I was in Edinburgh for a few weeks, traveling for the Fringe Fest, and it’s always a bit of a trepidatious situation getting a haircut while traveling. You don’t have a rapport with the barber and they understand you’re a one off client. But, nonetheless, Gwyn was super kind, and really took his time to make sure he gave me the best cut he could, which I was very appreciative of. Next time I’m in Edinburgh, I know where to go to get the best cut!

Negative experience: Walk in..didn't get acknowledged. The guy finished cutting someone's hair and just stood on his phone. Waiting 10 mins without being acknowledged by anyone before walking out.

Fantastic experience: It’s always difficult choosing the right person for a beard trim, especially while travelling. I found Barber Road in short walking distance. Laura was able to seat me right away and did a perfect job and even gave me some recommendations for my trip! All in under 20 minutes. Now I can continue to enjoy some fine Scottish cuisine without my moustache acting like a filter. Would definitely come back here next time I’m in the city.
