My husband and I felt welcome the moment we walked through the door and that feeling continued throughout the entire service experience. Denise is a master of her receptionist craft; she started and ended our experience with a bang. My husband enjoyed his barber cut experience while I waited in the lobby. As I sipped on complementary wine, Denise seamlessly and fluidly multitasked her intake & check out services all while making me feel like I wasn’t sitting there alone. It is apparent she has several years experience in this line of work and loves her job!

Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic. The lady who greets you when you walk in immediately makes you feel like they’re taking care of you from the moment you walk inside. I had a lovely IPA while waiting for my friend to finish his haircut. Britt is a fantastic barber so make sure you ask for her when you go. 10/10, will come here forever.

Fantastic experience: In town for a wedding. My nephew recommended this spot and they did not disappoint. They accept walk-ins which most places do not. I was greeted by a friendly hostess who offered me a drink while I waited. The waiting area is full of comfy leather chairs. They have arcade games, televisions and a bar with several brews on tap as well as wine. This is a real barber shop that offers more than just fades and my barber, Nick was very professional and provided an outstanding service. Thank you, Shave Cave!

Negative experience: So impersonal, transactional, and poor community experience. I booked an appointment for 3:40 and was 15 minutes late. They said, Britt has a customer coming in 10 minutes. Does that mean they only allocate 25 minutes per customer? That’s insane. They made me pay $50 for 15 minutes. When I expressed that this isn’t right for me to pay for a service I didn’t receive, Britt and the front desk condescendingly said “babe… you took my time”… well “babe, you’re taking my money with nothing in return”. The right thing to do would be to reschedule me right then rather than asking for payment for a service I didn’t receive. INSANE. You literally lost a customer over 15 minutes. Terribly policy. Think about your community vs. short term gains.

Fantastic experience: Britt did a fantastic job sculpting my beard—her attention to detail is top-notch. As a military veteran, she brings that same discipline and precision to her work, and it truly shows. On top of being meticulous, she has a terrific sense of humor that made the whole experience enjoyable. Britt is top-notch. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for quality work and great conversation!

I bring the kids and wife here sometimes when we're passing through town and my kids will play games while my wife sips on wine while I get a fresh cut... NEEDLESS to say not the average barbershop! My go-to barber here is a big guy named Shawn. I am a military guy and go to him anytime when I need to look my best. He is great at perfect and flawless fades, usually I get a high and tight with a slight comb-over. He takes his time and I believe it is so he doesn't let you leave with any stray hairs or blemishes. His blending of the fade is great compared to other experiences where I am left with a noticible line. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: The place is amazing, but their scissors cut is not good. My hair is straight and I asked for a classic cut, the barber I know did his best but with my experience throughout years with my hair, he didn’t know how to cut it very properly.

Negative experience: If you are a no show they will charge you for your appointment. I checked in at 12:30 with Alex for my 12:50 appointment with Kirsten. It was taking a while, and when I checked the time I realized it was one and asked them if I was still getting my cut. They said she was finishing up with someone. I waited patiently, and when I checked the time it was now 1:10. Nobody was at the front desk so I walked over to Kirstens station only to find that someone else was having their hair cut. Someone else was given my appointment while I was sitting right next to the front desk. There is no other explanation if they are 20-30 minutes. The first desk person was apologetic about it, but it wasted a midday block of my weekend day. Yes it appears like a half hour of time but I left early to get there on time; not to mention I have been going here for over a year. I'll find another place to get my hair cut, as I would recommend to you if you value your time. Thanks for wasting my time Shave Cave.

Negative experience: I literally never write reviews but I feel like I have to in this situation. I feel so dumb for wasting my money at this place, my barber Tommy was being very vocal during the cut about how he needed to speed the haircut up so he could leave, and he made it even more obvious he didn’t care when he kept dropping the scissors and rushing thru certain parts. I honestly wanted to say something at the checkout, but when you get a bad haircut, you just wanna disappear immediately you know? Anyways, I wouldn’t recommend anyone here, and wish I asked for my money back. I feel bad mostly for my girlfriend, because now she has to date a guy with this haircut. Thanks Tommy!!

The attention to detail is excellent, and for my hair the use of scissors and a final cleanup with a straight razor are perfect. They have a great staff and I use Humberto who is a real pro. Thumbs up!

Negative experience: Take a pass on this place and just go to a normal place for haircuts. Over 35 minutes late for my appointment... I even pushed back an important work call to buy a little time after they promised it would be soon. If this is truly a place for men, why doesn’t it respect a man’s busy work schedule?

