Negatieve ervaring: If chaos had a headquarters, it would be this barbershop. I walked in asking for a simple trim. SIMPLE. I walked out looking like my barber closed his eyes, spun me around three times, and said, “Let’s freestyle.” My fade is fading in places it shouldn’t even exist. One side says “professional,” the other side says “midlife crisis.” The lineup? Crooked. My hairline is now shaped like a geography quiz. The barber kept stopping mid-cut to check his phone like he was waiting on stock market updates. Meanwhile, I’m sitting there watching pieces of my dignity fall to the floor with every snip. And the confidence at the end? “Looks good, right?” Sir. No. It does not. I didn’t get a haircut. I got a life lesson. Would I recommend this place? Only if you’re trying to avoid being recognized in public.

Fantastische ervaring: I went three times to Empire barbershop so far and always very happy with the great low fade haircut from Pedro, Ayham and Munir! All the staff at Empire are very friendly, attentive, skilled and professional! Highly recommended! And will continue to have my haircut there!

De sfeer is relaxed, het interieur stijlvol en het team super professioneel. Mijn kapper nam echt de tijd voor me en luisterde goed naar wat ik wilde — het resultaat was een strakke fade en perfect getrimde baard. Je merkt dat hier vakmanschap en passie samenkomen. Absoluut een aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar kwaliteit en service op hoog niveau!

Negatieve ervaring: Mijn zoon van 14 is vandaag geweest om zijn haar te knippen. Wij hadden gister via de website een afspraak om 14.10. Toen hij daar aankwam zeiden ze dat hij een dubbele afspraak heeft gemaakt en te laat was (hij was er 13.50). Eerst zeiden ze dat hij dubbel moest betalen maar liefst €80,- daarna werd het €17,50 extra. Ook moest hij bijna een uur wachten totdat hij geholpen werd, een andere klant zonder afspraak werd zelfs nog voor hem geholpen. Blijkbaar werkt het afspraak systeem niet goed waardoor er dubbel afspraak zo gemaakt is? Jammer dat er zo met minderjarige wordt omgegaan. Mijn zoon komt hier niet meer terug.

Fantastische ervaring: I received a very rushed and average haircut by one of the workers (who's name I don't want to shame). It was his last day and it showed. A 40 minute booked haircut which was over in 20 minutes. Bad finishing on the back. I did not receive what I asked for. It was disappointing, and I'm giving it a three star since the previous times the haircut was okay. *since - thank you guys at Empire for fixing my hair (and making it look really good now!). I appreciate the good intentions and professionalism.

I got lucky and found one for the same day. Booking was simple, easy and clear as to what you would get and with who. My barber was Kosta, who is a 10 year, highly experienced veteran. I always say the best barbers listen and the way you know that is when the barber repeats all of your requests. He did that with ease and his greeting was top tier. I went with a shave and he used both a trimmer and a straight blade. I'm very impressed with the work and this shop in general. The five ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ are legit and I would highly recommend coming here. I did some research and read a lot of reviews, and decided to go to the furthest barbershop due to the consistency of 5 ⭐️ reviews. I called 90 minutes to closing and Pedro was happy to take my better half in and stayed past closing time for us. He was kind and cool to converse with and gave us some food recommendations. He made us feel right at home. He took his time and cared about how my partner’s hair would turn out — fresh cut with a hint of sophistication.
