Fantastic experience: Meaghan has been cutting my hair for nine years since moving from NJ. It was hard to find someone that can do a proper fade and once I found her I won’t let anyone else touch my hair. Barber shops are based on the barbers and atmosphere and they do it right. Not sure about these other reviews complaining about music or language, I never had a problem.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been getting my hair cut by Antwan for the past 10 years—he’s hands down one of the best barbers around. Consistent, professional, and always makes sure you leave looking good. His new location is downtown st.petersburg at the sun dial which is one of the best locations you can have in st.petersburg. Modern, and they even offer complimentary beer, which is a nice touch in my opinion. Highly recommend checking him out if you’re looking for a top-notch cut and a chill experience.

Negative experience: I have never been so disgusted in my life as I am getting a cut a client comes in greets his barber and the language they use was so unprofessional I can’t even say how they were talking. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I will never return to a place like that. I thought I was paying for a professional cut in a professional setting what I saw was more a shop that you find in the hood in a city. Can’t charge that price if the environment isn’t. Save your money go across the street.

Negative experience: I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with my experience at the St. Petersburg Sun Dial location. I was waiting for my wife to have her hair done at another salon and decided to take a walk when I came across your establishment. I had some time and thought I could get a clean shave while I waited. I entered as a walk-in and was informed that it would take approximately 15 minutes for a Master Hot Shave. I accepted the offer. Your team was very pleasant, which is not my complaint. However, I was charged $40 plus a tip for a “Master Hot Shave” that did not include the services I had been informed of. Upon receiving the shave, I was surprised to find that the barber had only used a hair trimmer to trim the very minimal hair on my face, followed by a few passes with an electric razor, and then finished with an alcohol wipe down. No hot towel or straight razor was used as advertised. I was particularly disappointed when he removed the cape and declared that he was done. Your website clearly states the services included in the Master Hot Shave, and my appointment reminder confirms that this is what I had booked. I have emailed requesting a refund and I highly recommend that you avoid this establishment.

I moved to Florida two years ago and without question Meaghan is the most detailed perfectionist with her craft! Negative experience: My husband and I just moved to downtown and he needed to find a new barber. Well this was the most expensive, basic cut he has ever had! $50 for a line up and beard trim, mind you did not touch the top of his head! Then didn’t even pay the barber, has to pay up front. Then want tip ontop of the $50, even tho he complained about it not being done correctly. I do not advise anyone going to this barber shop. Over paid hack jobs. You could see lines in his head still. Do Not Go!!

I was nervous going there at first considering I only ever trusted one barber in my entire life but once I got my first cut from Beniah that all changed. He's a great barber and great to talk to.
