Fantastic experience: Would go no where else to get hair cut. Very professional and friendly staff .Free parking there also.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, the male barber (didn't get his name) did my sons first haircut and he was excellent with him. Really patient and just went with what the child was doing.

Negative experience: My little lad his only 8 years old who has curly hair went today with his dad for a haircut his dad explained what way the hair was to be cut, and my child got the most useless haircut, not at all what was asked, his hair is absolutely ruined his hair line is an absolute mess and literally half way back his head, the child is embarrassed and upset to go into school in the morning his words were to me when I got home mammy everyone will be laughing at me so I'm there lying to my own child saying oh your hair is nice to try cheer him up. My husband was livid but keep his cool fair play to him and then afterwards she said she doesn't usually cut curly hair and charged 21euro. I'm absolutely livid myself that someone in the business for years would be so useless and deceving by messing up someone's hair so terribly and only mentioned after the hair cut she doesn't really cut curly hair.

Negative experience: This place is like roulette, you don't know if your Guna come out with a good haircut OR a awful one. Depends who you get. One or two of em in there I wouldn't trust to trim the grass

As a business owner myself the idea that any business owner  would use their business as a platform to push their political is disgraceful. I could not get out of there fast enough. Buyer beware!

Fantastic experience: If you have a child this is the absolute BEST place to get their hair cut! They have lots of brilliant distractions for them - books - a small child size tv with cartoons - and a car or plane to sit in. The staff are brilliant- very kind - very patient - and very fast! I would definitely recommend !

Fantastic experience: Claire is an absolute gem! She's fantastic with the kids and the haircuts she can do in such a short time is beyond impressive! I often get compliments on my son's hair after Claire does it and even have people who have drove 30 minutes out of the way to go to her as she's excellent. The set up they have in there is fantastic! Top notch.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best barbers in kilkenny. They are brilliant with kids especially the fussy ones like my own. There is almost a constant flow of customers and the best part is they offer dry cuts for womens hair too. From my own personal experience with them I would highly recommend studio one barbers.

Negative experience: When I arrived at the barbers with my 20month old baby I was quoted €13.50c for a baby’s haircut( which only involved a bare trim), the gentlemen informed me that they do not take card-cash only! This is a big inconvenience! I went to the local paper shop & got cash for payment. On my return to the barbers I was quoted €18 for my baby’s hair cut. I informed the lady of the previous quote & she stated that “all girls hair cuts are €18”. I explained that it was a baby and she responded “she is a girl”. The owner of the premises was standing next to the barber & did not get involved in my query of the different prices I was provided with. In my opinion this is day light robbery! A gentleman can get a hair cut for less. I will not be returning to this premise again.
