Negative experience: went kinda late for a walk in, not only were they rushing the haircut having it only be 4:30, they cannot do any sort of "urban" haircut. i was pressured into getting a haircut by a friend cos im attending a party tonight and i asked for a low taper on the sides and back and they messed up my shit, i wish i could get my $50 back it was not worth the money. i didnt even see how badly the cut was bcos of the poor lighting at the place, but what the hell am i supposed to do

Fantastic experience: First time in 20 years having a haircut. Thankfully I had someone very friendly. Im a recent widow, and it was a great experience, considering the stress I felt. The actual haircut, and beard styling was amazing. I'm told I'm an idiot if I don't go back, and I agree.

Fantastic experience: My son's long hair had massive, tangled clumps that we thought would only be fixed with a buzz cut. The amazingly talented ladies at Foxy's were able to work through the knots and save his hair, much to our relief and tremendous gratitude!!! I strongly recommend that anyone who wants highly talented and experienced, skillful, professional hair care should run to Foxy's Gentlemen's Hair Studio!!! Positive experience: It's a hit-or-miss type of business. I took two of my teens before school and their hair turned out great and it was a hit. I liked the services I received so much that I went back for myself and it was a miss. I figured my needs were simple and direct and I ended up with a choppy uneven mess when I got the chance to take a good look at it for myself. Although this place has its good points, it's not the place for me. Best of luck!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to foxys for 3 plus years. I've always booked ahead of time and am usually in the chair a few minutes earlier than expected. Kirby has been cutting my hair for a long time. Always pleasurable. Keeps things light and very good at what she does. I won't go anywhere else but here. Beard and hair cut everytime. Theres a reason I always come back.

Negative experience: Had an appointment at 10:30, waited until 11:00 where I was seated with a hair dresser that said she wasn’t comfortable doing fades so I’d have to wait longer for someone else to be available. Charges premium rates but doesn’t offer premium service.

Negative experience: I just left from getting a fade and beard trim . I had a full beard and left with a jagged chin strap . A very poor hair cut and very patchy . Never cleaned the hair off of me never used after shave . I said I was unhappy and still had to pay 55$ for an awful experience

Negative experience: They cut my son's hair badly yesterday. I went for the first time. I will never go again. I do not recommend it to anyone. The employees are very rude. Also, the woman did not listen to us at all despite our requests from the picture we showed. The hair that came out was terrible. The asymmetrical cut had obvious scratches in places. My son has been crying since we arrived, I think I have to cut his hair completely. If you cannot do what you did or you will not be able to do it, please tell your customers honestly. You did not deserve the money I paid. They did not even answer us when we said good day when we were leaving. You are very incompetent and rude.

Fantastic experience: Hassan did a Fantastic Job on my hair! I have been to many places to cut hair; and this was by far my BEST haircut I have received in Barrie. Hassan is an Artist!! I came in with really long hair (shoulder length) after a year worth of growing out my thick full hair, I was very picky with who would cut it being so long and with many bad experience's elsewhere. Hassan gave me an incredible haircut and did a beard Line up and Fade! It was amazing!! And my wife is very very happy! I will be back to see Hassan again!!! Well done!! ** Update ** Hassan is now Gone :(

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend has a slightly bald head and gets conscious that a hairdresser will do an awful job, but not Foxy's. We were served by Katherine. She did a fantastic job! He felt very confident too after the haircut. She additionally helped him with a quick beard trim and he looked splendid. If your wondering whether you should go for the beard oil at Foxy's, please do. It's a nice investment. Thank me later!

Fantastic experience: This has become my new favourite place to get a haircut, even though I now have to travel across town a bit having moved. I always get a great haircut from any of the team, Hasa was the stylist last time. They are all very friendly also.

