Expérience fantastique: This morning, I went in for a shave and beard trim, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. As soon as I arrived, the barber greeted me warmly and made me feel comfortable, taking the time to ask what style I was going for and making sure he understood exactly what I wanted. Throughout the service, he was attentive, professional, and clearly skilled, paying close attention to detail while also making good conversation that added to the overall experience. By the time he was done, my beard looked clean and well-shaped, and I felt genuinely taken care of. Overall, I received great customer service from the barber at the shop, and I left feeling confident and satisfied with the quality of the work.

Expérience négative: I called before I went to the shop, the barber said I could come in 10 minutes and I showed up in 5. Then waited around 20 minutes for my turn. During my haircut the barber was mostly busy talking to his boss, he imagined for some reason I got my past haircut at top notch barber shop for some reason because maybe I look Indian and he mentioned it himself he thought this because the workers over there are Indians. The judgement felt quite unnecessary. Then after he was done talking since his boss left, he rushed into the haircut. When I asked him to make a little change, he was quite rude and said he has been doing hair cuts for years and knows what looks best on ME! Yes me! and then mentioned that he is in a hurry. I told him that I had called before I came and you should have told me if I should come or not. Well luckily his boss came back and he became super nice, his boss noticed the mistake as well but by then I just wanted to pay and get out of that place. Overall my haircut experience was extremely bad. Never visiting again

Expérience fantastique: I live in the area, and saw the signs many times on my way in and out of the neighbourhood. First time here, and it left a very pleasant impression (please keep in mind I hit up the shop on a Thursday where business was at a lull, and that was by design). I was just a straight-up walk-in and they took me instantly. Mostafa was my barber that day and I would gladly ask for him again. The work was fast, comfortable, and above all, to my liking (I got a skin fade around my head and had the bulk of my crown layered and shortened). The price was very good for me at $30 before tax and tip. I used to pay upwards of $80 for a full barber experience. Granted, I would still do that if I had both the time and money for a "spa-like" treatment. But getting something similar to that at 50% the price and time is SUPER convenient for me and my life. Gonna visit Mostafa more when I need a job done right and quick!

Expérience fantastique: Just happened to be headed for a haircut and saw some of the 1 star reviews and thought I’d leave my 2 cents! This is by far the best barbershop in Ottawa and likely within 200km of Ottawa. I come all the way from Brockville for a cut every 3-4 weeks. The cuts and beard work are always impeccable. I generally find a barber I like and stick with them. Unfortunately there’s a bit of turnover, but they always replace barbers with top notch guys. Amir was great until he left. I then switched to Abdo and now he’s gone too to start his own barbershop on the east coast (best of luck!), now either Mustafa or Louis takes care of me. Both are outstanding guys. Both of these guys go the extra mile with a face scrub, hot towels, aftershave/cologne… your ladies won’t be able to keep their hands off you once they’re done! The owner, Roy, a genuinely good guy. I’ve tried a few other spots over the years out of convenience and I always end up back at Greenbank for a fix. Thanks fellas!
