Fantastic experience: Brilliant haircut and even better customer service, highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I visited jefes for the first time today with my 2 of my sons. On first entering the shop they were extremely welcoming and very easy to talk to. My son is extremely happy with his cut and has been telling all his friends about the barbers and how they should go too. When we got home and my eldest saw the haircuts he was impressed saying he wants to try them out too. Couldn’t recommend them enough and will all definitely be returning. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Met the founder a couple of weeks back for the first time. Despite a set back on the appointment time (out of their control), his hospitality and kindness more than made up for it. A really inspirational and talented barber with a genuine passion for his craft. Will definitely return and recommend for slick trim.

Fantastic experience: Just wanna thank Leon for sorting me out today without a booking on Christmas Eve. He was fully booked but managed to squeeze me in even tho he looked extremely busy. Top bloke & great chat…more importantly high quality barber. He explained everything & made me feel really comfortable felt like I’d known him years lol. Anyone who goes out there way for a customer is always someone I wanna stick with in the long run. Al be coming where ever Leon is in the new year!! Fantastic experience: Leon cut my hair and absolutely blessed me with the trim.

Positive experience: Good barbers, not so good atmosphere. Big owner's dog is freely roaming, good thing I was comfortable with it but no one asked. Kept stepping on and moving the chair, and getting in the way of the barber. Also it doesn't feel like the people working there are a team.

Negative experience: I had an appointment with them on the 25th of October at 10 am. Came on time and in fact early, I booked with Cuba. The owner told me to go away and come back later because 10 am is not feasible for them (why would you allow people to book if it’s not). I informed him that I had to drive here to get my haircut and I paid for parking, he responded that I shouldn’t worry and that he would refund me for parking and sorry for the inconvenience (He did not pay for it or refund me). He said come back after 12pm. I came back, it’s like he didn’t even remember me and I informed him that I had booked an earlier appointment which he told me in person to come back later. Now I am here, I told him I’d like my haircut to be done by Cuba, which he refused saying there are other barbers who can cut my hair; I said no, I booked with Cuba and I’d like it to be done by whom I had booked it with. He tried strong arming me into accepting his request, I stood my ground also mostly due to the bad experiences I had with white barbers which he didn’t seem to care. The owner wanted to kick me out until Cuba knew how bad it’d look on them, so Cuba accepted my request and cut my hair around 12:45pm. I wouldn’t say that was his best work as I felt it rushed and my hairline ruined (luckily, managed to grow back now). The owner did not refund me of any parking paid by me as I had to pay 4 hours worth of parking together, if my appointment was respected, I would not have expected them to pay parking at all and it would have only been 2 hrs worth of parking I’d have used and payed for. The customer service here is terrible and the owner seems to only respect you, if you have clout. I would not recommend and I am definitely not going back. Don’t get me wrong, they have some brilliant barbers, I’ve had 2 good haircuts here previously before this incident but I would not go back after that incident. Owner is rude and not someone that cares what the customers want. I’ve attached proof of my appointment.

Fantastic experience: First time getting my hair cut at Jefes Barbers and I don’t know why I haven’t been here before!!! I was served by Kevin, who was so welcoming and chatty! We talked for the entire duration of my hair cut which made the experience even better! Not to mention that my haircut was fantastic - I got a skinfade done and it was so high-quality! Easily one of the best skin fades that I have ever had, and for such a competitive price! If you’re in Manchester and you need a haircut, Jefes is the place to go!

Negative experience: I have been to this shop for a haircut. I was excited for first haircut by an English being here for around two years (Ive been to brown barbers before but this time I wanted a local look). I dropped there and ask for choice. The person who was working just took 20 minutes and boom the bill was 27.5£ for not so extraordinary haircut. I am writing after few days as my colleagues told me they charged too much and ripped me off when they noticed my haircut.

Was growing my hair out and didn’t know exactly what kind of looking I was going for but immediately got a suggestion from them and it worked out really well. Fantastic experience: I recently started a new job in Manchester and therefore wanted to find a new hairdressers. Jefes is genuinely the best I have ever been to. In the few months I have been coming to Jefes, everyone has been friendly, professional and most importantly, the quality of the haircuts is amazing!! You are more than just a customer. Jefes clearly aims to make every person that enters a friend, and takes their time to understand you, the hair you would like and isn’t aiming to just get you in and out as quickly as possible. 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: Kris is fantastic. He can do anything and is so knowledgable. I didn’t know what I wanted when I first showed up. He took me through what type of hair I have, what would suit me, and tailored it to what time I had in morning to mess with it. Top guy! Won’t go to anyone else now!

Fantastic experience: Got a haircut at jefes on Friday Cuba cut my hair and it’s the best trim I’ve ever had. He kept asking all the way through was I happy and yes I was amazing. It’s reminded me of a social club in Spain that kinda vibe but haircuts. All of the guys here really make u feel at home like ur a friend and to top it off I’m from Ireland and they have a barber called Kevin from near limerick who came over and chatted to me and my partner made us feel really welcome. Just saw on there instagram it is closing ? Manchester get out and support these guys, ye have a gem in yer city would be a shame for them to go. Fantastic experience: We came here on the back of my own amazing haircut, by Kus, in the lead up of my son's 9th Birthday. We hadn't booked in advance, but Kevin managed to squeeze my son in, and what an amazing haircut we received- great attention to detail and was fantastic with our son. We have always struggled with achieving the style he wanted with other barbers, but Kevin smashed it. Highly recommend this place thanks to amazing cuts, both by Kus and Kevin
