Fantastic experience: Absolutely phenomenal place. Ask for Mycah- he’ll get you right everytime!! My old barber at a different spot moved somewhere else, so I needed a new one and found that this place was close by. I booked an appointment and haven’t looked back since- Prices are good, barbers are friendly, licensed, professional, personal, and go the extra mile. There was even one time I couldn’t come in during my scheduled appointment time, (and I wasn’t able to give enough notice on the cancellation) and Mycah STILL hooked me up at no extra charge, being flexible and moved my appointment time around.

Fantastic experience: Mycah is so amazing, not only did he did amazing haircut he was super friendly and knowledgeable about what products to use for my type of hair and hair cut. Definitely tell he is passionate about what he does.

I happily come from Plano/Frisco to get cuts from Ivan and will continue to do so.

Always on time, never in a rush, and always a great experience at District. Clean, professional, and a great full service shop to hang out and enjoy the interactions and conversations in between cuts. The other barbers do a wonderful job as well, but when you find a barber like Marcus you never go to anyone else again. Highly recommend District for all of your grooming needs. Like anything, you get what you pay for and to my family it’s worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a drastic transformation cut that I expected to take at least an hour and was in an hour within 30 minutes. I had a lot and I mean A LOT of hair and Marcus took great care of me. He seamlessly gave me exactly the cut I was looking for and for a great price. Fantastic experience: Ive been going to District for 4 years and refuse to go anywhere else. My barber, Ivan, has incredible attention to detail and has always been able to create the look and cut that Ive asked for. From what Ive seen over the years, everyone there has a high level of skill and Ive never seen a cut on someone that didnt look good walking out the door. Everyone in the shop gets along really well but doesnt feel "clicky" and the banter is just enough to be entertaining, but not distracting enough to slow the appointments down. There's usually a good movie or some sports on the tv's, the music is great, and the vibe is right! I would absolutely recommend this shop if youre looking for a good spot in Fort Worth!

Negative experience: Boooooo don’t waste your time coming here… I travel a lot for work needed a proper haircut, I work in the entertainment industry so I have to look on point all the time. So I get there and basically the guy told me he ONLY had time to do my hair cut but not my facial hair… smh had I had known this I wouldn’t had wasted my time and money on a Uber to come to this place…. Smh bad customer service

Fantastic experience: Called about 2 hours early for a same day appointment and got in. Started promptly on time, and the barber did a great job. Efficient and great cut. Probably the best military fade I've gotten in years. For those traveling to down town, this is a good spot to get a fade. The walk from downtown isn't that far (about a mile), but it will probably be a little sketchy at times. Take a ~$5 Uber ride, and save some sweat. No complaints about this District. Solid work!

Fantastic experience: Ivan gotta be the best one here, if you want a clean cut in 30 minutes, without a doubt this is the location for you, I've been coming here for about 2 years now and have never had a bad experience!!!

Negative experience: When you pay $40 base price for a simple fade cut (no work needed on top) you'd expect the barber to know what they're doing. After showing them a picture of what I wanted and pointing out certain details. They totally messed up my fade and to try to fix it he messed with the top and it came out even worse. Didn't know how to transition the top from the sides and was very disappointing. I even mentioned various concerns about my cut and I made it clear I was frustrated. I at least thought the barber would acknowledge the fact that it didn't look like what I wanted and offer some sort of solution whether it's a voucher to come back or a discount. I'm sure there are a very select few great barbers that work here. So unless you know who you're going to for your cut, I would avoid walk-ins at all cost. 90% of the barbers in here were doing poor jobs on their guests and not one cut looked like it was worth 40+ dollars or even $25. I suggest the owners either invest in training their staff or lower their prices to match the expectation. I'd like to give this place another shot and I'd be willing to go back, but the risk of another disappointing cut is all too high.

Fantastic experience: Over the years, I have been to many barbershops, but The District has been the best by far. Specifically, Marcus is not only a great barber, but his level of professionalism is second to none. I can always count on Marcus being timely without sacrificing a great haircut. If you are looking for a barbershop and a barber, The District & Marcus is the only option.

Fantastic experience: I got stuck in Fort Worth thanks to DFW issues. Needed a beard trim and head shave. I came to District, and was assigned to Stephen. Stephen was courteous and did an excellent job. Definitely reccomend.

Negative experience: Decent haircut but little to no experience with beards. Paid $30 bucks extra and my barber couldn’t get the job done. Not enough attention to detail. I’ll have to find another place to get the job done. If you market as an trendy upscale barber, need to make sure your barbers know what they’re doing.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many barbershops, but this place is in a whole tier of its own. Jose cut my hair and did an amazing job, and the hot towels are a next level addition, Dennis is always so kind and patient with my two year old son, offering snacks and even took his phone out for him to watch cartoons. You absolutely cannot pass this place up!

Positive experience: Haircut was great ...however, why does your online scheduling system allow appointments to be booked on Saturdays for 2 pm and 2:30 pm, but then you get to the shop and they close at 2? Doesn't make sense

Looking through the list of barbers to cut my hair… I only thought of who would genuinely cut my hair and offer me a safe space. Jesse Arreola was a first choice of trust. I have been to barbers who put themselves first before a client but when I went in person Jesse greeted me and treated my “undercut” as a full blown men’s haircut. After the first cut, I continued to keep my cuts with him. Today, he continues to keep the same authenticity of his work on my hair cuts. I went from an exceptionally messy bun to a comb over, to a comb over burst fade.. to now a round low taper… whatever you can imagine.. Jesse Arreola does it all.
