I went for the first time today expecting just one service, but I ended up trying a few extras I’d never done before — including a facial treatment — and I was genuinely blown away. It’s the little things that make the biggest difference the Turkish delight, the tea, the way they speak to you… everyone is polite, welcoming, and just overall great vibes. And honestly, the best part (apart from the haircut being on point) is the whole pamper experience. The face mask, the hot towel unreal. I walk out feeling relaxed, refreshed, and properly looked after. As a man, it’s rare to feel pampered like that, but they nail it every time. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I recently started using Michelle Barbers as my regular barber had moved away. I was immediately made to feel extremely welcome and had a very impressive and professional service directly from Umi. I appreciate that some may find the prices here a little on the expensive side, but the cut I had from Umi then and the subsequent visits that I made, were exceptionally good. In particular, Umi has a great number of years experience and is very skilled. Would certainly unequivocally recommend.

Fantastic experience: The cut was perfect, the customer service was of a higher standard than most. These guys are very customer focused, like the neighborhood barber shops that were around when I was a kid. I found out my barber is from a family of barbers and it showed in his technique. Very precise and very thorough. Worth the price. I think I’ve finally found a barber I can rely on.

Negative experience: Hope this doesn’t come across as rude, but you asked for a review so I’ll do you the courtesy of being honest - your prices are too high. I normally get a quick back and sides with a little off top every 2-3 weeks. More of a trim than a haircut really. The haircut I received was okay. But what’s not okay for me is to be charged £24 for this. I get you’re going for the ‘premium’ thing, but for people like me we don’t really want or need the free Turkish tea or Turkish delight, I would rather just have a decent haircut that’s in a more affordable range. Especially these days where many are counting every penny. I’d advise you just to take this comment at face value, and not try and tell me how much rent / utilities cost etc. My previous barber (who was very good, and in Zone 2) charges £10, and other local barbers are similar. I’m sure there are plenty like me who will be forced to go elsewhere. Perhaps think about leaving a little bread in the fishes mouth? All the best - S

Negative experience: I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your barbershop on [insert date]. I had a haircut from one of your barbers, and the overall experience was very poor. Firstly, the barber did not seem to understand or speak English well, which made it very difficult to explain what kind of haircut I wanted. Because of this, the result was completely different from what I asked for — uneven and not professional. Additionally, the barber made inappropriate comments such as “Why you come here?” and “America is not good.” This made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Such behavior is unprofessional and not what any customer should experience. To make things worse, I was charged £43 for this haircut. The quality of service I received was more like what I would expect from a £15 barbershop, not one charging premium prices. I feel that I did not receive value for my money, nor the level of respect and service a customer deserves. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter seriously and consider offering a refund, a price adjustment, or a correction with a more qualified and professional barber. Thank you for your attention. I hope you take this feedback constructively to improve your service quality and staff professionalism.

You can sense he is well settled into the area with guests continually coming from the 60s 70s regardless of the ownership change to Umut who is taking care at the moment. Fantastic experience: Popped in for a haircut due to solid reviews and wasnt disappointed. Offered tea before I sat down and then well looked after. Asked what I wanted, checked for any extras and then had a friendly chat throughout. A couple of new things for me, ear hair flamed for example. Listened to my request for not using a razor on my temples due to sensitive skin (its amazing how often this doesn't seem to be listened to first time) Really high quality cut, attention to detail was really impressive. 10/10 will be back again and would recommend to anyone

They even support other local events going on the community and one of the few barbershops that actually had on their coffee table booklets for what to do in the community which is awesome. The barber really paid attention to really what I wanted kind of style I wanted to notice how much I care about my hair and I could feel as passion for haircut. I can’t wait to go back especially after visiting all the way From the US and experiencing haircuts all over the world. This is the place you must go to, even if you have to go all the way to West London!!
