Fantastic experience: Honestly one of the best barbershop experiences I’ve ever had! Cut Bar is absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is great and the staff are incredibly professional and welcoming. The service is super fast without sacrificing quality, which I really appreciate. The location is also very convenient and easy to access. What impressed me the most is that my haircut is actually very difficult and not every barber can get it right — but here, they nailed it perfectly from the very first visit. They understood exactly what I wanted and delivered it in the best possible way. Highly recommend Cut Bar to anyone looking for quality, precision, and great customer service. Definitely a 5-star experience!

Negative experience: Barber argued with me on what my son wanted.my son told him what he wanted and the barber seemed to now better.so we did not get the cut we wanted,and it cost way more then most places for a kids haircut.Also cash only makes things very difficult. We are definitely taking our business elsewhere. Customer maybe not always be right.but this customer is definitely not happy.

Negative experience: Came here and had two decent cuts. Came back and the third time he absolutely wrecked my hair. I had an awful bowl cut that at took 3 months to grow out. It was near the end of the day, so not sure if he was tired, but will not return. Took two different barbers to fix. Ruined some wedding photos too. You want a clean cut? Go elsewhere. EDIT: I appreciate the response, however this WAS your cut. I know where I went and would not lie about that, unlike you. I got this haircut on June 6th ~3pm during a walk-in. I have no reason or intention to harm a business — I simply shared my honest experience. The photos reflect the haircut I received, and I stand by what I posted.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Mahdi cut my hair, and it was a good experience. I came in with long hair and asked for a really short cut. He was friendly and accommodating; he even put some of my hair in a box at my request, which I appreciated. It was also easy to get a quick appointment.

His work is absolutely professional, he listened carefully to what I wanted and delivered exactly that, even better than I expected. You can tell he takes pride in his craft and really pays attention to detail. If you’re looking for someone who’s not only talented but also genuinely warm and personable, I can’t recommend Mehdi enough. Definitely a 10/10 experience, and I’ll be coming back for sure!

Positive experience: They do a great job for a fair price. Very friendly. But the last 5 times I’ve come they have one guy working. And the guy cutting hair will sometimes take like 30 min. It’s getting kind of ridiculous how long one has to wait every time for a hair cut. Just took me an hour for a hair cut and I came yesterday but it was too busy. I hope they can improve reliability Editing based on reply from owner to emphasize (as per the original review above) that the issue has happened the last 5 times I’ve visited. Not just the last time. I wasn’t insinuating ppl need to work harder or through back pain like machines… i find the comment unnecessarily defensive to intentionally invalidate a valid complaint in a public forum. This was referring to a persistent staffing issue. Not just the one day where there was a personal emergency. I’ll be taking my business to Lombardo’s at campus plaza on Harvard from now on.

Negative experience: One of the attendants at this hair cutters is terrible. He could not follow simple guidelines and absolutely ruined my hair Update to Owner’s Reply: my review has been up for 7 months now and you just replied. This is not promptly correcting your mistakes. Yes I was given the haircut for free, but I would have never went to your business if I knew the barber could not follow simple guidelines. It took months for my hair to regrow and I will never be back to your business as I do not wish to repeat this issue again.

Fantastic experience: I've tried to get a haircut here for a few months, but as it's walk in only it can be difficult to find a spot if your schedule is tight. I finally managed to get in early on a quiet morning and will definitely be back. Beard trim and straight razor head shave for $65. I have sensitive skin and always have issues when I shave myself. No issues here whatsoever. And really efficient at just over 30 minutes for everything. If you need a haircut and have a mildly forgiving schedule it's definitely a place to go. I almost don't want to recommend it as it might make it more difficult for me to get in next time.

The barbers are very kind, work efficiently and are very good at what they do. They are always spot-on with what style you're going for. I have never been disappointed by a haircut at Cut Bar and highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We have been to Cut Bar a number of times (myself and my three boys) and have always been happy with the results. Today we had our cuts with Mohammed who is very friendly, efficient and gives a quality trim for both my son and I. While there are no appointments we have never had to wait longer than 15 min to get in the chair. Their prices are excellent for the quality. The owner Matt is also fantastic, very professional the times we have had him. Recommend bring cash not plastic.

My Dad is in a wheelchair and the Cut Bar is wheelchair accessible. My Dad wanted to sit in the barber chair instead of his wheelchair and they helped him into the chair . Negative experience: Worst place to ever. The lines aren’t even he gave me a fade even though I never asked for. I told him to trim the sides and back and leave the top long only take an inch or so off he started trimming everything without sectioning my hair. My hair is now way to short and extremely uneven. Don’t ever go here unless u wanna go bald because that’s all they’re good at. He was rude and had his AirPod in the whole time and acted like he didn’t care. If I could rate this in the negatives I would awful place never go here