Negative experience: If I used the words I wanted to use for this awful shop, I would be banned from Google maps. Worst barber I've ever had and overpriced for an awful job of a simple buzz cut. Paid ahead of time and he threatened to keep my money for "wasting his time asking questions" and not give me the haircut. He also told me I couldn't change my haircut because he was fully booked. The silly root beer they give you for free does not make up for the horrible service, cut, and threats to hold my money without giving me one. I've had an eyebrow trim, beard trim, and fade buzzcut for half the price of this mess. Go somewhere else

Fantastic experience: Was a pleasurable first experience at the Shave Cave and would be interested to go back. If I could give Britt 10 stars I would, but Google only allows me to hand out 5 stars. I was slightly hesitant spending as much on a haircut, but the experience was worth it. This isn’t your normal chain haircut experience, it was a premium haircut and beard trim. Fantastic experience: So I haven't been to a barbershop in probably 30 years since I shave my head. My kids paid for me to go here for the full deal - beard trim, manicure, pedicure... This place is great. I got there late due to traffic but they accommodated me anyway. Chris did a quick, efficient job of my beard, trimming it up beautifully, but the star of the show was Melody. She treated me like I was the only one in the shop (I wasn't) and took the time to explain everything and make me feel comfortable. Plus, beer! I'm not a "spa" person but I will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: THEY CARE ABOUT YOUR HAIR. I booked a haircut online and chose the first barber I saw. When I walked in, the barber I selected (Britt) asked me if I was planning to keep my mullet. When I said yes, Britt recommended me to another barber in the shop who Britt stated was “Really good at mullets”. The fact that instead of accepting my business, Britt recommended me to someone else in the shop that is a better fit for my hairstyle, says everything you need to know about this shop. Their priority is to have your hair looking as good as possible when you leave. Will be going to Shave Cave from now on without a doubt. Fantastic experience: Love this place... easy to book... staff is super friendly. Can't beat the Beer upon arrival, the or hot towel shave... Most importantly got give love to JJ. He is a surgeon with the shears, and a technician with the straight razor. My beard is absolutely dialed. Fantastic experience: I'm usually a tightwad when it comes to barber shops but this place was worth the splurge. I arrived early and settled into a comfortable chair with a complimentary cold beer, then had the pleasure of having a haircut and hot towel shave with Lamar. He took great care with the blade (bringing in new ones twice so they'd be sharp), and with the hot towels and shaving oil, etc., made it an experience rather than a chore. Five stars to him and to the shop; I'll be back.

Fantastic experience: Let me just praise this Barber shop for a min. This place is a bit expensive, but my god they treat you like ur going to a wedding the next day. All the barber's are cool so just buddy up with the person you can vibe with. I've also consistently gotten the facials here and my confidence shots up every time being able to have my face treated while basically meditating. Fantastic experience: Been a client of Tanner's at the Shave Cave for...gosh over 2 years now and haven't looked back. The consistently excellent cuts are one thing but where he goes above and beyond is his openness to my questions about hair, hairstyles, hair products, you name it. Stellar barber with a lot of knowledge; an asset to the team for sure. Otherwise the establishment itself is a top notch barber shop.. Clean, well-decorated, great front-desk staff, with an awesome dog who takes up space in the waiting chairs from time to time...but is always open to a pet or two. I recommend this shop to everyone.

Fantastic experience: The shave cave is a great place for an haircut or beard trim. I have tried a few different places around town and this one is my favorite. I always go to John, who is the only barber I have trusted to trim my handlebar mustache. I am an Army Vet and so is John so that is a plus for me for him to be my go to barber. All the barbers here are amazing at what they do. I also love that they offer you a beer as well. They do validate parking in the garage due to parking always being a pain downtown.

After moving from NYC, it was tough for me to trust a "go-to" barber. I've been to the Machine Shop, Man Cave, etc & I can definitely say Shave Cave is hands down the best for consistency and fostering a welcoming, chill atmosphere, which everyone looks forward to when getting a haircut. Additionally, the owner has put in so much work to revamp their social media/marketing efforts and ensure the shop is running at 100 % quality at all times ! Kudos to the Shave Cave team !

Fantastic experience: Awesome barber shop with amazing barbers! I've been getting my hair cut by Tanner for years now and he's yet to ever disappoint! Every time I leave with a clean cut, beard trim, and fresh level of confidence. Definitely recommend, and Tanner in particular!
