Fantastic experience: I took my 5-year-old son to the City Barbershop for his first haircut, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! My son was really apprehensive, especially with his long, curly hair, but CJ was amazing. He took extra time to make my son feel comfortable, reassured him that everything was going to be okay. The entire environment was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff and clear communication. They even accommodated us last minute, which was so appreciated. Highly recommend the city barbershop for anyone looking for a place that truly cares about their clients!

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience at this barber shop. I requested a mid fade, but ended up with what appears to be a regular top fade. The sides are much shorter than I wanted, and the result doesn’t match the photos I provided. The barber's technique left much to be desired, as hair was left on my face throughout the cut and there was no hot towel or straight razor cleanup as advertised. The overall service was far from relaxing, and the barber didn’t address the top of my hair until I mentioned it. When I asked for his recommendations, he didn’t offer any advice and instead only asked what I wanted, which was frustrating. He seemed more focused on finishing quickly rather than providing a thorough and professional service. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this barber shop.

I scheduled an appointment for my 17 year old son who was extremely happy with his hair cut after many failed visits to your typical chain stores. His hair is very curly and many barbers don’t seem to know what they’re doing with it. CJ was excellent, I would highly recommend!

Negative experience: This place is extremely toxic .. the owner Ahmed does not know how to cut hair . He opened a place on Tecumseh and Lincoln and butchered my hair . Then he had to close. Cause he’s horrible at cutting hair and no one wanted to work for him … Horrible place . If there was a rating less than 1 star I would give it that.!! The owner disrespected another barber cause she slipped and fell at work and he wants nothing to do with it . He is not a nice person. It’s extremely hard to book online as the website always fails . Then when you go in for a hair cut at a certain time they seem to have someone sitting in the chair while that was at your time .. Avoid this place .. toxic..

Fantastic experience: Definitely recommend... michael is amazing especially for scissor cutting and the new trending long styles! Very friendly and does an amazing job. The shop itself is very clean, a great size and has a great flow of customers, which shows that all barbers here are sought after. Will always continue to bring my teens to Michael for amazing cuts with great attention to detail. Even takes extra time to give some education on styling the new cut and products!

I just moved to Windsor and have been super hesitant to try a new barber as I’m super picky with my fades and lineups… Last time I went to this shop while visiting my gf in the summer I got the worst cut and it took about 5 months for my hair to grow back properly. I figured I’d go back with a lot more detail and photos of what I was looking for to give them a 2nd chance since I have a big meeting tomorrow and the man didn’t miss! So thankful I gave them a 2nd chance! I will be back!!!!

Positive experience: I sadly have to change my review to a 3 star sadly the last time i had went here my barber was quite rude, he didn't know how to do my hair the way i had asked and when he cut it, it was cut on an angle instead of straight back as i had asked for, i had to go to another barber to save the choppy mess that was made of my hair, ill probably still go back i just hope my experience will be better the next time

Positive experience: Some months ago I had my hair cut at the location on Tecumseh road near Lincoln. There was no wait, and I was in the area so I figured I'd check it out. I was quite pleased with the cut and service. I went back just recently to get my hair cut again but it was closed. When I called them they set up an appointment for me for the next day at noon. Upon arriving, there was no one there and the doors were locked. I called to find out if anyone was on their way and it was then I found out they had another location on Dominion road. Unfortunately, whoever set up my appointment didn't specify what location I was supposed to be getting my cut. Also, there is only 1 phone number for both of their locations.

Fantastic experience: I went today for my first haircut with Ahmed. He showed up on time and was super professional, friendly and also humble. I enjoyed the entire haircut, he did an amazing job. I am a loyal customer of theirs moving forward. The shop is well designed, it’s a welcoming friendly atmosphere plus super clean. I would give a 10/10 if possible. I recommend this place to anyone local to the region or travelling from somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: The city barbershop has some of the nicest interior design that I have seen in a barbershop locally. Every station is customized to the barbers liking, so it’s basically a mini story about everyone, which elevates this place even further. The customer service is incredible and Mohsin was the one who gave me my cut and he was great. Definitely would recommend this place and I will for sure be coming again.

Negative experience: I was 10 mins late and even though their COVID schedule indicated there's 30 minute time slots so it's impossible to get passed because nobody is allowed to sit and wait . I walked in and they had taken someone else . Disrespectful it's a shame I had tipped a full cut when I missed an appointment as I understand it can be frustrating. Classless

Negative experience: Went in asked for a cut for a faux hawk, and a line up. My hair is no where near even line up is bad and to top it off i paid 35 for it and then had to get it fixed. Total waste of time and money never will go back and dont recommend the over priced service
