Positive experience: My personal experience here was a 3 I enjoyed the feel of the fresh cut after getting my hair cut my only issue is the way folks take there sweet time today talk and have conversations that could have been had over the phone instead of cutttmg hair other than that I enjoyed my service and experience

Fantastic experience: Small world—I used to go to Tim the Master Barber’s shop back in NYC. Tim is a great guy and the place is always buzzing, so I highly recommend making an appointment, though they do take walk-ins if you’re feeling lucky. If you’re after a true NYC-style cut or a sharp fade, this is the spot. The team knows their craft—these are not just haircuts, they’re precision work. You walk out looking like you’ve got a meeting with a magazine cover. I’m about a 45-minute drive away now, but honestly, the miles are worth it. Good barbers are hard to find… great ones are worth the gas.

Fantastic experience: Super fire on the fade! This the only place I really trust to get it right every time in Minneapolis... No matter which barber you get you will get the cut you want. Suggest bringing a photo if you are very specific and they will make it happen. Thank you guy!

Negative experience: Made an appointment, was asked to change the appointment to half hour later, didn't get the person that I originally selected as my barber either. Felt pretty confident booking this place with all the 5 Star reviews, but barely had my hair trimmed, beard was barely touched...had to ask for everything to be gone over at the end. I showed pictures for exactly how I wanted the beard and exactly what I wanted the hair cut to be like. I wasn't even shown my hair until the very end of the cut. Every position I was put in, I had no view of my hair. Even after all of that, still not satisfied with my hair. Looks goofy. 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Tim—hands down the best barber in the Twin Cities. He gets my fade crispy every time.

Negative experience: Made an appointment with the owner. He understandably had a family emergency so he rescheduled me day of with another barber. I showed up and was told that he was booked and I couldn’t return for 3 hours and someone else would do it. It’s New Year’s Eve, like many I have plans. Be better, communicate with your staff.

Fantastic experience: I’m very picky with who I let cut my hair. After moving here in March, I lucked out and found Tim for my first cut that I needed. I came back to him everytime until I had to move. Tim does a great job of not only cutting, but also consulting. If you want something that won’t make much sense or look that great, he’ll let you know and offer alternatives. Never once did I regret going with his recommendation.

Negative experience: Made an appointment, showed up early, no one knew about it, another dude with a later appointment got put in front of me by the same guy who made my appointment. After already waiting a half hour he said I'd be next. Never giving them my business and suggest you don't either.

Fantastic experience: Yeah, it's indeed legit and high quality. I got a detailed, attentive, yet quick haircut and beard trim/shape up. I'm not sure about the barber's name (but I think any of the barber's would be equally good based in other reviews), but he expertly faded my beard into the perfect shape. I was walking out of Cheapo down the block not long after, and some random young dude, from like 10 feet away was like "Hey man, niiice beard." So that tells you all you need to know.
