Negative experience: Used to have good barbers but they keep changing all the time. The usually barber I used is no longer there so used someone else; the haircut I got was uneven on the sides and too short on the top;

Fantastic experience: Great skin fade from Orwa this morning! Exactly what I asked for with a few options and check-ins along the way. Orwa was careful to give a really clean cut and styling at the end. I’ve been coming here for over a year and it’s the most reliable barbers I’ve found in Oxford. Always a nice classic barbershop vibe with chill music, free coffee, and a great cut every time. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Positive experience: Rushed. I was in an out in 12 minutes. I had high hopes after the reviews, but it did not live up to the hype. I was not made welcome, and enough care wasn't taken on the finishing touches of the cut. It felt like they were in a rush, despite no-one else waiting. Despite this, the haircut wasn't bad for 12 mins. But I would expect a higher level of care for £18. This was my first visit, and I don't believe it's good enough for a second.

Fantastic experience: Went in for first time with my friend. His hair cut, not mine in bald. I walked into New York City 1979 near the queen's Bridge. Al capone was below in the lavatory despite that being pre 79. Lol. The best music played on the speakers. I've never had such a hip vibe in a barbers. All the staff well presented. A welcome free refreshment by a charming lady. Lollipops in a bowl for kids. Did I just see Willie Wonka? All over the walls, great eye candy pictures and such. On the ceiling looks like Michelangelo had a quick razor shave too. I sat in a comfy chair watching it all happen. Am I dreaming. Nope. I promised to return for a cut throat shave on my head and face ASAP. Fabulous. Trendy. Designer. Vibrant.

Negative experience: Been here a couple of times but will not be going here again. They are very nice/polite however, they were very distracted. I would prefer if the person with a knife against my throat was not looking at the other side of the room. Also, I explicitly said "I'm here for only a trim" but they included a weird steaming system which made it very hard to breathe. I understand if this is a treatment they offer however, they should communicate that. I'm assuming this was just so they could mark up the price. Overall, paid 15 (with student discount) for a very uncomfortable experience.

Fantastic experience: My partner will always get his hair and beard done at Quirky Barbers, most time I'm there with him, and the service towards my partner is more than amazing, staff is amazing, the quality of work is perfection and the customer service is beyond any place I've been. When I'm there, they treat me with the same respect and always make sure that both me and my partner are feeling at our best. The hairstyle my partner gets there is one they chose for him and its the perfect one for him. They considered everything for him , from high, face features everything. The professionalism is beyond any. Highly recommend but know once you go there you will never go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: This is a great barber! I have been coming here for about 6 months to get a high skin fade and always happy with my haircut.

Negative experience: I'm going to get straight to the point as I'm not here to please anyone or misinform genuine customers... The worst haircut I've ever received in all my existence. I asked for a low fade and nice shape up in which in turn I received a high fade with no ACTUAL FADE. If you wish to come here expecting you're getting a 8/10 minimum haircut well minus the full 8 and that's the sort of experience you'll be getting.
