Fantastic experience: Ok. I don’t have enough words to describe how much I love this place. A place where can go and get a hair cut, manicure, pedicure and a facial without feeling weird.

Fantastic experience: Meezy did an incredible job with my son’s haircut. They cleaned the hair at the end very well. They listened to my son’s feedbsck and stopped a few times throughout to get feedback. My son walked away happy! Great job!

Fantastic experience: Aaron is fantastic- he’s friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I was extremely satisfied with the service provided, and have been consistently impressed each time I’ve visited. Staff generally contribute to a positive atmosphere. Prices are higher than some of their competitors, but the value provided (at least for me) makes Hammer and Nails well worth it.

Don’t skip on the drinks, especially if Hailey is behind the bar been going here for about half a year now.

Fantastic experience: Have been to multiple places that said they could do the haircut my teen son wanted. This is the only place that could actually do it! And the place itself is top notch! You can have a nice beverage while you wait. The smile on my sons face was priceless!

First time customer at Hammer & Nails and I really liked the shop and the services they provide. Addison did a fantastic job cutting my hair, she was also very personable and professional. She went out of her way to welcome me to the area and gave me some great suggestions as well on different spots to try and resources available. I definitely recommend Hammer/Nails and Addison if you want a great cut and style.

Negative experience: When I went here about two months ago, I had a terrible experience. The stylist was immature and inconsiderate of how I like my hair. She made haughty comments about my cowlicks which I actually enjoy about my hair and it's natural waves. I just today had an AWESOME experience at Arrow where the stylist made nothing but compliments about my hair's natural coloring and how healthy it truly is. Hammer and Nails is over-priced. The staff lack manners and self-awareness. There are better barber shops and stylist in the Triangle. IF YOU LIKE BEING INSULTED ABOUT YOUR GENETICS, then please stop at Hammer and Nails. I will never go to this business again for service. I should have not paid for their substandard CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. Your money and time are better spent someone where else. I should have not paid a dime for the overall results.

Fantastic experience: Such a great barbershop! The atmosphere is always relaxed and welcoming, and everyone there is super friendly. They’ve got awesome drinks, and the whole experience is better than any other barber I’ve been to. All their services are high quality, and you can tell they really care about their clients. Ask for Jody when you go she always takes her time and makes sure my haircut looks perfect every single visit!

Negative experience: My beard grooming appointment started optimistically, but I later became disappointed when I arrived home and looked in the mirror, noticing my beard was grossly uneven. That’s not good, especially if you have been a stylist for 14 years. No more $93 mistakes.

My stylist, Addison, was incredibly knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations that suited me perfectly. I’m very happy with the results and will definitely be visiting again.

Fantastic experience: Not gonna lie, walked in unprepared and with a fro only rivaled by kid n play. I couldn’t even remember the difference between taper and fade but Amelia answered all my questions in a way that I felt confident that she understood what I was going for. I felt very accommodated and walked out feeling like a brand new name. Overall the space had a nice atmosphere and staff were wonderful! 10/10 making this a habit. Thanks Amelia!

Negative experience: After a mediocre few haircuts almost a year ago and my fiancé leaving after a female employee was visibly upset from the creep of a boss there acting inappropriately this terrible company continues to charge him monthly even after changing out card and calling and messaging to stop multiple times. Total scam and terrible place. 0/10 do not go here.

Positive experience: Was 13 minutes late past my appointment time. Had to use the shaver after the straight edge to make it smooth. That’s not a true straight edge razor shave.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience start to finish. The receptionist, Gwynn, was beyond kind and made us feel at home. Meezy was my stylist and did a phenomenal job. Coming in, I was anxious about getting my hair cut in a new place with a new stylist, but Meezy worked with me and put in the effort to give me exactly what I wanted. She made a point to make a connection with me, and I was touched by her outlook on life and story. 10/10 will be going back to her.

Negative experience: I learned about the brand via larger social media and wanted to try it however this location is in an older building. I think the team does not represent the brand from what is valued and presented it at other locations. The photos is stock pics and not real photo of place on site. I don’t recommend as the price does not match value.

Negative experience: I spent 80 dollars on a haircut all I asked was that the back of my hair be fixed because it was not cut. Sara the "Manager" said I would have to pay for another hair cut. I tipped 20 dollars. Do not go here.

Positive experience: Let me start by saying everyone was very nice and I was very happy with my haircut from Ashley. However, I also got a classic beard grooming for $57.50 (even at member price of $44, I would have the same issue). All I got was a #8 shave attachment and a trim of the hair around my mouth. This is what I get at sports clip for $15.

I'd been growing my hair out for almost 2 years when I decided to chop it off and was looking for a barber shop that could help me figure out what that was going to look like. I got a tour, friendly faces, a cold beer and insightful advice on what I wanted to look like. Justin was a real swell guy who was open and educational on the style I was thinking about. We cut up for almost an hour, had a great time just chatting, and I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks. I also signed up for thier reasonably priced basic monthly membership to stay looking good as well

Negative experience: This is the worst place that I have ever used. Sports Clips for $22 did a better job. My last 4 appointments were scheduled with Sara (she is great). But I never got her. Even though I booked over the phone to have her. The last person I had cut my hair banged the clippers on my head every time they came in contact with my head. And the facial - my dog gives me a better one. So when I canceled with them the manager called me to ask why. I mentioned the above. His response was that it was my fault that I did not make it clear that I would leave the salon if I did not get Sara. So I said even though I call and ask for Sara it is not guaranteed. He said correct. But you have 3 months to use up my accrued credits. No sorry this happened let me refund you your last appointment. No wonder that this place is never crowded.

Fantastic experience: Justin has been cutting my hair for years now, and I cannot think of one bad experience with him. He’s the type to pay attention to every little detail while sparking up conversation the entire time. If you have an issue with any part of the cutting process or final product, simply speak up and he will listen. Cannot recommend him enough!

Fantastic experience: What a cool place! Love the concept, the decor, and the great service. Had haircut by Aaron, he is excellent. Then had manicure by Bryce which was super relaxing. Had my personal tv w noise canceling head phone, plus snoozed a bit. There’s also a bar where they’ll serve you a drink of your choice before your services. The energy of the place is super. Highly recommended! Aaron has been awesome. During my last few visits he did not only do my hair but also face treatment (steam, hot towel, razor shave, finishing with a cold towel). Really relaxing. My wife loves the way I look and smell when I get home. Love the place!!!

Fantastic experience: The service was great from the second I stepped through the door. Claire was very helpful and gave a thorough tour of the entire building. Sara did an amazing job. I hadn’t had a haircut or beard trim in probably 6 months so I came in a mess. 10/10 experience. I even signed up for the membership afterwards.

Positive experience: Sara did a great job. My only complaint lies with being grossly overcharged for the Reuzel grooming cream. $35 ? Seriously? Same product on Amazon is only $15.