Negative experience: Not impressed.. my fiancé was supposed to get a trim and our 19 month old son was supposed to get his first haircut. We arrived at our appointment time (not a walk in) and walked into a packed lobby. We checked in at the front and when we sat down we were greeted by a staff member who asked us all sitting there who was next… isn’t that something you should know as the employee?! We had multiple people and families go ahead of us. After 30 mins of waiting my son of course was starting to get impatient and I mentioned it to a staff member and she asked for our names.. she then said ohh sorry I’m waiting for someone else. Another lady heard the interaction and went to the back so I figured she was getting a chair ready but instead she grabbed a broom and ignored us. We ended up leaving as it was an awful experience that should have been fun for us. Do not recommend and we will not be back!!

Fantastic experience: Walked in and only waited about 10 minutes to get a cut. After a brief description, the stylist went to work. She did a great job and captured the style I was looking for. Then to top it off, she trimmed in my beard and eyebrows. Left feeling like a million bucks. Went back and they took care of me and my son wonderfully.

Negative experience: Barely a consult of what I wanted Didn't line up straight at end. kept looking away during entire haircut wasn't even really paying attention. Took a chunk out of outline around ears both sides seemed bran new. Usually always come here n good. Won't be coming back

Fantastic experience: I travel 11 months per year.I have to address my grooming to whoever is available on spot.In Barrie I tried quite a few and I finally found a good mindblasting place. Also I got Lucky to be served by Hasan.I could instantly see his experience is ectensive by the way he uses the scissor and the fine cut machine.The beard trimming is on another level and the advises he provides, based on your face shape, are precious. I strongly recommend this place and shall you be lucky, you may try Hasan 's skills.

Fantastic experience: Foxy Gentleman’s and Kirby is my new favorite barber. My previous barber I had for over 30 years and wasn’t sure if I’d find another when I moved to Barrie. Kirby is very punctual and never keeps me waiting no matter how many walk-ins they have. I highly appreciate her and foxy gentlemen’s professionalism and the quality of work they provide. Positive experience: There's no point in making an appointment because they take people on a first come first serve. Everytime I've gone to Foxy's Gentlemens Hair Studio I've had an appointment but had to wait at least 30 plus minutes to even get in the chair.

Fantastic experience: I have been getting my hair and beard trimmed at Foxy's for years now. Have always found my couple of go to people there and never been disappointed. My last 3 cuts have been with Hasan and I can not recommend him enough. He does a great job! Detailed, professional, and patient. The hot towel and straight razor shave is also a nice treat.

Fantastic experience: Walked in for my appointment unexpectedly early. They were more than happy to take me. I was matched with Hasan, when I tell you he was great, it is truly an understatement. He was incredibly friendly, happy to work with me to get me what I was looking for and an absolute master of his craft. I’ve had a lot of great cuts in my life but this one may be at the top. He’s been in the industry as long as I’ve been alive so believe me when I tell you he cuts like he has scissors for hands. He is still perfecting his English so speak clearly to him but he told me every week he gets better and better so by the time you read this he’ll probably speak better than me lol. 11/10.

Positive experience: Cool location with sci fi statues. Had an issue on first visit but looking forward to a return anyways.

Negative experience: I want to say this is his second time coming here. The first experience was amazing, which is why he wanted to come again. My boyfriend came here for a haircut knowing exactly what he wanted, and explained this to the barber. She then told him that he would look much better with a different kind of look, so he agreed with what she thought would be better. The barber then ended up making a mistake, with the end result being all his hair chopped off. He was getting a haircut to look presentable to an upcoming job interview and now can't take off his ball cap. He now has to wait months for his hair to grow back and the barber did not apologize for the mistake or finish cleaning him. Extremely unprofessional in this type of field. I want a full refund for the price he paid.

Fantastic experience: I was in Barrie working out of town and needed a hair cut for my 50th birthday party when I was getting home for the weekend. I called and was able to get right in thanks for a cancellation. Great atmosphere and the setting inside is top shelf...I asked for a military cut with a beard trim and I got just what I asked for and then some!!! I haven't had a cut like this with so much in depth in awhile. Wish this place was in Port Elgin!!! Totally forget the name of my barber, first seat on the right side but great to chat with and great work all around!! I'll be back if I'm in town again!! CHEERS!!!

