Sean took the time to pay extreme attention to detail, which is sometimes hard to ask for, but ultimately what we all want when we are paying for a haircut. He also has the highest-end tools and takes his tool selection seriously. As a self-taught carpenter, tools and how we use them make a world of difference. I didn’t know until today, when Sean was teaching one of his interns, how important it is that different trimmers are used for different phases of the cut. It definitely tracks! Well done. Negative experience: Was told to walk in, with 5 barbers present in the store, each of them had appointments booked up, made me wait 2 hours and took in 2 other walk-ins prior to me while i was just waiting. All the barbers were taking their sweet time, chit chatting instead of focusing on attending to the clients. I would never go here again, do not get deceived by the preexisting reviews.

Negative experience: I’m new to the area and in search of a new barber- I found the business page of this barber online who had great reviews so I decided to try it out. For my first time experience, I’d say this was frustrating and if I could give 0 stars I would. I had scheduled my appointment a week out in advance and showed up on time. After waiting 20 mins in the lobby, I received an email stating my appointment was canceled. It was never communicated to me that my appointment would be cancelled and that Ali, the barber, would not be showing up. This was very unprofessional. I couldn’t even get the attention of the other barber there to ask about this as he kept stopping the haircut of his own client to take what appeared to be personal phone calls.

Negative experience: I’m beyond devastated. I literally asked for a very SMALL trim on top since I was trying to grow my hair out for a new hair style before I knew it he had absolutely ruined my head and kept cutting more off to try to “even it out” and did even more damage. I’ve tried so hard to grow it out and was trying to find the right place to be a regular at in order to style my hair but it has been completely ruined I’m literally devastated. Barber could not follow basic instructions and was too distracted on other things. Pictures attached. How can I go from this to that? Literally sad.

Cut up my neck, did all the instructions backwards, cut off chunks of hair here and there in patches. Told him leave the sides long and no skin fade and fade it to #1. First thing he does is cuts off my sides and skin fades them ‍♂️ Shouldn't be holding tools, has two left legs instead of arms and does not comprehend instructions. When shown cuts on neck, blames the skin and still charges money ‍♂️ Absolute fail. Had to go to another guy to fix it. It was far but it was worth it. Manifest barbershop in McKinney.
