He consistently cuts my hair the way I like it - tapered on the sides, some weight on top side to ensure it doesn't stick up and finishes it so you can go right to an event if needed. The shop itself is quite old fashioned which appeals to me - chairs, magazines, etc. Would appreciate if he'd take appointments; that said, his location along 87 Ave. makes it easy for me to drop by and see if there is much of a wait and he doesn't waste any time. Kelly is a great conversationalist but doesn't talk too much which can be an issue with certain barbers. Fantastic experience: Extremely pleased with today’s visit. My 14 year old had a couple of photos to show what we were going for and Kelly immediately put him at ease. (The photo is pre-cut!) My son’s hair needed some mega TLC as it was very uneven on the top. He also has some pretty stubborn cowlicks and a high forehead (that he got from me) that Kelly needed to contend with. We now have a cut and fade that will grow into a manageable look that he can maintain. The atmosphere was also When we left Kelly has 6 patrons that had come in behind us that were more than happy to wait for his expertise. The conversation flowed amongst us and I’m thrilled that my kiddo now has such a welcoming place to go for a clean up.
