Fantastische ervaring: Fantastische vrijgezellen feest gehad van onze vriendin! Heerlijk gegeten (checken and waffel een aanrader) en onbeperkte pitchers met cocktails. Super bediening!

Fantastische ervaring: Lekkere cocktails en lekker eten! De bottemless brunch, was kort (1,5 uur) mag voor mij uitgebreid worden maar 2 uurtjes. Maaaaaar de service, top, top, top! In die 1,5 uur komt men geregeld langs vragen of je een drankje wilt. Zodra je glas voorbij de helft is. De cocktails hebben genoeg alcohol en het glas is niet teveel gevuld met ijs, waardoor je dan meer ijs hebt, dan cocktail.

Fantastische ervaring: Heb hier lekker gegeten met mijn vader en broertje. 1 van de lekkerste jerk chicken & chicken + wafels. Kom zeker terug!

Fantastische ervaring: Ed’s Caribbean Street Food restaurant: Awesome gem of an unexpected Caribbean restaurant in Amsterdam!! The food was VERY TASTY!!! The jerk chicken has a good kick and the meat falls right off the bone! Pepper pot was really good as well, great depth of flavor with the spices and the meat was very tender. This was my second time there, was great to introduce some family to it!! I will be back for sure!!

Fantastische ervaring: Al zeker 15 jaarkom ik bij Cut Throat. Sowieso moet dit by far de mooiste barbershop/kapsalon/bar van NL zijn, het pand is echt zo prachtig en sfeervol. De barbers zijn top of the bill. Gelukkig bieden ze nu ook junior barbers; net afgestudeerd en begeleid door een senior barber. Dus ook voor als je wat minder budget hebt.

Fantastische ervaring: We hadden gekozen voor de bottomless brunch. De drankjes waren goed en werden snel aangevuld. Het eten was echt heerlijk!!! We hadden jerk chicken en chicken & waffles. Complimenten aan de chef. De sfeer was goed; super vriendelijk personeel en goede vibes met de DJ. De ruimte was een beetje krap, maar dat maakte het niet minder gezellig. Echt een goede ervaring!

Le concept est vraiment original et la cuisine est incroyablement bonne. Tout ce que nous avons goûté était délicieux. Je vous recommande vivement de réserver si vous souhaitez déguster leurs plats, car le cadre est magnifique. Si vous cherchez un endroit pour un brunch afro, avec une ambiance je ne peux que vous recommander cet endroit.

Fantastische ervaring: Just come back from the bottomless brunch. Me and my girlfriend had such a good time. Music was great (Amapiano, Afrobeats, UK rap etc), food was great, struggled to each much because was was eating all day but they boxed it up for us so we could enjoy it back at the hotel, and the staff was great. Didn’t get the names of the 2 lads that was getting us drink but we also had Daphne serving us who was an about angel, she was so nice, pure and attentive to me and my girlfriend, she was amazing!

Fantastische ervaring: Cutthroat Barber & Food in Amsterdam is honestly the place to be for chicken and waffles and your go to place for Carribean street food. The chicken is super tender and incredibly juicy, just the way it should be. The maple syrup is amazing, and that sweet and savory combination is absolutely on point. Add the hot sauce on top and it matches perfectly with the chicken, while the waffle itself isn’t too sweet. Just perfectly balanced. It’s not only the best spot in Amsterdam for chicken and waffles, but also a must-visit if you’re into ultimate Caribbean food. And of course, my barber Taylor — absolute top guy. He cuts hair perfectly, every single time. Highly recommend. Taylor made tailor made cuts by my man Taylor.

