Negative experience: I’ve went here a few times now and got different barbers and some of them are very good and some not so much I got a perm and a haircut done, pulled up a reference photo of my own hair and what I wanted. Got cut insanely short and it looked nothing like the reference. I am a woman who dresses more masculine and it felt like he gave me a haircut that would be more for women and not men. He also trimmed my hair after my perm which felt like a waste since he cut off majority of my curls I just spent $200 on. I’m very disappointed and I tried to give this place another shot since I’ve been here twice before and every other time something has went wrong. I’m not one to leave reviews and shit on a business because they do have talented barbers there but some are just unprofessional and don’t listen to what you want. If I go again I just won’t book with him anymore

Fantastic experience: So this review was not requested by the barber or the shop, but I had to leave this review here for the service i got from my boy Darvin. This guy set me up for success with the cut. Totally transformed my hair from an old school fade to a more trendy messy top and on the side. Such a chill guy anf makes sure you are always comfortable. Took a solid 1 and half hour to fine tune the cut to the perfection. My first time here, but im definitely seeing Darvin in couple of weeks again. Overall a good barber shop. (HOPE DARVIN GETS THIS MESSAGE PASSED)

Fantastic experience: My son really wanted to go to the hairstylist here. I was skeptical but made the drive. Luckily there is local ammenities while you wait. The parking lot is very busy. Big Cummins trucks every 10 minutes. The business next door might take walk ins. But I bet it is HARD to get in.

Fantastic experience: good God, ask for Amir if you need your beard trimmed or sculpted. He's great, he did exactly what I wanted and what I envisioned in my head and charged me a very reasonable price. this place is amazing. I actually look good because of him, A++++ excellent job. edit: its been over a month and my beard has grown back fuller and healthier than ever, its not dry and brittle anymore and I haven't switched up my grooming routine. I have no idea what that man did but he's a miracle worker

Negative experience: Not impressed at all. I called at 6:40 pm to ask if anyone was available for a walk-in and was told to come in. I arrived at 6:50 pm, sat in the barber chair at 7:05 pm, and was basically rushed out by 7:30 pm. The entire experience felt hurried and careless. The fade is nowhere near Drive In Barbershop standards. The top isn’t blended into the sides at all—it honestly looks like I got an undercut. This was not a clean or professional job, and it clearly shows that the barber was rushing to get done. What makes this even more frustrating is that my first experience here was amazing with Ameer. He took his time and gave me one of the best fades I’ve had, which is exactly why I came back. Unfortunately, this visit proved that it’s hit or miss depending on who you get as a walk-in. Overall, rushed, sloppy, and not professional. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Went to Drive in after my last barber FRIED my hair, and wow did Kash do wonders. Kash was constantly recommended to me by my buds, and after seeing their cuts I was dumbfounded by how well their fades and trims were blended together so you know i had to go myself. Went in thinking it would js be another haircut but the expirence was amazing. Kash was kind and really listened to me when i told him what i wanted, he took his time and was in no rush even though the store was near closing time. the atmosphere of the whole barbershop itself, made me feel like i was in a community of wonderful people. everyone was smiling and included in the shop, all the barbers aswell as the clients. would definitely recommend heading to drive in and choosing kash to cut your hair, at least top 3 decisions you could make.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to try out a perm on my short, straight hair. After a lot of research I came across this Barbershop and ended up booking in with Troi. I told him I wanted a body wave perm (first time perm here) and got exactly that! The perm looks great. Unfortunately after about two weeks the bangs were not holding the curl as well because we had decided to go with the bigger rods there. I messaged Troi and he repermed the bangs with smaller rods for free. It was a great experience, and I will absolutely be back when I am due for another perm. Before and after photos for reference.

Fantastic experience: Ali is the man! Always takes his time and makes sure the cut comes out perfect. Super chill atmosphere, attention to detail, and you can tell he really cares about making his clients look sharp. Fantastic experience: I moved to Edmonton and couldn’t find a good barber for months, so I went without a haircut for like 4 months. Finally found Drive In Barbershop and Auto Detailing, and wow, it’s awesome! I booked with Taylor Achtay after checking out his work online, and he’s amazing. My haircut and beard look so good—better than I hoped! Taylor’s super talented, friendly, and knows his stuff. The shop’s cool, clean, and has a great vibe. I’m so happy I found this place—it’s my new go-to for haircuts! If you need a great barber in Edmonton, go see Taylor. He’s the best! Can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic experience: The haircuts here are amazing, I always go to Dom he always gives a great cut and is really nice to talk to, everybody there is nice and the inside of barbershop is clean.