Fantastic experience: Went here to get my hair cut a few weeks ago and I must say that the service was very good. I was a walk in and I was seated in the chair within 5-10 minutes. The stylist was professional and curtious, and the hair cut was outstanding, would for sure recommend this location to friends and family. Price is a little higher than first choice but the quality is also higher so you pay for that experience. Edit: It's been over a year of using this location for haircuts and have been happy everytime, would highly recommend!

Negative experience: It's an OK place to go if you insist on having a beer when you get your haircut (which I don't drink alcohol) and look at semi attractive women who don't listen to what you want by giving you what they think looks good on you.. This was my 2nd and last visit... the first time wasn't as bad as this one, but I'll go to supercuts or magicuts from now on, save $10 and get a cut by someone who actually listens to what you want.

Negative experience: it was indeed racist behaviour at the salon. let me tell you the entire sequence of events. i came in exactly at 12pm on 19 november saturday n took my seat. at around 12:03 second guy came n around 12:05 third guy came n then a man came with his son. the manager came n asked what was my name n appoinment time. i told my name n said 12pm. she said ok. then she asked the second n third guy who wants to go first. she did not even ask their names or appoinment time. that is what frustrated me the most. she just asked both of them who wants to go first without asking their names or appoinment time. thats what i found weird. n when she asked who wants to go first the second guy stood n went. after 5 minutes another stylist got free. she came n asked who's next. the manager told the stylist to take the third guy next. i mean if the third guy had booked that stylist then why did the manager asked him initially that who wants to go first. n if the third guy had booked the manager then how come the manager now allowed the third guy to be alloted to another stylist. so ur point of booking a particular stylist does not make sense. then the third guy went. this was illogical n thats when i raised opposition. even after raising objection it was not heard. the fourth guy who had came with his son was served next. n i was still waiting. i got up n started leaving n tried to explain them the situation. almost all did silently accepted my point but could not say anything in front of manager. there were 4 lady emplotees n 1 male employee. u the owner please ask the male employee what happened on that day. ask him in personal not in front of everyone. he will tell the truth. he knows what exactly happened. don't trust the manager. she talked in ignorant way. ask the male employee. i am not here to damage reputation of ur salon. i want u the owner to know that what actually happened. ask the male employee (the bald guy). he will tell the truth. n the manager in the end said that she thought the second n third guy had came before me so she had allowed them. she herself said this statement in front of all employees n all customers. so your point that the two guys had booked a particular stylist so they were served first becomes invalid.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Foxy's since moving to Barrie almost 2 years ago. Despite not being a gentleman (I am a woman with a very short haircut) I have always felt very comfortable, and have received a great haircut every time. Although all the stylists are experienced and capable, I go to Kirby, not just because she makes my hair look awesome (I get many compliments) but also because she is a cool, intelligent, perceptive person that I enjoy talking to about everything from travel, to food, to government. My husband now gets his hair cut from her too, and equally enjoys the experience and the results. Thanks Kirby, I'll see you in three weeks!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Foxy’s ever since they opened and have always had a positive experience. All of the stylists there have been very friendly, outgoing and I can say I have never received, what one may call, a bad haircut. I have also never been one to always go to one person and specifically ask for one person, as I stated before, they’re all fantastic. Today was different though. The amount of pride and attention to detail that Slava showed today when cutting my hair, has changed my mind. Whenever I call to book an appointment I will be making sure I see him every time. I will recommend him to anyone who wants that barber shop feel. 10/10, thank you Slava!

I when i arrived i asked if i could have the most experianced barber to cut my hair cause i was going to my fathers funeral and she freaked said it does not matter who cuts your hair and made me extremely centered out! i told them i had my father funeral and needed the best barber i guess thats a no no at your location eh??? then i asked for a bald fade 3 minutes into the cut and she said i should be paying for an extra haircut cause i asked for something different! And then she gives me the WORST haricut ive ever had lines everywhere all uneven just horrible i had to go to lavish barber to get them to fix this! do not ever deal with KIRBY i was a long time customer with foxy i even bought there shirts a few years ago when they sold them but NEVER will i ever go there again! i would have made a review sooner but i had the funeral and celebration of life all weekend
