. Honestly the best barber I’ve been to in Wellington. No awkwardness form the staff and the shop feels very homely and vibrant. Also the pool table is a nice touch too!

I work with young people and who have intellectual disabilities and are Neurodiverse, and they keep telling me they need to get back to Midnight Barber - due to feeing welcomed, accommodated! Negative experience: I found my experience to be subpar for the amount of money I paid. I was cut by a trainee barber, and made to clean up after myself for $40.

I was really exhausted for work so wasn't feeling social, hence I've missed out on his name. However, I'll definitely be a supporting regular from now on and repost about him again in the future. The style I asked for isn't something you can rush, if anything most barbers just do quick fades that look and feel more like a mullet. This barber on the other hand, knew all the tricks of trade to establish the hairstyle I showed him. So service is second to none with an absolute legend of a price, definitely suggest tipping $10 minimum. Last but not least, would be the sight of seeing his loyal customer's giving back to him. Seen a young man come in and give the barber a iced coffee of sorts. Absolute living legend, both of them. Bless him and his family forever. I encourage all men to go out of their way to meet and experience the master cutter! You'll never regret it!
