Negative experience: Worst experience ever, went in as walk-in and had Sam as my barber, not only was I gouged and left with scrapes on my head and neck, the fade on my head looked like the lines in a mowed lawn, Not only that, there was no product offered or given, I ended having to go to a different barber to get it fixed I don’t recommend

Negative experience: My son’s haircut was done in 10 minutes and it’s obvious. Don’t take your kids here. The first picture was what we showed and asked for & this was the result.

Positive experience: Had a short wait, but was not bad for walking in on Friday morning, they had me in a chair in less then 10 minutes. Rogelio was my stylist, and he did a bang up job. The only complaint I have is the price. $85 with tip seems a bit steep for a straight razor to the head an a beard trim. Other then the high price it was a great experience and I highly recommend Rodgelio.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible haircut. Barber used the straight razor on my neck and left it all bloody. I paid $40 for a terrible fade. Not going back to this barbershop. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone.

Negative experience: Awful haircuts that are rushed through. The main barber in there doesn’t care at all and ruses through every haircut. Miserable experience every time and cannot recommend avoiding this place enough.

The barber showed us some pictures and checked in along the way til we got a perfect look. Much needed hair cut but also gearing up for a few events including a wedding & he did a great job. Also no burn or pain or anything like that you get at cheap places.

I’ve had my hair cut there a number of times and just took my youngest son today. The place is clean, and everyone is kind and professional, with great haircuts, shaves, and hot towel massage priced right!

Negative experience: Sam has no customer service skills whatsoever. Didn't introduce himself, shake my hand, nothing. Gave my sides and back one pass, that was it. Left my neck raw. Squared it off instead of the taper I asked for. No warm towel. Just a bad haircut from a guy who seems like he couldn't care less. Not coming back here. I'll probably need to go get this fixed elsewhere.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible haircut! I’ve had better cuts at Great Clips. The result was completely inconsistent, with patchy spots and uneven lengths throughout. The barber never once used scissors, just a trimmer. I requested a 1–3 fade on the sides with length on top to style, and instead walked out with a butchered buzzcut that looks like I’m headed to boot camp. Save yourself the time and money, don’t go here.

Best haircut I've had in Phoenix. I'll definitely be going back, and I'm sending my 19 year old son for a haircut and shave.

Negative experience: I sent my husband out to get some extra services for father's day weekend. 50 dollars for a bad facial is just ridiculous! No we did get the free t shirt or hat as advertised fir dads either! We want a refund now! He can keep the hip but my husband needs a refund

Negative experience: I just yesterday which was a Friday had a facial done at this location at 9am. The service was very bad, the guy was nice but he first put a warm towel on my face then, put a mud mask on my face he rubbed on very quickly, then later took that mask off. The message was just a hard held vibrator while my face has a towel on. Then later he left facial mud on my face neck and hairline. 5/13/25. I already gave a poor review to this company directly but Noone contacted me. So here I am. 48 dollars for a bad facial isn't worth it! I did tip because I always tip but really he did a terrible thing.

He has been cutting my hair for about four years and he has always displayed a friendly and professional attitude. He is a very kind and caring person. My wife and granddaughter often come in with me and he always takes time to say hi and ask how they are doing!. Fantastic experience: CARL AT V's IS ONE OF THE BEST!!! One of the best barber shops in the Phoenix area is V's on Happy Valley in Norterra. I was the last customer through the door at 5:30pm and they close at 6pm. Carl was already working on another client but took the time to welcome me and asked me to have a seat and said he'd be with me as soon as he could. I felt bad because Carl was by himself, and it was about closing time. Once Carl finished with the other client who seemed very satisfied with his cut, he quickly cleaned up and asked me to have a seat in the chair. As usual, Carl was professional had pleasant conversation and did such a great job! If you're wondering where you should go for a great haircut, see CARL at V's on Happy Valley!

Negative experience: I only make reservations for beard trims. Out of four beard trims, I have been nicked twice at this particular establishment. Sam most recently nicked me. Instead of taking responsibility, he tried ushering me out the barber chair without providing me an opportunity to inspect his work. Only after requesting a handheld mirror did he make any attempt to tamponade the bleeding. I understand mistakes happen, however the lack of accountability is disturbing. Sam, you’re a barber—not a butcher. I expect you to own your service, which includes your mistakes.