Positieve ervaring: Heerlijk eten, leuke jongen uit Bosnië en de jongen die hoofdgerechten bracht waren erg vriendelijk en attent! Meisje (heet waarschijnlijk Taylor) onthaalde ons. We kregen de stomste tafel achter in de zaak terwijl er leuke bankjes waren. ‘For this time ok, because we don’t have reservations’ ‘did you decide if you want coffee? Then I can clean the coffeemachine?’ Totaal niet respectvol en vooral: onprofessioneel. De jongens maakten het verschil! Mooie zaak, eten is lekker maar Taylor is totaal niet geschikt, zonder glimlach, glazen waren werden totaal oncorrect neer gezet, deze persoon hoort niet in de horeca thuis. Jammer, want het is een leuke plek met goed eten.

Fantastische ervaring: I like that the vibe here is chill, and lowkey but still a really nice place you can dress up or down to go to. It’s Caribbean mixed with the Americas fusion type food - it’s actually really good. I’m from Jamaica and I think the Jerk Chicken here is amazing. If you’re looking for a cute spot to eat and you’re in Amsterdam I highly suggest trying this place.

Located in the old Berlage stock market building, the interior preserves its historic finishes while introducing cool, modern elements with the restaurant and connected barber shop. We came for brunch and while not a typical brunch menu, it certainly scratched the itch of the boozy brunches we miss from back home. The margs were on point, and the food was excellent. I had the pepperpot and it was just like I remember from the Caribbean, and my partner had a spiced chicken sandwich that he said was excellent. To top things off, there was a DJ playing all my fave 90’s R&B and hip hop jams. PS - gluten free friends, I’m Celiac and had a couple of very good options here, although much of the food was off limits which is to be expected for a Caribbean restaurant. This was a fantastic experience and 10/10 will come back.

Positieve ervaring: Ik had vooraf hoge verwachtingen maar vind het eigenlijk niet heel goed. Muziek stond loei en loei hard waardoor ik geen fatsoenlijk gesprek kon voeren en pijn had aan mijn oren. Lege glazen en borden halen was men vreemd. Tafels ranzig en belachelijk hoge prijzen. Maar eerlijk is eerlijk, de koks weten wel wat ze doen. De kip en wafel is een bijzondere combi maar was erg lekker !

Instantly fell in love with the vibe: raw brick arches, vibrant DJ beats, and that warm Caribbean scent greeting us. I tucked into spicy huevos rancheros—colourful, packed with flavour, and teamed with crispy fried chicken that hit every note. Meanwhile, the cocktails kept coming—my Bloody Mary was perfectly spiced, the mint in my mojito was so fresh it practically sparkled. Best bit? The staff. Attentive, genuinely friendly, always on hand to top us up or ask if everything was okay. That’s rare. By the end I was genuinely buzzed—not just from the bottomless cocktails, but from the vibe, the chat, the food. It wasn’t just a brunch, it felt like a mini celebration. I’m definitely coming back—hopefully soon. Want more? I’ve already texted our friends: “You have to try this.” Would absolutely choose this lunch again—and next time? Jamaican jerk chicken night, I’m calling it!

Fantastische ervaring: I've been coming here since 2016. The quality is unsurprisingly consistent, even if the barbers come and go. They all have their own authentic style which works for me. Always fantastic conversations. But the reason for writing my first review is Ryan. I think he's managed to deliver not only a fantastic conversation mixing interesting topics and light ones but he's given me the best haircut I've ever had. It's always great to meet someone who is a master at their craft but also deeply enjoys all aspects of this. Thanks Ryan and see you next time!

Positieve ervaring: Ik kom al jaren bij Cutthroat voor de bottomless brunch. De ringlight-photo"booth"(wall) wordt erg gewaardeerd en het eten blijft heerlijk, al is er wel echt merkbaar verschil in service met vroeger. Waar de cocktails vroeger écht bottomless waren (personeel kwam langs en je bestelde een nieuwe cocktail voor de oude op was), moet je nu regelmatig met een leeg glas wachten of zelf stappen ondernemen wanneer je een nieuw drankje wil. Dat is met de tijdslimiet inderdaad jammer. Aan de telefoon gaf ik aan dat een van de brunches alcoholvrij zou zijn en er werd gezegd dat dat in de prijs verrekend zou worden, maar bij het afrekenen werd dit (ook toen ik het aangaf) niet gedaan. €50 voor een chicken & waffles, 1 spa rood en één mocktail is wel echt te veel. Toch een fooi achtergelaten omdat ik er zo vaak kom en het personeel vriendelijk is (al zaten ze deze keer ook veel op hun telefoon, waardoor het lastig was contact te maken). Ook jammer dat er deze keer weinig/heel zachte muziek was (en geen dj). Voor het eerst in jaren licht teleurgesteld in Cutthroat.

