Fantastic experience: Been seeing Andi for 2 years now and I always love my cut. They are very professional, friendly, and skilled! Coming here and leaving fresh is always a bright spot in my day (:

Negative experience: Time is money and if you had a good cut with a particular barber stick with them. The barber I had today didn't seem like a regular one, maybe part timer, didn't think my time was important and spent about 40 just working on a low fade, which isn't what i asked for or showed him. Sure, my hair will grow back and I can get another cut later, but don't pre-set your device to get hand out on tips if you can't provide a high quality hair cut. if your time isn't important, dont' charge 40$ for a hour of work.

Negative experience: Bad service I went yesterday for a cut I made a appointment online when I got their I got attended ounce I sat down I explained what cut I wanted and proceeded to cut my hair but then 10 min later they tell him he has a appointment at 4:30 and that he was gonna be late witch at that time it was 4:45 so he just started rushing my hair cut witch I didn't like so I told him that I didn't like it and he had te do a whole different cut he said at the end he messed up beard and bad hair cut guy doesn't even know how to cut hair

Negative experience: the staff is friendly…..if you are someone who knows what a top notch fade should look like, then go elsewhere. The “Fade” I got was something you could get at fantastic Sam’s for $30-40 less, the blade work was basically pointless as the barber was obviously new and scared, blending was all over the place, overall a big disappointment.

Negative experience: I made an appointment and wasn't seen for almost 30 min. The barber didn't clean the station from the previous haircut, so I ended up stepping all over hair. When I asked them to thin my hair out, they cut my hair even shorter than I wanted. My hair is pretty short, so the style I ended up with is manageable, but it was not what I asked for.

Negative experience: I asked for a fade he completely shaved my entire head and didn’t even fade it. I look like a Mr potato head doll all messed up. When I asked for them to fix it they said they will only either do a refund or fix it but the thing is there’s no hair left to fix! I just wanted them to blend it more. I think the guy had a personal vendetta against me I mean it doesn’t even look like he tried. He shaved off my entire back of my head baby bottom smoooth! I just asked for a fade :( I’m not sure why I got targeted but I’m white they are all African American maybe that’s it idk but it’s my hair man that’s not kewl. It will take me 6 months to grow my hair out to just have it be able to cut again to maybe fix this mess. My hair grows very slowly. I loved this place always went here. Never will again.

Negative experience: First of all, this place is not recommended unless you are of lighter skin color. I went there yesterday 08/28/2024 around 5 with my nephew to just get a fade up. When we entered the shot 2 Latinos were waiting to get cut and there were only 2 Barber available and they were cutting hair at the time. Once they were done with those 2, they called the 2 Latinos * they normally do appointments or just sign your name and wait to be called* after cutting those 2 Latinos it was me and my nephew left, but I noticed the other barber left unnoticed, and the other guy was black skinny about 6 feet tall, instead of alerting us that they either wanna close and go or do not wanna server us they made us sit and wait for more than 40 minutes just to find out the guy can't cut hair or have no clue what tool to use to shape up the kid hair, waste my time, was my money and messed up the kid hair line, and after all he have the guts to tell me he can't do 2 hairstyles because the camera is watching him I noticed something about Minneapolis, people here are either awkward or not use too socialize. I wish I could post the kid photo to justify my point but since the Internet is a sick place and privacy is dignity I can disrespect his dignity to just prove that ignorant can't cut hair.

Negative experience: When I go in I was hoping for a mid taper fade. Instead I get turned around so I can’t see how long or short my hair is getting cut and they shaved 80 percent of the back part of my head. I even should them a picture and they still screwed it up. Would not go again

Fantastic experience: Moved to the area from out of state. First barber I went to and best barber. Andi does an amazing job at cutting hair and is always fun to talk to. 10/10

He did the hair how I asked but also gave me more insight of how it would look and made sure I was on board with how he was cutting it. Negative experience: About 3 months ago, Jeezy absolutely ruined my head. My confidence went way down until my hair grew back out. He almost seemed aware of how bad I looked, and started laughing under his breath. That was the first and will be the last time I go into Stilo

