Negative experience: Went today morning (25/02/2026) and the shop was not crowded and had one barber who extremely rushed my haircut didn’t follow instructions finished an entire haircut and clean shave in less than or around 3 minutes. Very very very disappointing experience. My instructions were not followed, and I ended up with a very much shorter cut and totally different format than requested. The shave also caused a lot irritation on my chin due to the speed. I’m sorry to say this but I felt the experience lacked professionalism and BASIC client consideration.

Negative experience: Christmas eve haircut. Didn't properly realise until in the car, worst haircut I've ever had. Skin fade way too high and left mt hair in an absolute mess for the Christmas period. Went straight to Ikon local to me and had them correct what they could. Will not be coming back!

Negative experience: Awful service awful haircut! When the great lummox of a barber called me over, there was still hair in the seat that he didn’t bother to broom away, when I sat down he didn’t ask me what I wanted he just said “how short”, I asked for at shortest a 3 on the back and sides, he completely ignored this and practically shaved all the hair off on the sides and the back of my head. After he finished committing the atrocities in my hair, he dumped some texture powder on my head and said “style it how you want.” Perhaps you should retrain your employees. Edit: while I never got the barbers name, his “station”, if you could call it that was second from the front of the shop, he finished my “haircut” around 17:07pm.

Positive experience: The service is really good. I was there and I’m surprised that Chris didn’t tell the truth about his experience as he went out very happy and he was giving compliments to the barber just for the sick of the truth. I was there waiting for my turn.

Negative experience: My local barber went on a holiday and I thought try these barbers out.. A guy called Ahmed cut my hair and I said at the start that if he gives me a good a haircut I’ll come here and honestly he took 45 minutes on giving me the shittest low skin fade I’ve ever had and was even gruntled by me directing him and then ended up rushing me out the chair after giving me a dreadful haircut!! Worst customer service I’ve ever had absolute disgrace and don’t even bother coming here as they charged an extra 10 quid for the most basic shape up

Every visit is genuinely on point with clean fades, sharp lines and attention to detail you don’t get just anywhere. He doesn’t just cut hair. He actually cares about how you leave the chair. You can tell he takes pride in his craft. The atmosphere in the shop is always welcoming with chilled vibes, good music, Turkish tea on offer and respectful conversation. Hamza never rushes you. Whether it’s a skin fade, beard shape-up or a full restyle, he takes his time to get it right and it shows. What I rate most is the consistency. It’s rare to find a barber where you get the same high standard every time but with Hamza I know exactly what I’m getting. A fresh, sharp, professional cut that lasts. Highly recommend. Book him early though. The man’s in demand for a reason.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. Would not recommend. I paid £28 for a hair and beard cut. I had never had razor bumps in my life. I left with terrible chin and face bumps from a razor cuts that I am treating from this place .

Fantastic experience: Sajed cut my sons hairs and he is autistic and he hates haircuts and always has breakdowns and when sajed cut his hair he delt with him very well and had a lot of patience I would DELEFENLY come again and would recommend sajed he made my son feel comfortable and helped him.

Fantastic experience: So I use to go to my local barbers near to where I live, after so many years been comming to Turkish scissors on hagley road Birmingham next to the Morrisons geunily speaking the best barbers my experience the best experience every single time I go their my barber Julian just knows what I want how I want and always giving me tips if needed not just my barber Julian but all the staff are excellent as soon as you walk in you’ll be offered tea or coffee and the teas n coffee is not your average tea or coffee if also your waiting for too long due how busy it is they’ll steam your face whiskey waiting this barbers just the best experience as well as your haircut you’ll get and you won’t get that anywhere else

The barber rushed through the haircut without taking the time to understand what I wanted — despite the place not being busy at all.
