Negative experience: Very Bad. Would Not Return. Seriously, Go Somewhere Else. (update below) I initially chose this place, as I figure most of you do, because of the decent price-to-high rating ratio. But the ratings do not reflect the experience I had. I had gone here once prior to this, received an alright haircut for a good price, so I came back for another. But this time, when I went to pay, I was first charged for a medium cut. I asked for clarification about what exactly counts as a short vs. medium cut. The lady checking me out decided to just change the order to a short haircut, figuring if the classification isn't clear, we'd just go with the short cut. At this point, things were fine. Then, one of the hair dressers started yelling from the back of the store that I absolutely should be charged for a medium cut. She wouldn’t let up for a bit and went on to make fun of me and call me cheap. What they had listed (and what they still have listed on their Squire page) is that a medium cut is any cut that’s longer than your ears but above your shoulders. I still think the haircut I got would constitute being a short cut. The experience I had was... uncomfortable and honestly, embarrassing. I would seriously never return. The only reason I even came was for the price... but I guess you know how the saying goes... Haircut I got is in the pic attached - judge for yourself I suppose. Edit after response from owner: I think it's super weird to mention that "we were unable to locate your appointment record in our system." That is clearly a reflection on their record keeping practices.... it seems to imply this review is false, which it's not. I have a credit card transaction on February 4th, 2025. Then on my previous visit, I paid the employee via venmo. I dont normally use venmo for business purchases but they encouraged it at checkout.

Fantastic experience: Caleb always does a great job cutting my hair. He’s quick so you’re in and out and it always comes out just as asked! I typically get the medium or short cut.

He too the time to listen to what my son wanted then explained what a fade was, which number he should get and how to grow out his hair to get the style he wanted. We’ve been seeing Javier for 3 months now and my son says “he takes the perfect amount off!”

Fantastic experience: Jackson is hands down the best barber I’ve ever had. I have thick curly hair and have struggled to find a barber who can handle it. He has been great every time I gone and I now look forward to my haircuts. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I’ve only been here twice. The first time I went here I had probably the best cut I’ve ever had. The second time, which was recent, I got a cut so horrible that I had to go to a Great Clips the next day to fix what I could. I showed the guy some pictures to go off of which was to just shorten everything and leave more on the top…and he cut off most of my sideburns so bad that my hairline looks so much worse than it already was. Not to mention that I left the shop with a tail on the back of my head of hair he didn’t even cut and another part on the side of my head that wasn’t cut either. I felt so bad about it how it looked, and Great Clips was able to fix most of it, but I’m not sure if my sideburns will grow back the same and I’m very disappointed by that. I admittedly didn’t have my glasses on during the cut, and I didn’t realize how bad it was until an hour later. But I also have to give credit to the first guy I went to there, Alex. Alex was fantastic with little direction from me. I’m sure I was a one off experience but I would just say please go in and make sure they are doing what you ask, and look at other reviews to find the names of the good barbers that work here.

Negative experience: Good haircut, but don’t tell me to be there at a certain time and make me wait almost 20 minutes past my scheduled time. People have places to be.

Negative experience: Worst haircut I’ve ever got in my life. I requested a side fade with just a little off the top but what I got is almost skin fade all over my head and she cut my top so short and uneven. I didn’t say much at the barber shop and once I’m back home I realized the fade is not only too short, it’s un even and so does the top. 38$ for this horrible hair cut is a lot. I normally don’t write review or discredit but this is too much, I’ve read many good reviews on this barber shop and thought I’m in good hand, unfortunately not. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I’m traveling for work and needed a haircut, and this place exceeded all my expectations. The stylist who cut my hair was fantastic—so friendly and went above and beyond. They were incredibly skilled, and I’d highly recommend them to anyone. Even though I don’t live here, I can confidently say that Alex gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. He absolutely nailed it! Not only is he an expert with the clippers, but he’s also a genuinely great guy who loves talking sports. It’s hard to find service like this at such a great price. If I didn’t live in Wisconsin, I’d be back all the time!

Fantastic experience: Best place to get a haircut at a fair price. Expert level care and service. Every stylist that has cut my hair here has knocked it out of the park. They all have years of experience and are incredibly technical and professional about their job. Also, the neck shave is a great touch that helps maintain a clean cut for much longer than other places. Well worth the money overall.

Negative experience: Have had great haircuts here the past few times but the scheduling ruins the experience overall. Called because something came up that I couldn’t miss and asked if I could reschedule. They said I will have to pay for both appointments and will not just reschedule my appointment. Understand keeping the schedule but no leniency if something comes up? Also, asking for a tip before the haircut is even accomplished? Again I have had good haircuts here but due to this scheduling issue I will no longer be going here
