3 months ago Fantastic experience: I just got a layered haircut from April, and she is honestly the best for layers in town! This was one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had in my life. She is incredibly skilled and so gentle — sometimes when she was working on my hair, I could barely even feel it because of how light and careful her touch was. She really understood what would suit me, shaped the layers perfectly, and made my hair look so healthy and full of movement. On top of that, she also gave me helpful styling tips so I can maintain the look at home. 3 months ago Fantastic experience: Went for roots touch up earlier and am extremely delighted. Actually this was the 2nd time I went here. Last weekend, I brought my mother for hair color also. Mom is very satisfied with her hair. I went back this afternoon for my turn. April is very good with what she does and cheerful too. It took 2 hours to do my hair and first time I didn't get bored sitting down and waiting for my hair to be done because we were chatting the whole time like friends I downloaded some Netflix episodes just in case I get bored or feel sleepy. The only time I tried watching it was when April had to go to the restroom while waiting for my hair color. Didn't even take 10 mins of the show Her services are very affordable too!!!

5 months ago Fantastic experience: Bro… JP didn’t cut my hair, he patched the update. Man turned my head from “before picture on Google” to “Instagram explore page material.” I walked in looking like I fight raccoons for fun. I walked out looking like I got a 3-year contract with Drake’s OVO crew. JP so locked in he lines you up with NASA precision. Fade so clean I saw my reflection and said “nah who’s THAT? ” 10/10 would get cooked again. JP is HIM. My hairline is now under witness protection because it’s too sharp.

Great guy as well, every haircut turns into a fun time, not just with him but all of the other barbers in the shop. Hectic Cutz is a 10/10 barber shop. Well ran with great culture. Would recommend to anyone !

7 months ago Negative experience: I'm all for learning and we all start somewhere in our crafts, but I believe that student should take some time practicing on mannequin heads more or understand the fundamentals a bit better with basic fade cuts and scissor work. I'm no barber but it was awful. I tried being patient and gave him a chance to fix but I left that place in the worst mood. I wish him all the best, he will grow with time but this morning was brutal.

8 months ago Fantastic experience: Got my haircut awhile ago from Yana. I'm a new barber so I wanted to see how great barbers cut hair and Yana was an exemplary example of an expert barber. Her consultations were nothing like ive ever had, she asked the right questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. On the technical side, her understanding of how the haircut should be shaped was insightful and her fades were amazing too. I learnt alot from her and I highly recommend getting a cut from her and Hectic Cutz in general The only very tiny problem I had was locating the barbershop. There wasn't a logo of the barbershop outside the building so I was confused if I was at the right place.

8 months ago Fantastic experience: We live an hour out of Edmonton, and my son Jabby wanted a barber who was detailed, so he did a research and Hectic Cutz came up with Diego being one of their best barbers. Jabby started going there, and it has been exceptional service in a clean, fun lively environment. He now goes to university in Edmonton, and continues to go there. Diego is meticulous in what he does. He is friendly, knowledgeable and professional…bottom line, he is very good at what he does!

She is very patient to hear, discuss what I want and dislike from previous haircuts I got elsewhere. Love my haircut and got lots of complements. 100% strongly recommended Yana for your next haircut.

9 months ago Fantastic experience: Sebastian is my go to barber but I have also gotten a haircut from Diego and must say it was more than what I was expecting. Whether you need a trim, shave, or complete clean up the barbers at Hectic Cuts have you covered. If you are going to a different shop, I definitely recommend you switch and make Hectic your spot to get a trim. You will not regret it and neither will your style.

9 months ago Fantastic experience: Whenever I would get haircuts with other barbershops they would always mess my hair, but jack was the best barber I have ever went to he was so nice and the end product was great. I really recommend his cuts, and I hope to come again

JP made my experience relaxing and always made sure temperature/pressure was just right. I highly recommend JP for an upbeat and detailed service. 9 months ago Fantastic experience: My usual stylist was away on vacation. I needed a last minute cut for an event. I've never tried Hectic Cutz Inc. in Century Park before, but I knew of them because they're on the same floor as a spa I go to. I ended up booking online and selected "any barber". I was matched with Yana. She cut and styled my hair so well I didn't want to go home cause I felt like not enough people had seen how good it looked. Before she even started to cut my hair she asked me exactly what I wanted. We went over it a few times. She checked my hair length up top for any unevenness, then she began cutting my sides. Yana was very meticulous with my cut and asked if I was in a rush, so she could spend more time on detailing. In the end I was really happy with the fade, cut, and style. Yana even washed my hair thoroughly after the cut saving me time. Whatever product she used in my hair kept me styled for the whole day. Yana told me about a beard care service Hectic offers, so I'll definitely be trying that out next time. Yana was great. I'll book her again for sure.