Negative experience: Terrible barbers!! Messed up my levels. Came back and nobody wanted to help. Had to sit and wait. Would not recommend this place. Very disappointed. Never coming back.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience, I took my son and it was his first time at a barber shop from going to the kid haircut places. He played chess with a customer while waiting and he loved that. We had Mario and he was excellent! He took his time and listened and my son loved his cut. Negative experience: Save yourself the time from this place. I scheduled an appointment, waited a hr to still not get a cut to the point i just walked out. Which that is enough reason to me but the main reason i walked out, i had a hr to watch 4 barbers cutting multiple ppls hair and not a single one looked good lol. Dead serious. If you’re gonna have shitty service least be good at what you do.

Negative experience: If you value your time and your appointment time being met for the time you schedule it. Don’t come here. On two instances I made an appointment during my lunch hour only to watch barber after barber take walk in after walk in. Not sure what the point of an appointment is at that point None the less haircuts are decent but my time is more important. Unfortunately wasn’t even offered an apology when I left the last time I was there waited 45min past my appointment time They just wanted to make sure to take me off the list since I was leaving. lol not sure they ever paid any attention to me being there in the first place. I went to the small barber across the street got me in and out will be taking my business there moving forward

Negative experience: Walked in on a Wednesday afternoon and walked out after an hour of waiting. Shop should advertise that you need to make an appointment or you’ll be waiting an hour and a half for a haircut. Booking online cuts the line of walk ins. Not enough chairs or barbers for amount of customers.

Negative experience: This place is ran like a joke : all the barbers are late . They all are low quality barbers that do burn and turns . Hair left uneven , no clean fade , barber bragged about how fast he could cut me . . This was an experience alright . The bathroom is filthy . Non of the barbers cleaned their tools inbetween Clients . They recycle barbers like toilet paper . It’s very clear that it is a result of poor management/ ownership . This place is like 1 step up from a Supercuts . Spare your self . Any one who left a good review here clearly does not know what a good cut actually is .

Negative experience: My wife made our son an appointment for 5pm today at the Norterra Location. Our son and I walk into the establishment nobody even said hi to us until the owner did little later. He checked to make sure we had an appointment and said we had it with Mario. Mario didn't acknowledge us once! Some girl walks in and Mario goes straight to her and talks with her and laughs and having a good ole time while the CLIENTS are still waiting for the appointment. We walked out and nobody said a word. I was so excited to try this place out and now I would not recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Last minute walk-in late Sunday! They got me in, and I didn't feel rushed. Rather, I was made to feel relaxed. Malik was great! Listened to what I wanted and viewed a photo of the style I wanted. Came out great!! Also, bought product and tipped out nicely, thus the larger than normal price range for a haircut. I'm going back again!!

Fantastic experience: Carl cut me for this appointment as he always does because I book with him everytime. I book with him because he listens very well and does what I want not what he wants. He understands what you want as long as you are specific, with good instruction he can get it exactly how you want it no matter how crazy it is.

Fantastic experience: This place is a gem for the community. Great location, nice big windows, quick service and best of all, I think Rogelio gave me the best haircut I have ever had. Even my wife commented on how much better the cut was than the stylist I usually go to. Everytime I come to Phoenix I'm coming back to get my cut here with Regelio.

Fantastic experience: I needed a haircut ASAP so I checked for availability online at 3pm and booked a 3:15pm appointment same day. Yuri was excellent and gave me the exact hair cut and beard trim that I was looking for. The shop is clean and organized and has a welcoming feel to it. I've already scheduled my next haircut with Yuri later this month.

Fantastic experience: I would like to give a Big shout out to V's Barbershop. They provide a world-class experience and I always walk out feeling like a brand new man. My barber Jay did an outstanding Bald head shave down to the skull along with a fresh beard line up. The pricing isn't exactly cheap but it is a fair value. I like the old-skool barbershop feel and atmosphere. Booking ahead, online is most definitely the move. If you want a great experience and the best haircut experience. Go to V's.

Fantastic experience: I was a late in the day walk-in but they were able to squeeze me in . Place seemed pretty busy. Interesting conversation with the barber. He has been a barber for a few decades and lived 6 or 8 place (he listed them but I forgot how many). Anyway, he said V's is his favorite shop ever to work at for two reasons: (1) They actually do full service barbering and (2) they allow their barbers enough time to do it right. He explained most shops try to push high volume and not really allow time to make sure the customer is really satisfied. In contrast, V's insists they spend the time to guarantee the clients are happy. Never heard a barber say that before.
