Negative experience: Very unpleasant experience. It was my first time getting a haircut at this place, and it will definitely be the last. The barber in the middle seemed completely unprofessional. Throughout the haircut he kept hurting me with the clippers, using them far too aggressively and even scraping my skin. The haircut itself was very poor and I am not happy with the result at all. To make it worse, they only accept cash. I was not informed about this beforehand. I asked to pay by card, but they refused. I only had £20 in cash, and for the remaining £3 he asked me to make a bank transfer. Honestly, very embarrassing and unprofessional. I will never go back there again.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Rab for a while now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. He always brings a positive vibe to every appointment, which makes the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish. He’s great at making me feel comfortable in the chair, and he consistently gives me the best trim. Every time I leave, I’m looking sharp and feeling confident. On top of that, the whole shop has a great atmosphere, all the other barbers are welcoming and make an effort to greet everyone who walks in, which says a lot about the place. Highly recommend Rab and the team if you want top-quality cuts and a genuinely friendly environment.

Moved to Islington last year and still haven’t found a replacement… I lived in Stockwell for 2 years and this place is my go to; all the staff are great. Literally. I have a new guy cutting my hair almost every time and yet I always walk away happy. Shoutout to Ali; gave me a great cut today - took one look at a photo and absolutely nailed it. He’s also up for a good chat if you like to yap.

There’s always a lovely greeting at the door which is very welcoming and you see the effort and care that goes into every haircut when you’re waiting. Rob has been cutting my hair recently and he’s a class act every time. No matter the time or day you go the guys put 100% in. I’ll keep going for years to come. However my barber Raber made my experience personalized to a different level I do not need to communicate any extra details of my haircut request. It has been a regular thing for me to see same barber with extraordinary services.

Negative experience: Had a haircut here before Halloween, great. Clearly the staff were still feeling spooky because the haircut I received today was nothing short of horrifying. How or why I paid £23 I have no idea, it must’ve been the excessive amount of orange scented spray used that convinced me to part with my money in a daze. Upon being shown my hair I realised that they had given me the 1940s Germany special - nothing like the skin fade I had asked for. The 4.9 rating is not reflective of the haircut I got and I hope sharing my experience spares you the pain.

Negative experience: Spent months growing out my hair, then agreed on a length to cut to, next thing I know he cuts chunks out of the front of my hair! - clearly didn’t pay attention to the style or request. Clearly someone new but will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Always come by this barbers, and never leave dissapointed. One of the few places that every barber there can be trusted to make sure you get a good cut and beard trim in the style you ask for. Always super friendly and great people on entry too. Most recent visit was with Rawa, only 18 years old, but he's clearly passionate and patient and gave me one of the best trims I've had in a long time highly reccomend this place.