По порядку: Пришла сюда по отзывам из Гугл карт, атмосфера внутри понравилась, ко мне сразу подошел официант (светловолосый, светлолицый, высокий с длинными волосами - подробно описала, потому что обслуживание очень понравилось). Он мне помог сделать выбор блюда, от которого я в восторге (Papperpot - томленная говядина один в один как чешский гуляш, который я думала не скоро ещё поем), позже, также помог с выбором коктейля, исходя из моих предпочтений (rum punch чем-то похож на май-тай). А вот в рисе специй слишком много на мой взгляд. Горячие блюда в пределах 25€ Музыка не громкая. Места мало, но так как было не многолюдно, мне было комфортно. На веранде можно сидеть только с напитками. С удовольствием бы вернулась. P.S мне не понятно, почему в одном месте оставляют комментарии про кафе и парикмахерскую - это странно + оценка может оказаться не достоверной (например, люди пишут плохо о стрижке, а другие не пойдут в кафе из-за низкого рейтинга)

Positieve ervaring: Cut Throat- and Ed’s Caribbean street food is a Barbers and restaurant. I’ve been many times in my food experiences and decided to revisit after being away for some time . I went with a friend on Saturday 15 February. I made a reservation and got a spot . Food was on point as usual I had Spare ribs that just fell apart from the bone -Scented rice and salad . My friend have vegetarian curry . We also have chips which were seasoned with some great flavours and a nice dip . To say we had an amazing time . Live dj playing R&B mixes and mash ups set the tone for the evening. Think we were the last to leave oh and they serve the Jamaican original Ginger beer works well with the food .

La cuisine proposée est principalement inspirée des saveurs caribéennes, avec des plats tels que le Jerk Chicken, les gaufres au poulet et les Spare Ribs. Les épices utilisées sont vraiment particulières et délicieuses. En plus de la restauration, Cut Throat est réputé pour ses cocktails que je n'ai pu testé et son ambiance chaleureuse avec un DJ et un staff très gentil. L'établissement propose également un brunch à volonté. Les prix sont très attractifs en considérant l'emplacement de ce lieu. Pensez à réserver avant d'y aller car l'établissement n'est pas tres grand.

Negatieve ervaring: We had a reservation for two for a bottomless brunch (1,5 hour unlimited cocktails/drinks and a main course). When we entered the place the music was way too loud to talk with the person on the other side of the table. They gave us a table but my partner preferred to sit at the bar, which the bartender was not very happy with but he accepted the choice. After 15 minutes they still didn’t ask us what we’d like to drink, even though we tried reaching out to order. In our opinion this is terrible service, so we left. We paid 10 euros deposit for the reservation, but are very happy we didn’t pay the other 90 euros for this shitty place. Also definitely feels like a tourist trap. Not completely related, but definitely important: Tourists go home.

The bottomless brunch is awesome but for a la carte it loses its value some. The staff is great but the service seems to be hit or miss lately.

Positieve ervaring: It’s rare to find Jamaican food in NL so I was pleased to discover this restaurant, centrally located at Beursplein. The interior is small and colourful with a laidback vibe. My friend enjoyed the pepper pot for dinner and I ordered the jerk chicken. Eating jerk chicken in Jamaica would set your mouth on fire so the restaurant tones down the spice nicely, without eliminating it altogether. The result was a generous serving of very tender and juicy chicken in a flavourful jerk sauce that still had some bite to it. While is typical to drink beer with this meal, we opted for Piscos, which were well balanced and delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoyed the experience and would definitely return.

