Fantastic experience: For the last, probably, ten years or so I always try to book with Gary as his cut suits me so well and it is always excellent, the others are also really good. Like in most things, however, you build a relationship over a period of time and although he always shows me the result and asks if it is to my satisfaction I know before looking he has cut it very well. Went to see Gary again this week and very happy as usual.

Negative experience: Took my husband in for a haircut and unfortunately, it didn’t turn out well at all. He asked for something neat and tidy, and somehow ended up with something uneven and messy — the kind of cut that makes you want to wear a hat indoors. Shaun was the barber, and I’m sorry to say, he didn’t seem very focused or particularly skilled. The fade was poorly blended, the shape was all over the place, and it just felt rushed. Definitely not what you'd expect from a professional studio. We won’t be returning — and I’d recommend giving this place a miss unless you want to risk walking out feeling worse than when you walked in.

Fantastic experience: After deciding to leave my regular barber of two years (due to poor customer service) I found Esquire Barbers online and thought I would give them a try based on their reviews and their longevity in Norwich. I booked an online appointment with Dean and was very pleased with the service I received on entering the shop, being initially greeted by Gary and then Shaun. Dean greeted me once he had finished with his previous client and showed me to his chair and we discussed what I required. Dean is a master of his craft and I am really happy with the haircut and the service, I will definitely be booking with Dean again. Thank you Dean and the Esquire team.

Fantastic experience: Dom cuts my 2 year old nephews hair - he is absolutely amazing with him! Dom puts dinosaurs on his phone, gives him treats and tries to involve him as much as possible in his hair cut! The best!
