Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t recommend Ormonde Street Barber enough! After taking part in a running race in Kilkenny, the rain had left my hair extremely knotty and matted. I spent nearly an hour trying to brush through it myself, but there was one section that I just couldn’t get through. As I’m not from Kilkenny, we went to the nearest barber/hairdresser we could find, which happened to be Ormonde Street Barber. The owner was working and was so kind and helpful. He took the time to help me with my hair and was incredibly friendly and understanding about the whole situation. I really appreciated him taking me in and helping me when I was quite stuck. Such a lovely experience and a genuinely kind person. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: The service is always top-notch, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the attention to detail is second to none. Every haircut is consistently sharp, fresh, and exactly what I ask for. You can tell they genuinely care about their work and their customers. I’ve tried plenty of barbers over the years, but this is easily one of the best. Great atmosphere, great people, and an even better haircut. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality barber!

Negative experience: Don’t recommend, asked for a haircut..it was rushed and then I got charged extra for a skin fade (never asked for a skin fade in the first place)..they also let customers vape in the shop and it just generally has a bad vibe

Negative experience: Paid 15 euro yesterday to leave this place looking like forrest gump. Said don’t cut the front twice, female barber agrees and then just does what she wants.

Negative experience: I have sadly resigned myself to the fact a good hot towel shave cannot be got in kilkenny. Friendly staff and all that..but had to use my mach 3 to finish the job. Substantial amount of hair left.Disappointing after reading all the positive reviews.
