Even as a walk in the wait for a barber was reasonable and moved quickly. The haircut turned out really good. It was clean, sharp and exactly what I asked for. The barber made sure before finishing the haircut. You can tell they take pride in their work. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Supersam Barbershop.

Expérience fantastique: Love the haircut! Took their time and didn’t rush at all. Asked for confirmation throughout to make sure it looked how I wanted, and corrected anything I asked for. Showed the haircut all around with the mirror to check if it was what I wanted. Overall, I really liked the service — very professional!

Expérience négative: Won't be going back I called to ask if it was busy, they said no. Drove right there in 5 mins to find all 4-5 barbers with clients and more people waiting. I suspect they just said that to get people to show up. No one greeted me at the front, I just waited until several of the barbers told me to take a seat, it wasn't clear which barber seat they meant so I asked, they clarified not a barber chair, a waiting chair. The waiting area was out of sight from the front door so I had no idea where they were trying to direct me. I think there was a language barrier. Waited about 10 mins, seems like their system is to just say next when a barber frees up and the clients are expected to know the order. There were several men waiting before me I had no idea what my place order was. Eventually it was cleared up. I don't know my barber's name, all these reviews that mention their name are a bit suspicious. He barely spoke any thing the entire time. He didn't ask me what I wanted to do. I showed some pictures of the previous haircut I had that I liked for reference. He spent a LOT of time on the edges of my hair. I think they wanted to make sure the cut looked clean, which it did. But it wasn't what I showed them with my picture. At one point the barber asked if the top was ok, I mean I think that's what he was saying, it was hard to tell. Language barrier. At first I said yes because I just wanted to get out of there, but 20 seconds later I said actually I would like more of it cut....he didn't action my request. My cut wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I wanted. The service was rushed and chaotic, I felt like a coin purse in an assembly line. On the surface the place seems welcoming and attentive, but in practice I felt ignored and just another transaction. They didn't offer me any product for my hair. Which I am used to at every other place I've ever had haircuts. Any lastly, they don't accept credit, only cash and debit, and guess what their debit was down. So I had to walk to the closest ATM and get cash at fee then walk back to pay. Seems like some customers were happy, but I won't be going back, like seriously.

They seem to think they know how the haircut u been getting for years ar other barbers should like As if what they think and want is best. When u ask for a tweak at the end since ofc I dont expect a barber I just met to do the same haircut as I got before. But when u say the tweak etc, they dismiss ignore and say it would look worse etc Even my friend who recommend I go here, they one time told him to cut his hair shorter it would look better ruined his hair I am not making this up. I think they are skilled talented and nice. But some of their barbers seem to want to cut ur hair and style it the way they want. Instead of forgetting it's my head And no I am not some difficult whining customer.

Expérience négative: This was my second visit here. The first time, the service was good, but the second time was disappointing. The barber seemed to be in a hurry or annoyed, and he cut my hair very quickly. My hairline ended up uneven, and when I asked for a 1-to-0 number fade, he said it would cost an extra $5. I wouldn’t have minded paying, but given how rushed and careless the cut felt, I just let him finish. I won’t be taking the risk of coming back here again.

The price is extremely reasonable, but bring cash or debit as they don't take credit which caught me off guard as well as the lack of tip prompt, but I'll be getting this guy back when I inevitably return again.

After a short wait time and quick trim here, I ended up looking so good my wife asked if we could renew our vows on the spot. If it weren't for Sam's I'd probably be divorced and financially destitute, but thankfully I'm still married and doing great! Best barbershop in Ottawa, seriously - good people, good location, good rates, and fades so clean you could cut yourself on them.

The speed, the precision, the mind reading of what I wanted. This is the difference between a haircut and going to a barber. Not hipster pricing either. Expérience négative: Disappointing experience. A new, untrained barber was assigned to my haircut, and despite my request for a skin fade with a shorter top, the result was uneven and poorly done. What concerns me even more is that the high ratings here don’t reflect the service I received — it feels like many of the 5-star reviews may not be genuine. For that reason, I cannot recommend this shop. DO NOT GO AND WAIST YOUR MONEY THERE ‼️
