Fantastic experience: Ashlea took my mullet with a power rating of 5 on a good day and turned in into a solid 7 maybe 8 (the canvas wasn’t there for anything higher or I’m sure she could have produce a 10). Highly recommend talking to Ashlea if ever considering your first perm. She’s amazing.

Fantastic experience: I went in yesterday for a major haircut! I’ve had hair down to my shoulders (sometimes longer) for the past five years, and I finally decided to chop it all off. Naturally I was nervous about the whole thing, but the guy who cut my hair did a phenomenal job and left me with a great haircut! The price was very reasonable, and I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Great experience, and I cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: Booked my partner in with Charlie twice now and he does not disappoint! We had an inspo photo and Charlie still asked alot of questions on what my partner preferred as well as had his own reccomendations and the results were 10x better than the inspo! Hair Hunters is well worth the 2 hour round trip and we will 100% be back again

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant barbershop. It's the only place I go. You have your choice of barber when booking online, with pricing based on their level of experience. I always pick Brennan, and he has exceeded expectations each time I've been. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

Negative experience: Went here not long ago, barber was sloppy and cut my hair unevenly with one side being longer ( even after I asked him to even it up) and had to fix it at home, paid for a skin fade and didn't even get one, saw my barber get kicked out the club two days later. If your going here you might as well pay the higher price for the specialists, don’t risk it if you don’t want to DIY at home.

Fantastic experience: Got a haircut from Charlie before an important wedding (waitangi weekend). Was very happy with the cut and style from Charlie, good conversation in good amount of time. Chill spot, cool dude, very happy with outcome. Booked in for another cut before another wedding in march

He's an awesome guy with great chat, and I left with a big smile and feeling better than when i came in. An excellent skin fade and a fragrant hot towel for the face at the end. Though I'm from Auckland and only visiting for a mate's wedding, if I lived here, I'd definitely be a regular. The barbershop has fantastic vibes all around! Highly recommend for all ☺️

Negative experience: I’ve had two hair cuts here, the first was someone who I guess was pretty new but was really inexperienced and just missed cutting parts of my hair so it was different lengths, the owner was quite nice and offered me a free haircut. (I didn’t take him up on this offer cause I was overseas for a year) Second one was a lot better but yeah still the first hair cut was not great

Negative experience: The guys are really cool and the place is really clean but the haircut wasnt good. Fade wasnt the best and this is the first time in my life that I see a barber using scissors on dry hair that has spikes I don't see how he can do something clean if the hair is in all directions.

Finn was able to take my terrible explanation and a few references photos and give me exactly what I wanted.
