Positive experience: Wish I had the same experience as other reviews. Says they take appointments, was told they only do walk-ins. Walked in and wait was almost an hour, came back a few hours later, still very busy, however they moved through people fast. Maybe this is why I didn't receive 5 star service, very rushed, didn't clean between people and was in the chair for less than 10 min, no attention to detail. The left side of my hair does not match the right side and overall just a bad cut. Also a note, I was not cut by the owner but someone else.

Fantastic experience: my haircut is so good. I love it so much, it works so well with a hood all the way over my head. the barber was so proud of what he had done that he gave me free texture powder to better style his masterpiece.

Fantastic experience: These guys have been getting me right for years now. They fade better than anyone in the area, and everyone in the shop is cheerful and fun to talk to. Also, all of the guys are reliable, you never need to try and choose a specific person.

Negative experience: If I could put a 0 star I would. I showed reference photos and said what'd I like. They did the opposite and did everything but the haircut/hairstyle i wanted. Worse $50 spent.

Fantastic experience: I went for me and my 2yo son and had an amazing experience, the barber that did my hair did an great job and the one that did my son's hair (i think the owner) was very patient and nice with him even tho he was having a tantrum and did an amazing job!

Negative experience: I wanted to make this my shop but after several times where I show up and they are closed, I cant continue to come to a business that randomly decides to take the day off during their normal business hours. Its never a holiday either. They would just randomly be closed. No Google updates to let people know. No nothing. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because they have really good barbers.

In fact, my wife always loves the way I look after my session with him, which is the best endorsement you can get! Beyond his skill, Noor is super friendly, a fun conversationalist, and just a great guy to be around. His positive attitude, warm demeanor and efficiency make my time in the chair enjoyable. He runs a tight crew and his brothers/friends, who work at Uppercuts, bring the similar energy and vibe to the place. 11 out of 10. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: These guys are amazing. I came in yesterday just before closing but they took care of me. Such an incredible team they have, and all trained to give cuts the same way, regardless which barber you get. But my man Mo, he does incredible work and always gets me the best cut, taper fade and a clean up on the top. They are always busy which shows people clearly like going here. I'd be worried if it was empty. It's a great atmosphere and the owner make you feel seen and welcome. Even if you've only been there a few times, he already recognizes you. I started going here last year and have been going ever since. Would highly recommend this place.

They give you exactly what you ask for I had trouble finding a barber that would for a while it would come out not quite right but they consistently do it well here.

I have not felt this good since I was a baby in pajamas and for the first time in my life I’m looking forward to my next haircut. It is time ladies and gentlemen to make the switch to Noor. Fantastic experience: I normally go to their other shop (Tight Cuts) in udistrict but the cuts here are just as crispy! Noor hooked me up but was also really fun to chat with and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a fresh clean cut!

Negative experience: This was not my first time here but this time it was horrible!! I always insisted on not making my sidlines too short. Even today I said "dont make it white" but the barber shaved the back of my head completely and didn’t leave any line!! I cannot go out like this! I will never come back

Negative experience: Been here many times before, always felt there needed to be better system for walk ins since it’s just on guy that greets and remembers everyone place in line. For some reason today I was skipped over 4 times where people who walked in after me were helped before me. The guy at one point walked over to me and tapped my shoe and told me “don’t worry boss. We didn’t forget about you.” He then took two other walks in before I gave up and left. Wasted an hour before giving up and leaving. I understand your business is busy, but people have things to do too. Hair cuts are also hit or miss. The first couple haircuts I got were pretty good. Last haircut I got was so bad. Dude went crazy with the thinning shears that I had hairs sticking up all over my head and couldn’t do anything to hide them. Won’t be coming back to this place.

This place does get busy so plan accordingly, however they move pretty quickly. Place is clean, Mo the owner is awesome, friendly and treats every single customer like family. Negative experience: I called Uppercuts Barbershop to check availability, and the person who answered said it was quiet and told me to just come over. I got there within 15 minutes, only to find more than 10 people already waiting in line. Complete waste of time and very misleading. If they had just been honest about the wait, I wouldn’t have bothered. Poor communication and unprofessional. Not coming back.
