Fantastic experience: My 11 year old son went to Isaac in middle street and had the best experience! Felix was friendly and kind and full of chat with my boy and gave him a great haircut ! We will definitely be back!!!

Fantastic experience: Did not get my haircut here but was having food in a restaurant beside it with my friend and dog. Someone who appeared to be a manger brought not one but two bowls of water from Fat Tony’s out to my dog. Just a really kind and lovely gesture for someone who wasn’t even a customer. Absolute gents.

Negative experience: Went in for a beard trim, yet was given a “hot towel” beard trim, went to pay and he charged me €40. For a 10 minute job. Rightly disrespectful and outrageous pricing. Don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: I want to post about Gary who works in middle street and before he was working in Newcastle . He has being so helpfull to me with my hair giving me advice what to use and how to maintain it. And on top of that he is always great to have a chat with top bloke. Very hard these days to find someone as genuine as Gary. He always cuts my hit perfect very skilled in his trade.

Fantastic experience: The lot of them are great barbers, and extremely welcoming. I've had haircuts from most of them the last couple of years and have never had a bad thing to say. Brian even sorted out a wig for me that I needed for a last minute Halloween costume!

Negative experience: I went to England back in 2016, came back during pandemics and going round all the barbers to see who's best and best price but all are well over priced. How can you justify 25 euro for a haircut that you'd get in tuam or calremorris for 10 euro. Pure rip off

Negative experience: Frosty reception just today. Have you booked was the welcome I got? I hadn't but surely slots should be reserved for travelling customers. There is restrictions and then there is extreme!! This pandemic has become a breeding ground for laziness and lack of common sense. Custom taken elsewhere.

Positive experience: This was my first time at Fat Tony's. But unfortunately it wasn't even close to the kind of rating it has on Google. The guy who cut my hair was very hospitable. However, the haircut was nowhere near to what rating Google suggested. I would stick to my old barbershop instead for my future haircuts.

Negative experience: Ive been going here for the last year and a half. I find that in the last 6 months the standard has really dropped. There is still 1 or 2 very good barbers. 3 days ago I got my hair cut by a guy I hadn't seen before and I presume is new. He charged me (a student) €17 for a very sloppy job. I can honestly say I would've done a better job myself and was very disappointed overall.

Fantastic experience: I have been getting my hair cut here for years. I've never had a bad haircut although the staff have changed over the years and you don't get to choose your barber. You just wait for the next one free. It's an old fashioned idea but they are just good barbers. They do hot shaves and beard trimming. €15 for a damn good haircut is very reasonable. I've seen all ages and styles of people leave looking satisfied. I can't fault them and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