Fantastic experience: Been going here for 5 years. I started getting haircuts from Ammar 6 months ago, and make sure to choose him every time now. He (like everyone else) is always punctual. He also is willing to give detailed recommendations - I changed how I get my sides cut on his advice and am liking it a lot more. There is a recent negative review on here about him that I feel is incorrect. It is about a day where the power went out on the barbershop’s block and appointments had to be canceled. I had an appointment that same day, that also had to be postponed due to the power outage. Ammar called me over an hour before my appointment to let me know the situation, and even offered to return to the shop late that evening once the city had fixed it. His communication around this unavoidable cancellation was quick, clear, and well-done. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Avoid Ammar if you can. He no-showed to one of my appointments (no call, text, nothing) then cancelled another appointment via text 20mins before the scheduled time that I booked 2 days in advance. He has decent skills for a barber, but you can find way better and more reliable elsewhere.

Negative experience: I got a haircut there and there was this big dude at the cashier counter who cut my hair. He messed up my lining as one side did not match the other and gave me cuts on the back of my neck which hurt. Very unprofessional and worst haircut I have ever gotten in my life.

Negative experience: The barber shop is not all bad. I usually go to Ammar and I recommend him since he does a good job. However I came in for a walk in and went to the the next available barber since Ammar was not available and I asked for a low taper as well as a bit off the top. It was not symmetrical or evenly cut anywhere. The back looked horrible and my hair had random chunks cut off in the top. This was the worst cut I’ve ever had and I couldn’t believe when he abruptly finished while it seemed like he was midcut by saying cash or credit without offering a mirror or asking how it looked. Do not ever come here without a reservation.

Negative experience: I had an appointment with Chevy - honestly the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten in my life. He wasn’t able to follow my instructions and give me the haircut that I asked for. I was constantly reminding him how I wanted it done to the best of my abilities (mind you I’m not a barber nor do I know all of the technical terms) and he still couldn’t put it together. Terrible cut and it was 50 dollars. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to get a cut from him.

Negative experience: Literally the worst hair experience I have ever had. Went in asking for a low taper and for my top not to be touched, came out with basically a buzzcut. The hair stylist did not understand what I was asking for at all. What is left my hair is chunky and not blended to the point that I am convinced that the stylist did not understand how to blend. Several people came in while I was cutting and left when they saw the state of my hair. I have had better experiences at sports clips. DO NOT COME HERE.

Fantastic experience: Kaleb not only did an amazing job on my son's cut, with a unique design, but he actually took the time to talk to him. It's something so simple that most barbers we've seen don't do. We will definitely be back to see Kaleb soon.

Fantastic experience: I just came in to get most of my overgrown hair off, I only get haircuts a couple times a year but I do like looking nice from time to time. I had Jorgie cut my hair and he was super chill to talk to, my hair gets super thick so it usually takes a while but he was finished pretty quickly. It looks super nice he is definitely skilled and I've been getting complements. My brother in law asked where I got it cut, apparently Jorgie cuts his hair too so I would definitely recommend he knows what he's doing. Edit: Just coming back to say these dudes never screw up a cut. I have been back multiple times for a walk in and have been very satisfied every time.

Negative experience: My boyfriend went there did haircut but he went back home with really upset feelings. The haircut wasn’t that bad but he still spent more then 1 hours to get fixed his hair after he paid for do this haircut. Why this is happened? Because Deon was on the phone call with someone all this time while doing the haircut for my boyfriend. There was no communication. He didn’t ask what my boyfriend want and like or if is okay with this style, this long and short. I’m sorry this is really disappointed… that’s why I left this message here.

Fantastic experience: Been working with the one KD in uptown. He's been helping me find a good fitting hairstyle and I've been really satisfied with his work. I now come in about once a month ta two. He isn't there to chat my ear off, or hustle me to come in sooner then my budget and hair needs are. He's accommodating when his calendar gets full( often it is full). Also as a guy who need tips in home styling with product, he's been very helpful in techniques based on my type of hair. Go for a KD Cut!