Fantastische ervaring: I'm from Lousiana, so I'm finding good food while Amsterdam was challenging. We tried this spot on Wednesday, our last day. The vibe was nice, and the service was great. What made my experience rememberable was the cook. She came out, asked questions, made suggestions, and even let me sample the stewed beef. She even checked back on us after we were done to see if I ate all my food. She made us feel like visitors in her home. This was such a great little spot. Highly recommend!!!!!

Positieve ervaring: Heerlijk gegeten hier. Het eten was erg smakelijk! We waren met 4 vriendinnen en we hadden de Pepperpot, de Spareribs, de Chicken and waffles, de Jerk Hash en iedereen heeft genoten. Alles was erg smakelijk, de spareribs waren erg goed gekruid en het vlees was zo mals dat het van het bot viel. De sausen bij de gerechten waren ook heel lekker, vooral de pittige mango salsa! We hebben de chef mogen spreken, een hele vriendelijke, grappige dame die, net als ons, van Surinaamse komaf is. Ze weet waar ze over praat en heeft verstand van Caribbean food!! Bedankt Eudia voor het gezellig praatje! De bediening was ook erg vriendelijk! Tip: vervang de stoelen, de leuningen zijn te laag, waardoor ze niet erg comfortabel zitten. We komen zeker nog een keer terug en raden Cut Throat dan ook zeker aan.

Fantastische ervaring: Genuinely one of the best places in the city. The staff is incredibly attentive, helpful and fun. They make you feel welcome and do everything they can to make your visit the best, even during rush hour, even when the entire place is fully booked. The food and cocktails are delicious, with great vegan/vegetarian options. Have been here countless of times for both special occasions (ie celebrate a birthday) and just casual drinks/dinner (as well as fab parties), so I can confidently say their great service and delicious food & drinks weren't an one-off.

Fantastische ervaring: Gisteren voor ons hele team van 30 meiden een private comedy night kunnen krijgen bij Cutthroat Beursplein. Iedereen heeft zo genoten, alles was echt perfect geregeld! We hebben zo gelachen, heerlijk gegeten, unlimited drankjes kunnen krijgen, en dat alles werd de hele avond aan ons geserveerd zonder ook maar een moment de comedy show te verstoren. Bedankt voor deze geweldige avond! Echt een aanrader <3

Fantastische ervaring: Absolutely adore the concept here especially with the in-house DJ! The service was great and fast that we got our food in about 10min, we ordered their vegan dishes that include Vegan chicken & waffles, Vegan burger bites and Vegan Katsu Curry and honestly they were all a 10/10 so worth the price and the portions were more than filling! For a hot day i recommend trying their pineapple juice as it was the perfect combination with the food

Fantastische ervaring: Ontzettend leuke zondagmiddag gehad bij Cut Throat. Wij waren voor de bottomless brunch gegaan en dit was fantastisch! Je had amper je glas leeg en ze stonden al aan je tafel om het bij te vullen. Mijn vriend had de chicken & waffles en ik de vegan variant daarvan. Zó onwijs lekker! Echt heel positief verrast. Personeel heeft allemaal een super welkome uitstraling, heel vriendelijk en harde werkers. Wij komen zéker terug!

Fantastische ervaring: Had an amazing experience here! You get a great value for €49, it doesn't only include mimosas but other cocktails as well (picture attached). The food was incredible, and the staff was unbelievably attentive for it being a bottomless brunch (I have usually experienced servers trying to avoid you during bottomless brunches so you don't get as much), the staff even gave us a 10-15 minute warning in case we needed one more cocktail before our 90 mins was up. The quality of the cocktails were great too, we will absolutely be back here!

Positieve ervaring: Het eten was erg lekker, maar erg pittig. Service was goed en snel. De sfeer was goed, gelukkig stond de muziek niet te hard (in tegenstelling tot andere reviews).
