Negative experience: I have been there for 3-4 times and i assure you that they are not good at their jobs. I have tried with different stylists every time and all did a poor job. Even with repeated explanation they do what they know. When I confronted they resisted their best.

Fantastic experience: Love this place. I always make my appointments on-line and never have had to wait. Today's haircut by Janita was amazing. One of those haircuts where you just brush a few times and the hair all falls into place. Very friendly and very detail oriented. She has now become my number 1 pick although I have to say I've never gotten a bad haircut here ever. They're all great! Love that hot towel for the finish! Thank you Janita!

If I am ever in need of a haircut in the future, and I am in Texas, I would be happy to go to Cool Heads again. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time, only to be bumped in the queue by a walk-in. Hard to square with the stated strict no-grace period statement on the website and is the second time it’s happened at this location. Would recommend finding an alternative barbershop.

I had hair cut yesterday and it was very basic and simple hair cut, it was not done evenly one side he cut more than other side… based on reviews, I thought of trying and it’s not worth for 40$ hair cut

Fantastic experience: The service is good. The policies are weird. Appointment policy is unfairly strict towards customers, but says nothing about the barber. If client is late even by a minute - it's a walk-in. If barber is late by 5 minutes - it's okay, still not a problem. What would I expect, one may ask. Dunno, being flexible, perhaps? Gratuity policy is somewhat embarrassing since it uses equivocation. Minimum gratuity 20%? Orwellian tip? If tip is mandatory that's not a tip, that's a price. Include that 20% into the price and don't embarrass yourself with this nonsense. The service is still good though, still giving it a 5 star.

Negative experience: I had a really disappointing experience at this barber shop. After I left, I noticed the barber shaved and cut parts of my hair that he should not have touched at all. This was especially frustrating because I had an important meeting coming up and we’re close to the holidays—timing couldn’t have been worse. I went back to the shop and showed the issue to the manager. To be fair, she was polite, apologized, and did try to fix it. The result did improve compared to how it first looked, but the damage was already done. I still have to wait 2–3 weeks for that area to grow back, which isn’t acceptable after a professional haircut.

Negative experience: I recently got a haircut done and the man (don't know his name) who cut my hair was very rough. My hair has a frizzy and curly nature. He didn't put enough water to soften my hair. He was randomly cutting the hair as he combed it. He was so reckless he hurt my neck with a small wound. This was my first time getting a haircut here and spent $50 for a very bad experience.

Fantastic experience: I usually get my cuts from Eddie, and his attention to detail is top notch. I’ve typically struggled to find someone who understands what I want, but he patiently listens to execute on the style you need. In the past , I’ve also worked with Sue who is great. Only caveat is that their online system sometimes allows double booking or randomly assigns someone else, so might be worth calling to confirm your appointment for a specific stylist
