Negative experience: I booked an appointment online for a men's haircut. When I showed up on time, the business owner told me that the barber hasn't made it in and probably won't for the rest of the day! HOW DO YOU HAVE A BARBERSHOP WITHOUT ANY BARBERS? What a Hoot! Guys, this is NOT a serious business. There are plenty of better places to get a haircut in MN.

Fantastic experience: I had been going to the same barber for 8 years straight, David has changed that permanently. He does outstanding work in an efficient manner. My hair is brutal to cut. He got it figured out immediately and gave me a fantastic scissor cut. Super friendly guy, great vibe in there and at a reasonable price too.

Negative experience: I’ll keep it straightforward. Overpriced and barber was rough on my hair. Not exaggerating, I swear. My barber was Abel and he kept pulling my hair to my the point my eyes were being lifted. Never had a barber comb my hair after mousse applied to my hair? That hurts like hell. Had hair on my right leg but thankfully he blew it off but there’s still some. Then charged me $52??… Gaslighted myself cuz I thought it was $45. Ended up paying $5 for tip because common courtesy. So in total $57. I regret not asking why it was $52. Another barber saw the price after we couldn’t scan my card for the payment so there’s my witness. If that was the tip, he never told me. Idk man….been to many affordable barbershops and there are better places. Maybe it’s the barber, bad day? Going to ask a different barber to fix it. Im sorry trust me, I’m not rude. I’m just simply telling the truth. Below is what I wanted vs what I got. Drove home very pissed. I’m just laughing at my experience not gonna lie.

Fantastic experience: Liam is hands down one of the best barbers I’ve been to. He’s surgical with the shears, especially clean with tapers, and really knows how to work with curly hair. What I appreciate most is how easy he is to communicate with he listens, understands style, and always gets the cut right. If you’re looking for a barber who combines skill with attention to detail, Liam’s your guy.

Didn’t know this placed existed normally go to Great Clips honestly but paying a bit more for good stylists and barbers is worth it. Especially this place. Great area too little hidden but maps should direct you right down there by North Loop Green. 100% my new place.

Fantastic experience: It had been quite a while since I had my hair cut since I literally went to get my hair cut directly after leaving the hospital after weeks of being in there, so there was a lot to work with. Also, I had no clue what I wanted, so I had asked David (my stylist) to do something he thinks would look good on me. He washed my hair, and then started to cut away. Once done, I was beyond happy with how it looked. I have been flaunting around so everyone can see how good it looks lol. I’m very happy that David was my stylist. He was very friendly, and asked lots of questions about me, which made me feel like an important client, and besides that, we have the same name, so that makes everything even better. I do plan on keeping him as my stylist, and have him do whatever he wants every time I go in. I am very happy I found studio AZ, and have no plans to go anywhere else. Fantastic experience: Drew is the curl master and gave me the best hair cut of my life. My hair was a bit out of control after letting it grow for a while so it definitely needed some work. I was also a bit nervous going to a new barber so I wasn't sure what to expect. For the longest time, I never knew how my hair should truly be cut and this guy cracked the code. I have only ever had a handful of people cut my hair and they did a fine job but when you get a haircut that makes you look in the mirror and say “wow, I look good”, you know you found the right barber. He exceeded my expectations and it came out freaking amazing. He was great to chat with and really helped me understand a lot more about my curly hair and how to take care of it better.

(My barber told me it’s actually classified as a historical building). My barber, Drew, is excellent at what he does and I would recommend him for anyone looking for a new barber. Fantastic experience: Drove 45 miles to get an absolute disaster of a haircut fixed, and Albe did an AMAZING job. He is a master barber and really knows how to work the contours of the head and the angles of growth to produce a very consistent and balanced cut. Albe’s attention to detail is one of his value props. The shop itself is very well located, clean and has a good atmosphere.
