8 months ago Negative experience: Last week I had a really bad experience at this salon. I went in for a haircut, but the result was terrible. My hair was not done properly, and my skin was even hurt during the process. The barber rushed through everything in just 7–10 minutes and never asked me if I was happy with the cut. When I went to pay, he stared at my PIN, which made me very uncomfortable. Overall, this was a horrible experience with both the salon and the barber. I will NEVER come back!

10 months ago Negative experience: This worst hair cut by a male barber that I have ever had. After struggling for ages trying to express the length I wanted my hair cut to and finding it very hard because of the barber's poor English skills, he promptly grabbed his scissors and cut into my hair several inches shorter than I wanted while saying "so this is where you want it cut". He then 'finished' my hair cut but the other side was 2 inches shorter again, so it was extremely lopsided. When I asked for it to be evened up the barber had to hand over to another barber to even it properly.So my hair is 4 to 5 inches shorter than i clearly and repeatedly specified I wanted it to be. Normally males, unlike females, are good at cutting your hair exactly how you want, not in this case. I also got absolutely no response or empathy whatsoever when I expressed that I wasn't happy.

1 year ago Negative experience: The worst haircut I've ever had. I mean, he didn't even put in an effort to do it properly. The haircut was absolutely terrible and he knew. I showed them how bad it was and they didn't say anything. So clearly, feedbacks just fly over their head. The worst, absolutely worst place I've ever had a haircut. I work closely with the radio station in dunedin and I guarantee I'm bringing this up to the community. I have never, left a bad review like as I'm easily pleased and understand businesses sometimes makes mistakes, but this is horrendous and the lack of empathy after the feedback was appalling.

For the sides. lifted the right side to high compared to left and it just looks rough as guts. Go at your own risk the others might actually be quite good but who did me is not

1 year ago Negative experience: Would not recommend, the person cutting my hair proceeded to wipe there nose multiple times then run their hands through my hair during the cut. they lacked basic knowledge, never used scissors and relied on clippers for the whole cut. I have been left with long and short clumps of hair. the other staff member approached me in my car after the cut wanting a cigarette. I'm sure a sheep sheerer could have done a better job. After returning home, I've had my wife with no hair cutting experience tidy up the mess, and tomorrow I'll be heading off to get this cut fixed by someone who know what they are doing. If you appreciate your look, don't trust the owner

I went there to cut my elder son's hair and they just cut my younger one's hair that fell on his eyes free of cost. 1 year ago Negative experience: If you’re going to get your haircut here, good luck . I recently went for a hair cut and made it very clear with what i wanted. Guy cutting my hair went on a side mission and did what he wanted . Told him multiple times to stop and change what he’s doing. Didn’t listen. Could have been that he didn’t speak any English and his translator didn’t really even translate. Or that it was the last cut of the day. For the same price i would go somewhere else, will not be going back. One star rating from me.

2 years ago Fantastic experience: This is the gold standard of boys’ hair cuts for sure. Both my son and the boy before him received immaculate cuts and I have never seen kids cuts completed with so much care. The barbers engaged with me and the other boy’s dad the whole way through to ensure they got the cut right and didn’t take off too much or not enough. Very impressed. This place will be our go to.
